Paying extra should be if I want to upgrade a seat and not for a seat in an area that I already paid for. This was definitely not an upgraded seat. I will avoid flying Sun Country in the future."

I understand that things don't always go right but it is important to provide good customer service on those occasions. SC failed me."

Pros: "The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout."

I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it."

I arrived at the airport 2 and a half hours before my flight was to leave and I read the departure board to see that the flight was delayed due to maintenance. Then I saw that it was delayed again because we were waiting for a flight coming in from the Bahamas. Well my flight didn't take off until about 7:30 pm. I arrived in Denver around 10:00 pm which made me miss my shuttle to the Springs. I am a diabetic and was in need of my medication so I needed to get home. I spent extra money to take a bus to downtown Denver and a grayhound bus to the springs and a cab to my home. So my trip cost my an extra $55.00 dollars I didn't have. I have always taken United but after this experience, I will never again take United."

At first when I booked this trip with FRONTIER $180 for my tickets looked like a decent deal, UNTIL I WAS TOLD AT THE COUNTER THAT I HAVE TO PAY $45 each way for a FRIGGIN CARRY ON BAG!! turning my reasonable and anticipated $180 trip turned into almost a $300 (NEARLY doubled my cost!) had I known I could have at least packed more into a checked bag for that price. 2.) my flight was delayed 4 hours on my outgoing flight, cutting into my personal time off and no compensation or even a kind gesture like a free McDonald's sandwich when you land...you guys really have poor quality and seem like you don't really care about the paying customer 3.) staff seemed clueless and didn't know how to answer customers questions as to why our flight was delayed!! 4.) mechanical issues with plane were the cause, or at least that's what the copilot or captain Just HAD TO MENTION TO US RIGHT BEFORE TAKEOFF, causing everyone to stir and raise eyebrows. 5.) to top off him mentioning the mechanical issues they were having with the plane the flight was rough..I've never been more tense or anxious on any of the other 30+ flights I've taken in my life. Pilot didn't seem to know how to handle turbulence."

The outbound flight was delayed over an hour with no explanation and perfect weather. When I asked for more water in the tiny cup, she poured it half way. I guess they are really trying to save money. Makes me wonder they took shortcuts on safety to save a few dimes."

Cons: "I was unable to print a boarding pass at one of the many kiosks - it informed me I needed to speak with a Frontier agent. The line for the agents was about 2 hours long, too long to wait to make the flight. After being told by a frontier employee that I'd just want to get in to the line to rebook on a later flight (9 hours later) I proceeded to speak with a momentarily vacant agent who, helpfully, printed and handed me my boarding pass. I arrived at the gate to a closed door and ended up needing to rebook anyway. I decided to just not go on the trip.... wasn't worth having to deal with Frontier 2 times in one day."

Pros: "I really liked the brand new and updated Airplane. The fit and finish was quite nice and the electronics and lighting were nice."
Cons: "The crew was poorly trained in virtually all aspects of their duties. They had no coordination among themselves and ran around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. One attendant yelled at a passenger at one point. They kept turning the lights on and off abruptly and made a HUGE deal about throwing away the trash because otherwise they will get stuck doing it all. The intercom system was also abused as the attendants made, at times foolish announcements, with a different attendant speaking almost each time. One would almost yell while another would speak very softly. The intercom system and speakers on this plane, particularly from the cockpit, when the captain spoke, sounded like it was from the Vietnam War era. For a brand new airplane, this was a disappointing shortcoming in the technology. We experienced excessive turbulance for the majority of the flight as well. I do not know if this is something the pilot is able to overcome but on this flight, it certainly was an issue as i almost had to vomit from all the very abrupt and excessive motion. I would not rate this as one of the better flights i have been on."

Then noting other passengers getting on the flight with bags they were putting in upper compartment without seeing how it had been verified that they had paid to bring on luggage to put in the overhead. I feel like a schmuck for paying for bags when it did not appear anyone was checking to see who paid and who didn't. Not even soft drinks were free."

Getting the luggage took an hour and a half and they sent us back and forth between two different pickup locations. What should take 15 minutes took much longer than desired."

Many opportunities were taken by company to recover discounted fare (and I am not referring to any baggage costs) Besides money, they ruined a special weekend through delays. Think twice! In fact, my comment is in reference to customer service in general. Everything is a fight now. I'm not a screamer, I'm rational. I laid out,clearly, where their policy was contradicted and that some empathy was in order and in the process was hung up on once and have not received a reply to my last email. If you gave no intention to achieve quality customer service, why pay for the department? Maybe they don't."

Someone warned me about them, but I thought that maybe it was that one time, but I was disappointed big time. My sister lost a baggage with spirit 2 years ago and they never helped. Spirits have lost me as Customer and I am sure that I will not be the only one. They make their tickets cheaper to lure people into buying them, then they still their money without even thinking about humanity. I had to buy another ticket and I am flying tomorrow. Worse company ever. They do not deserve to be working with people. People should never trust Spirits, it is beyond the worse."

There is no phone line at all that gets you to a human to speak to... at all! So asking for specific flight details was impossible. To get a bottle of water on a 5.5 hour flight was $3 which is inappropriate. The seats do not recline and are small. If you do not pay for you carry on a head of time they will charge you $100 which is basically robbery. I will never fly spirit ever again."

Sorry but Spirit Airlines will be only researched for services by me if it is an emergency. I am aware that the airline needs to make money or it will not stay in business however I think the cost to ck a bag, if it was reasonable, would speed up things so everyone wouldn't try dragging everything they have onto the airplane to stow in the overhead with everyone else waiting on them. I am familiar with your problems as I used to fly schedule 135 , in Calif from La to SFO."

When going to check bags, I waited in line only to find out at the counter that I have to print my boarding pass at a kiosk - if they do it for you they will, of course, charge you. Ridiculous. When I went to print the boarding pass, I got charged again - apparently it did not go through the night before for some reason although I was never alerted. So I was charged more now for paying at the airport vs. night before. Not to mention, two charges showed on my account."
