At no time was I made aware during my booking that I would be charged for a carry on. The total cost added $60 to my flight. I feel completely mislead. Customers also had to pay for water on the flight which was ludicrous.
the price for the trip does not include that you have to pay for Carry-on, which is an odd expense to passengers. Especially for shorter trips with the round trip the carry on charge would equal up to at least $60. Which would equal to another airline who is comparatively better especially because those airlines aren't worrying about charging the customers for every single thing. Additionally, Frontier isn't a participant of the TS-Pre Check program, which Frontier should advertise.
Everyone was polite and The airplane was clean. Even though we were very late every member on staff was kind, patient, and happy.
We were about 1 1/2 hours off of it original departure time. No one explained a thing to the passengers. We were delayed and when we finally got on the plane we waited a whole hour to take off. There was no information passed to us about how long it would take and our potential wait time. When it is time to check in, we had to purchase our seats. No where, when we bought tickets for this flight, did it say we had to pay extra money to actually sit on the flight.
$35 to check a bag.
$40 for any carry-on that doesn't fit under the seat!
$6 just to select a normal seat.
They make you pay for all beverages or food except "complimentary water."
Very old airplane, if you have any carry-on you'll have to pay $45, the crew wasn't really that friendly, the plane just felt old, like the oldest plane I've ever been on. It didn't take turbulence well, so we were getting knocked around the entire flight. They were offering 'free water" as if it were some big favor.
Maintenance delayed us for about an hour? supposedly a walky-talky, then paperwork problems. No food offered on a 5 hour flight. No free movie, only option was a 7.99 direct tv, Rippoff. Lots of turbulence. Main problem I had was no leg room. Im not a big person but I felt like a stuffed sardine between 2 other people.
After flying Frontier Airlines for the first time with my 4 year old daughter, I was pleasantly surprised with my entire experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful at the gates, the flight attendants were amazing and both of my flights arrived earlier than expected!!! I will fly Frontier whenever possible!!
No airline miles for flying with this carrier, but for the price of my tickets and for the savings it didn't matter to me anyways!
Crew was great, captain was a comedian. Pretty sure he broke the speed limit getting from Denver to OKC (95 minute flight took just about 67 minutes. Hey, the pilot told us he was going supersonic) no complaints here. Again, great entertainment, flight didn't last long enough to enjoy the free wifi entertainment.
This was a 6 person row plane. As such, with three on each side and more people front to back, I lost leg and shoulder room. At 6'4" & 280 with size 14 feet, you notice these things.
