I was told the “door dents” caused by other parked cars were my fault and an extra 2500 euro has been charged to my visa and I was required to sign a release (written in french) in order to leave. I find it literally not believable that alamo is not already insured for such damage and this is a fraud. I thought about getting the alamo insurance at rental time but it was quoted at nearly twice the rate of the rental. Now I know why. No more alamo or their partners for me or anyone I know. Guaranteed. Alamo has lost more money on the future than they have gotten from me.Reviewed Mar 30 2023

Very friendly staff either at the counter with Amanda or to take the car on the lot with Yannis at pickup as well as for droppings off on the return day I definitely recommend this rental car place in CDG and will do business with them in a near future!Reviewed Feb 11 2023

CDG Terminal 2 car rental does not have enough manpower to deal with customers for Alamo/Enterprise rental companies. I spent 3 hours in the queue, and during that time approx 20 people were served. Problem - just one person in desk. All other companies arround (Sixt, Eurocar, Budget, Hertz) did same quantity or even more in 1 hour, because they had 2-3 persons working. I made my flight to Paris faster, than got a car. Thats unnaceptable. Another problem - price transparency. When booking, i got price of 400 Eur. But insurance price not included, and in website it was not possible to get a total price. My full rental ended up with 850 Eur, and maybe that was the same price as other rental companies were offering. I selected this option because of price, as other offers i got were 700 Eur +. Was it really cheapest option i got? Im not sure. Website need to be modified to enable people to see final price they will get. Car not availableCons:When we arrived, our large family car was not ready even though we had mentioned our flight details. Very disappointing from Alamo, especially since we needed a large car fo the family and luggage. They offered a smaller car and still wanted to charge us extra! Normally, I am a happy customer of Alamo, but ;avoid the Paris Charles de Gaulle location. Very poor service and not up to Alamo's international standards.Reviewed Jul 25 2017
