Rented car no problem through Kayak and CarRentals.com. Arrived in Paris from the U.S. only to be told there were no cars. Then we were told they had cars but no more automatic transmissions (which is what we reserved). After being persistent, we were finally told that there was one automatic on the premises but it was a small hatchback not medium sedan as reserved, so we took it. Also, we checked ahead of time to see if our current auto insurance covered our rental in France plus, purchased additional rental car insurance from Allianz to insure that we were covered in France, but was told at the Europcar desk none of that would cover our car if something should happen to the car. In the end, the car worked out fine and we were very happy with it, but we could have done without the stress of being told we had no transportation for our 12 day road trip in France!Reviewed May 22 2023

Picking up car took forever. Must have been 90 minutes. Seemed super disorganized. It took 15-20 minutes for then to process each car. They seemed completely unaware about which cars were available and for some reason it was challenging to get the one we originally bookedReviewed Jul 3 2022

Picking up the car at Charles de Gaulle airport was not ideal as the Location we had been told to use in terminal 2 redirected us to another location in terminal 2F, a long walk with luggage. Apart from that the staff were friendly and helpful and the vehicle was comfortable and economical. Dropping off the vehicle in St Malo was straightforward as it was Sunday and the office was closed so the keys were put in a drop box. I would use Europcar in the futureReviewed May 22 2022

Pickup was really slow- like watching paint dry. Took 90 min to get our car. The process seemed really inefficient, nothing was automated. Last thing you want after a long plane ride was to spend 90 min waiting for your car.Reviewed May 10 2022
