Pros:

Staff was initially friendly. I was given a bigger car than expected.

Cons:

Because the car was washed before I received it, both the rental agent and I did not notice a major scratch on the trunk. I was accused of creating the scratch. Also, there was also visible damage to the windshield and the car no longer had a key remote opener. It seemed like I was knowingly given a car that was damaged to be charged for damage. I will never rent from this Enterprise, and possibly any Enterprise. I don't trust them .

Pros:

The service! Very aggressive very poor. Not very friendly as I arrived I was aggressively pushed out of the building because no one cannot come in the building because what is going on these days.

Cons:

Let the customer know that they cannot come in the building signs it still doesn’t help out that much some people just walk in the building as we do before. If someone walks in the door say hi please stand outside the building in a professional manner not aggressively Walking towards the customer aggressively With their hand up and stand outside towards the customer.

We traveled to Austin for a wedding and the car wheel was shaking when accelerating to speeds above 60 on the highway. There was a bit of a concern about the maintenance on the car.

The car smell some like smoke and the Radio speakers on right side were played full blast by last rental and were busted and had almost no radio for a long trip.

Pros:

The genuine nature of the person assisting me felt sincere. She was polite friendly and despite the busy environment, surprisingly cool calm and collected.

Cons:

My expectations were exceeded by how nice and clean was the vehicle. I used to be a professional chauffeur for many years in New York City and later Dallas. It makes an unspoken statement about the integrity of a company.

Car rental was fine. Don't use affirm to pay as sixt requires you to use the card you paid with for a deposit upon pickup and was not able to process it so I had to use my own debit card and now I'm trying to dispute the charge with affirm since I paid out of my own pocket

The pick up and drop off was very easy. We rented a car seat and they had a top of the line toddler car seat delivered to our vehicle for us. The vehicle was nice, clean and comfortable.

Staff was fantastic at pick up and drop off. However, we prepaid through Kayak and our vehicle was not available. Our only choices were to go without a vehicle or pay double to upgrade. The last minute rental was a bit pricey to begin with, and the final cost was exorbitant.

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.
