Cons:All of it.....when I got to avid to pick up the car reserved for me......they gave it away to a walk in.....them tey said come back in 30 minutes and they would have my car.....got back in 20 minutes and again they gave the car away to a walk in after they told me I would get the car I reserved.....then they told me I was out of luck they weren't going to do anything for me cause they closed at noon.....on top of that they STILL haven't refunded the $63 from the insurance. ....so no I won't take kayaks advice ever again....

Cons:If I was informed of business hours prior to taking the vehicle. I missed my flight and had to purchase 5 new tickets for my family. I drove 30 mins one to return the car only to find out the location was closed for the day. I drove 30 mins back to drop the car off at the airport, which was really hard to do. After that I had to take the shuttle to the airport only to find out my flight had just finished boarding. There I had to purchase new tickets for my family.

Pros:Absolutely nothing.
Cons:Avis took my reservation through Kayak but did not actually reserve a car to fulfill it. As Seinfeld once noted, anyone can just take reservations but it is the holding part that seems so difficult for Avis. I had to change my plans and rent from another company. Thanks Kayak! Thanks Avis! Great job!

Pros:I liked that there was inventory on short notice and the car ran great
Cons:The car was not clean inside or out and it had a bad odor inside. I had to buy a car freshener so I could be in it. There was melted gum imbedded and smeared all over the drivers seat belt.

Pick up was absolutely ridiculous. Took over two hours from entering the line to getting into the vehicle I had already scheduled. Completely screwed up all rest of my schedule. Upon return they have no record of me dropping the vehicle off, which was done on time on the correct date. Proceeded to try and charge me $1800 for a two day rental and had to close my credit card for fraudulent charges. To say least will never be using Avis again.

Pros:Nothing.
Cons:It started when we arrived, it took about 20 mins for a bus to take us over to the Avis rental center. Upon arrival they told us preferred members just go to this screen to find their car, my name was not listed. I then went inside this horrible facility. The condition of this building should have been my first hint this was not going to go well. I stood in line for about 45 mins with only 3 people in front of me, while the agents helped with difficult guests. I can look past this but it seemed like at least one guest was looking up prices on their phone and the agent could have helped those of us in line. Agent finally calls me, they were nice enough and told me to head to a spot. As I walked out the line had stretched out the door. Found the car and proceeded to inspect it, the car was missing parts to the roof, was not cleaned and had candy in the cup holder. I talked to a lady at the front and she told me to go back inside and tell them this was unacceptable. Looking at the line wrapped around the building there was no way I was doing that. She offered to have the car cleaned but at this point this Avis had wasted over an hour of our trip and we decided to cut our losses. I BEG YOU TO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS AVIS. I will not be renting from Avis ever again.

Cons:I was overcharged and didn't realize it at the time. I reserved the car through CarRentals.com at a rate of $37/day. The salesman at the counter told me I could upgrade for $12/day and I agreed. I was charged $30/day more -- $67. When I turned in the car, they said they would email a receipt to me because their computers were down. I never received the receipt by email but my credit card was charged for the higher $67/day rate. I felt like the salesman was trying to upsell me. I will probably not use Avis again.

Pros:I liked the vehicle I got, the Kia Soul. It was comfortable and a easy vehicle to drive. However then did not clean it before it was rented to me so it stank like cigerate smoke and had dead bugs across the whole windshield.
Cons:When I went to pick up the car it was very busy and I waited 25+ minutes. When I finally got the car it was dirty and smelled terrible. There were bugs smeared all over the windshield and the inside was stained by cigerate smoke. However when I went to return the vehicle I pulled into park and there was a man yelling at me that I couldn't park there. I told him I had to drop off the car and he said he didn't care I couldn't park there. However this is were I had parked when I dropped the car off and several other people were already parked there. I said ok and drove around the block and parked on the street and went to return the keys. Then the lady at the desk told me I had to bring the car inside the garage because she couldn't move it if it was on the street. I went and tried to bring it into the garage and the man continued to yell at me (he worked for the hotel in the same garage) I said I was going to park there anyways and left the car and got out. He then proceeded to curse at me and tell me my car was going to be hit. I said thank you and went insdie and have the lady my keys and she immediately went out and moved the car. I just don't see what the big deal was for this man. Also the quote from Kayak was way lower then I actually paid. I was quoted $174 and actually paid $326. For these reason I will never go back to this location. They need to get some better parking options.
