Pros: I appreciated the ease of online scheduling.
Cons: I did not like the lack of flexibility using this service caused me; I would have been better off to go the rental car agency itself as the incurred cost, for LESS time was the same.

Cons: Extremely inconvenient hours for pickup and return. Very limited selection too. Got there a tiny bit late and almost all the cars were gone.

Great car and price horrible customer service!!
Pros: The car was clean and easy to drive. The price was excellent.
Cons: The person handling the drop off was absurdly rude and actually blocked in my rental with another vehicle got out of the vehicle and yelled at me. I was so upset. This person should be fired immediately.

Pros: The service and actual car were fine no issues at all Pickup and drop off were easy
Cons: I have Avis Preferred membership and there did not seem to be any way to link the kayak rental on Timmy Avis membership, so I did not receive Preferred benefits such as the car being ready and waiting

Pros: Avis and budget have a glitch in their system that creates an invalid report on your driver's license. So I was unable to rent from them and they were not willing to call to fix the situation. I was able to rent with zero problems from another car rental company. This is the second and last time I will try to run from them.

Slow pick up-fast drop off
Pros: The return process was quick and easy. Parked, had an AVIS rep with me immediately. Got the receipt. On the bus to the terminal.
Cons: The pickup process was painful. The line was 15 deep when I joined. To their credit, the counter people worked quickly. Thirty minutes at the counter. Much longer than I would like.

Not what we asked for
Pros: We specifically asked for SUV like a Suburban. We called the day before pick up to confirm that because we were transporting a couple of pieces of antique furniture to a family member in Oregon. And were told all ok. Called again before pick we called to reconfirm told all is good. Size was key. On pick up we were give a small SUV Smaller by 12 inches in it's length. Avis was unappolagetic for this. This required us to braked down 3 boxes that were going on the trip and some how find room in the SUV before we could proceed with our trip.

Dirty, scratched ashamed to drive the car
Pros: The car drove nicely
Cons: It was dirty from the previous driver, dusty, greasy smudges on everything, stuff on the floor, dirty Windows, scratches all o et the car, I was embarrassed to pick up clients in the area. broken car charger. Nearly impossible to find an address to return vehicle, then when I finally got an address, my Gps didn't recognise the location. I went to the wrong place the first time. then the attendant told me to get on the green bud and pointed do o got on it but it took me to the wrong terminal. I nearly missed my plan. Dallas Avis is THE BOMB awesome!!! from Cyndi in C
Pros: We got a brand new car that was INCREDIBLE!!! It had a rear-view camera on the bumper to show the back-up scene. I just kept wanting to back up just to witness that feature. The ride was smooth. The inside temperature was perfect for all weather situations since it was individualized for each passenger. We went through rainy and hot days with ease. The staff at AVIS was very supportive, AMAZING, and super-fun!
Cons: The car kept losing connection with our phone telling us that the USB didn't support our smart phone for the GPS. We got lost 3 times because of that.

More hassle then it's worth
Pros: I liked the vehicle I got, the Kia Soul. It was comfortable and a easy vehicle to drive. However then did not clean it before it was rented to me so it stank like cigerate smoke and had dead bugs across the whole windshield.
Cons: When I went to pick up the car it was very busy and I waited 25+ minutes. When I finally got the car it was dirty and smelled terrible. There were bugs smeared all over the windshield and the inside was stained by cigerate smoke. However when I went to return the vehicle I pulled into park and there was a man yelling at me that I couldn't park there. I told him I had to drop off the car and he said he didn't care I couldn't park there. However this is were I had parked when I dropped the car off and several other people were already parked there. I said ok and drove around the block and parked on the street and went to return the keys. Then the lady at the desk told me I had to bring the car inside the garage because she couldn't move it if it was on the street. I went and tried to bring it into the garage and the man continued to yell at me (he worked for the hotel in the same garage) I said I was going to park there anyways and left the car and got out. He then proceeded to curse at me and tell me my car was going to be hit. I said thank you and went insdie and have the lady my keys and she immediately went out and moved the car. I just don't see what the big deal was for this man. Also the quote from Kayak was way lower then I actually paid. I was quoted $174 and actually paid $326. For these reason I will never go back to this location. They need to get some better parking options.

Pros: Nothing about that experience was good
Cons: All of it.....when I got to avid to pick up the car reserved for me......they gave it away to a walk in.....them tey said come back in 30 minutes and they would have my car.....got back in 20 minutes and again they gave the car away to a walk in after they told me I would get the car I reserved.....then they told me I was out of luck they weren't going to do anything for me cause they closed at noon.....on top of that they STILL haven't refunded the $63 from the insurance. ....so no I won't take kayaks advice ever again....

Avis really came through, Kayak messed up
Pros: The fact that even though My reservation was for an off airport rental place, the employee found a deal that allowed me to get the same price at their location(on airport) The car had a USB port!
Cons: Kayak set me up with a rental with a company not on the airport premises. The car had iPhone integration, but no cruise control? What? Minor problem. :)

Cons: BUT AVIS personal at pickup location use deceptive practices to sell more damage waiver insurance cost $28 to my daughter despite I already had purchased the insurance online and she told the agent about it. You must be alert about this for your rental. God Luck at Dallas DAL airport AVIS location!
