Cons:Car was shifting and revving all over the place - kicking off cruise control anPassenger seat wouldn’t adjust, so wife had to ride 4 hours in one day uncomfortably.
Pros:The service was very good checking in and the car was readily available.
Cons:The seats and driver arm rest were kind of dirty. The worst part was I had people in the back seat on the second day and when they pulled the rear passenger side seat belt out it the strap was nearly torn in half. If there was an accident that could have led to a fatality. I informed the people upon return and they marked the windows up with the problem and said it was probably caused by someone using a baby seat. I believe if the seats were cleaned and the vehicle thoroughly inspected the torn seat bely would have been noticed.

Cons:Had to reserve another car because of miscommunications between kayak and budget. Friday reservation by kayak was deemed Saturday reservation by Budget. Instead of a $21 per night rate quoted and reserved through kayak, budget said I had to wait until midnight, the next day, to get that rate or pay $200 per night. Wtf? Kayak stated Friday 15 April midnight on the email I received; budget said that meant Saturday after 12:00am. I arrived at the Airport, Dallas Love Field, at 8:30pm. They would not let me have the car early inspite of me showing them the email stating it was 15 April. Anyways, I feel like Budget was trying to screw me because they had cars available and was charging $200 a day but would not let me get my car early.

Cons:I spent one full hour in line to get this car with slow moving, nonsense of urgency people working behind the counter. I was 30 minutes late for my meeting that I should have been early for— and it was humiliating. It was such a blatant disrespectful display of ALL the people. Never ever again

Cons:I repeatedly searched for a car rental from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. I very specifically typed in DFW for the location. What a surprise to discover when I went to the airport budget counter that I had actually rented from a location 30 minutes away and in the opposite direction of where I was going! The airport location told me that kayak does this all the time. The price from their location was 150 more, so I chose to take a cab 30 minutes away to the other location. I will never use kayak for car rentals again. If I can't trust that you are having me rent from the location I type, how can I trust the site?
