Cons:They didn't have my reservation. Credit card wasn't accepted. I had to get a plane to my destination. Not good.
Cons:The purpose of my trip was to settle my mom's affairs as she was dying. My trip got moved up a week as it appeared she might go sooner. Imoved the rental up too. Instead of the original 2 weeks, I had 3 weeks. The car rental I kept at 2 weeks hoping I would shorten the trip by a week. That didn't happen. When I called in to exspand my rental I was told that I had to use the same credit card. I couldn't do that because a payment on that card wouldnt' clear for 2 days. I had to drive 90 miles to turn it in. Tried to get a second rental but couldn't because I couldn't use my atm as I hadn't flown in that day. Could't split deposit & rental fee with 2 credit cards. Had to get someone to drive 90 miles to get me. i will NEVER use Hertz again. It is nonsense that even if you can show your flight details, because you didn't fly in the same day you can't use an atm card or use 2 credit cards.
Pros:We arrived at the Hertz location at DFW only to be told that we were at the wrong facility. We traveled to the 2909 Forest lane Facility to find the location was closed. When making the reservation, I was very clear that we were picking up the vehicle at DFW airport location, regardless we were not accommodated. When the Hertz staff finally arrived, they did not the have the pickup truck I reserved, they provided a sub compact suv. Upon returning the vehicle to the 2909 Forest lane location, they were closed with NO drop box, or any other method to secure the returned vehicle. Upon calling the Hertz reservation desk, I was told by Mark the employee, to return the vehicle to DFW and there would be no additional charges, now I am being charged a alternative dropoff fee with no method to resolve the issue. I was told, "It is your responsibility to know the requirements for drop off"?!? At no time during the pickup of the vehicle was there any mention of returning the vehicle on Sunday.
Cons:This is so out in left field, I am not sure what to say. I do know that when calling asking Hertz, asking what to do with the car, I was not speaking to a person in the United States. Two things, there was no understanding of the situation and no empathy, at all, none.
The initial man I was directed to didn’t care to listen to the specifics of my situation, told me to book the rental online first even though I was standing right in front of him and he could’ve booked something for me. In the middle of me booking a car, he went on break. So I ended up being helped by two other people. The initial cost of my booking was over $900 for three days because I was going to return the car at a different city, but one of the other ladies helped me adjust my booking to accommodate my need. Overall I didn’t feel very welcomed, but the first guy (taller, skinny, dark skin, maybe Mexican) isn’t a professional, he doesn’t know how to maturely interact with customers. The other two ladies that helped me (one larger black woman with braids, the other was a smaller skinny black woman with an Afro and long red nails) were so nice and helpful. They could tell I wasn’t being assisted and jumped in. I’ll probably avoid this location in the future.

Pros:The car and the value...drop off was seemless
Cons:Check in was a little slow.. not too bad.
Pros:Nothing. Staff was rude and slow. They didn’t have the car I reserved or anything even close. All they had was panel vans for my ten hour car ride. It was filthy, and the tires were all half low on air. The oil was even low. Unbelievably bad experience. I’m furious

Cons:Hertz did not honor my reservation. When I was on the way to the rental facility they called and said they didn’t have any cars available. When I got there they had no alternatives, offered no help, so I was stuck with no car. I will never rent from Hertz again and would discourage anyone from using them. Use Budget or Avis or Enterprise or anyone else.
Cons:I payed for a SUV car. Not only I waited for my car around an hour to arrive but only they did not have the suv available and I had to go with an economy car which obviously cost less.
