We stayed here while attending a Nets game. The room was a decent size for NYC. It was clean and updated, as was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was great! Fresh fruit, croissants baked to perfection, fluffy eggs, I could go on! It was delicious! Our room rate included access to the Executive Lounge which turned out to be a big disappointment! I’ve experienced lounge access at other hotels where the lounge was stocked around the clock and that was not the case at this hotel. When we visited the lounge shortly after checking in on a Saturday, there were only a few bottles of water (and only one type; no sparkling); literally a few cans of soda (and only two types); no juices; the coffee machine wasn’t operable; and the snack selection consisted of two packs of cookies, a few granola bars, and three small bags of chips. And when we returned to the hotel later that night and stopped by the lounge for a snack, the only thing left was water and three granola bars. Definitely wasn’t worth the higher rate. Overall, I would stay here again for the right price but would not pay extra for Lounge access.
