The room was clean and large enough; all the necessary facilities were there e.g. TV set, iron. microwave dove, refrigerator Some noise from the street
Cleanliness, value surrounding neighborhood, train noise.
The room was quite (we were at the back of the hotel) and clean. The bed was huge and very confortable. Very poor breakfast
Very clean room, I mean spotless, and staff was friendly & courteous. Loud noises late at night and early morning. Im pretty sure my room was next to the hotel laundry facility, it sounded like dryers tumbling... The location is a bit out of sorts, but it's in a transitional area, maybe they're just early to the game and a few years from now that street will be transformed. To be clear I never felt unsafe, just not as clean of an area as I had hoped for.
Hotel lobby was bright and welcoming. My room was clean and well presented as well as toilet. Girls at front desk were as sweet as ever and very informative. Continental breakfast was sufficient. Not a super nice area in Brooklyn. Someone decided it was a good idea to play their god awful rap music at full blast in the hotel parking lot from 12-3am, which was located right outside our room 107.
Building facilities were clean and well-lit, but room amenities were basic. Could not get hot water out of showers or taps at any time of day for three days. Room was not cleaned one day despite request. Noisy ice machine directly outside room.
Friendly & helpful staff. Plentiful breakfast items. Complimentary newspapers. Comfortable room. No complaints.
I forgot my toothpaste at home, cz. I was in a rush to beat the rush hour traffic. Therefore I was kind of anxious a little bit thinking there was none. I don't see why they did not leave it in the toilet with the other toileries.
Free parking, ridiculously friendly staff throughout the hotel, complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. Perfectly located in Crown Heights near 2 train lines. I'll stay here again if I need a hotel in Brooklyn.
Closeness to subway. Hotel staff is very rude, and fiscal. They let me out of the breakfast room at five to ten on sunday morning, pretending it was already ten and they had to close it. Breakfast was already paid of course. Rail is very close, at night you can hear it on your pillow.
It was clean and well maintained The location/ neighborhood was somewhat run down. There was no hotel parking offered, so had to try and find parking on the street in a poorly lit area in a rundown looking neighborhood. Room was neat and clean but very small and cramped.
nice staffs hard to park the car
It was only hotel available in the location. Staff was friendly and helpful We were charged the cost of a discounted night stay on the credit card given for incidentals, therefore paid twice for the night. Will need some help contesting the double bill.
Overall clean and breakfast No parking Faucet was broken Front desk staff not helpful
breackfast poor i ask for check out 2 hours delete and the staff ask me one day rate i ask for leve my legguage and the staff ask me 50$ for me is the last experience in this hotel
The staff was very welcoming on our arrival and were very detailed in answering our questions. Being able to park in the garage was an additional $20, so we opted for the sketchy street parking. We felt we needed to continue checking to make sure the car was still there.
La Quntia, there was no parking to be had anywhere, I made three trips around the blocks, nothing after talking to clerk I told him that I was giving up. went on to days inn and slept in my van, the La Quinta clerk said he would refund my lodging cost but
Good hotel . Staff vero polite . Breakfast very good with fruit , marmelat and Bread .subway not to fare. To Reach manathan non less 50 minutes from hotel
Very clean Parking
Car parking was very important for me. I left my car in a secure place and went to downtown by subway. Room was rather big and fresh. All equipment new and in a good condition. Linens and towels were clean, fresh, stainless. No hair in a bath tub. I stay only one night. Not enough probably to notice all 'pluses' and 'minuses' but more smiles on stuff faces would be better.
Very clean, very small hotel. Extremely quiet. Able to get a good night's rest. Even though I had a reservation it took a while to get my room. The front desk had to verify that a room was available.
Room was a good size. Horrible location. Hotel was in a bad dirty neighborhood and a 10 minute walk from subway station. Subway service to this area was slow and limited on the weekend. I did not feel safe. The free breakfast was limited and not tasty. Staff was not friendly.
This place is nothing special. I liked the soap and lotion that they provide. They are way better than anything that you'd find at a Holiday Inn. This place is only 6 months old so everything was in good shape. The TV came in clear and might have even been true HD which is pretty good. Price was okay. The breakfast was lacking anything hot except oatmeal. No workout room. Location was a little shady. Shady enough were I didn't want to be walking around by myself after the sun went down. There is an elevated train on the same street which can be a little noisy. I live near the EL in Chicago so I'm used to it, but it might be annoying to some.
I've stayed at TML before and found it a charming if cramped stay for a good value. Unfortunately, for my latest reservation, I was given the wrong code and was unable to gain entrance to my room. I called their emergency number and sent emails to their office. Waited with my 3 month old daughter on the front door step for an hour. No reply. No refund. Nothing.
The location is ideal for a visit to Brooklyn! It's close to the A/C train and a very pleasant walk to the Botanical Gardens and the Brooklyn Museum. Crown Heights is full of delicious places like Lula Bagels, Catfish, and Berg'n, and all of these--and more--are just steps away! The price is right too. Suite 9 was very spacious. My cousin and I both had our own sleeping area and enjoyed chilling out in the living room between adventures. We also appreciated the kitchen for snacks and drinks. The decor was whimsical and comfy; it felt very much like my first apartment in a quirky, shabby chic Victorian walk-up way. The staff was very friendly too. Our room was definitely missing some lanterns--it was pretty dark. Also, the whole process of booking a room, communicating about arrival, even finding the office at 1185 Dean Street didn't exactly instill confidence that I hadn't made a tragic mistake. But my overall experience definitely exceeded my expectations. I would definitely return and recommend it to my friends who are cool with hostels, no promise of fast Wi-Fi, and general quirkiness.
It was a good value for the price- we stayed there mainly for location and didn't stay in the room much. It was kind of cramped- especially the shower- and there were signs everywhere telling us not to touch things. The sheets and towels were clean, but I think the rest of the rooms could benefit from more cleaning.
The bathroom was reasonably clean There were stains on the towels not going to speculate what those were from. Room was very small and the telephone had not been cleaned in ages we were afraid to touch things in the room
The hotel is located in a questionable area. There were many shady people hanging around outside and in the lobby. I didn't even stay the night. There is a sign at the check-in desk how much is charged for a 4 hour stay. That's not what I'm looking for in a hotel. It looked ok from the outside and the room wasn't bad either, but my daughter and I weren't comfortable there at all.
not good at all too much noise in the hallway
It was walking distance to the train station The blanket had burns in it the ac filter smells like it haven't been changed
