Great deal for the Budget
Pros: I had a friend that rented the same make and model Fusion But not the Kick -SS VERSION LIKE MINE. It was fast and fun to drive a big bang for the buck.
Cons: More time to drive it. I have considered purchasing the same vehicle.

Pros: excellent service at the rental place and I just dropped the car as we didn't have to wait for the attendant which was faster especially given many people were waiting.

Long line, no staffing
Cons: They had two people at the counter and 50 people in line. How do you not know how many reservations you have and staff accordingly. I made a reservation with another company while waiting in line and paid $20 more, but it was worth it.

A few issues...but all fixed with a satisfactory o
Pros: Quick check in, the car was not washed or vacuumed though. Car was very nice, would consider buying a 2017 Hyundai Sonata after this rental! I will also go back to this Budget after they resolved my issues.
Cons: -Budget Love Field location was closed from 1am-5am when my plane left at 6, super inconvenient. This should be expressed very clearly!! Most other airport car rental places are open 24hrs. -Called to extend my rental a few hours. Customer service said no problem wouldn't increase my price. When I returned the car, they increased my price by $125.00. -Spoke with a manager at the rental counter , he saw that I called, and completely removed the additional charges.

Awesome Customer Service
Pros: I arrived in Dallas at 1:09 am and Budget was closed, but they had a sign to go to Avis counter and my reservation was ready when I arrived at the Avis counter.

Do not rent from Budget at DFW in the middle of th
Pros: The car itself was very nice, and very comfortable (higher class than we usually rent).
Cons: Budget (and their partners) are not actually 24h at their DFW location, all the partners go through AVIS during the night... so yeah, waiting an hour to get a car at 1 am (followed by 2 hour drive) is VERY painful. I made some remarks about it to the agent, but both him and us were frustrated; nonetheless, they ended up making some unacceptable comment.

Slow But Helpful
Pros: I arrived late in the evening at Dallas Love Field and check-in was quite crowded. Instead of quickly working through those waiting, reps tried to upsell those ahead of me. Fortunately, that did not happen to me (perhaps because I prepaid?). Also, I had made a mistake in my reservation, which the rep quickly resolved, efficiently and pleasantly. Overall, very pleased and will use Budget again.

Pros: The car I got was very clean and got the job done.
Cons: The car I reserved was not ready at the schedule time. It wasn't even at the location. They attempted to upsell me to 3 different cars, and only after I declined all of these upsells and waited for 30 minutes did they offer me another vehicle for the quoted price.

Pros: I like that they had several different minivans to chose from. I had rented one for a week to Disney world. Thank you Danny at the Dallas Lovefield office for fixing a clerical problem.
Cons: Lets just say thank goodness I still have my confirmation #.

Unbelievable surcharges - including an absolute li
Pros: Car was just as described - new, clean, satellite radio, great amenities. Quick check-in process and friendly staff.
Cons: When I returned my car in Houston, I was billed $166.03(!) for fuel service. When I asked why the charge was so high upon dropping the car off in Houston, the Budget rep told me they bill at $10.00 per gallon, but I had more than half a tank remaining, and the Dodge Charger.'s fuel tank is only 18.5 gallons! Overall, I paid a total of $543.95 on what was quoted to me as $206.59 including all taxes, surcharges, and fees. These surcharges, particularly the fuel ripoff, were an enormous slap in the face and I will NEVER rent from Budget again.

Easy In and Out
Pros: Very easy check in and check out. The guy that checked me in was fantastic. Very Friendly and personable.

Robbed due to Friday midnight definition
Pros: Original price quoted by Kayak
Cons: Had to reserve another car because of miscommunications between kayak and budget. Friday reservation by kayak was deemed Saturday reservation by Budget. Instead of a $21 per night rate quoted and reserved through kayak, budget said I had to wait until midnight, the next day, to get that rate or pay $200 per night. Wtf? Kayak stated Friday 15 April midnight on the email I received; budget said that meant Saturday after 12:00am. I arrived at the Airport, Dallas Love Field, at 8:30pm. They would not let me have the car early inspite of me showing them the email stating it was 15 April. Anyways, I feel like Budget was trying to screw me because they had cars available and was charging $200 a day but would not let me get my car early.

Disorganized with poor communication
Pros: I liked that we were able to get the vehicle I thought I reserved, after they told us is wasn't available.
Cons: I didn't like confirming the car with the lady at the pickup center only to arrive and have the car not available(she called to confirm 20 minutes prior to me arriving. I let her know I was literally on my way). Also, the vehicle was FILTHY. I cleaned the interior myself because there was dirty sticky film over the hard surfaces. I used a anit-bacterial fabric spray on the upholstery for good measure.

Cons: two days before the rental pickup, they called us to say location is closed. Only option was to pickup at airport. They did not honor the quoted / committed rental rate at airport location.

Pros: it was a comfortable clean car.
Cons: the Budget customer service staff were unreliable. One staff member guaranteed me a specific service for free and the next one tole me that they would charge me $206 for that service when I called to confirm that the change was made. I will advise against others using this company.

Poor customer service
Pros: Car was clean. Easy to drop off.
Cons: I did pay only what was quoted me but upon pickup the sales agent tried to get me to add on several other fees and explained them poorly. Notably there fee for using their service for tolls was explained the worst. Already stressed out from traveling I spent the first day terrified that I would be paying more than anticipated for my rental.

Pros: Have no problem whatsoever, paper work, car was ready to be picked up, the only thing that could have made it better was to have more agents at the counter, they were quite a few people waiting.
Cons: Agents made you feel welcome and relax, were very efficient at what they where doing.

Pros: Great experience! Everything went according to plan.
Cons: I did not like the extra toll that was added to my bill. I didn't use it as much as I was charged. This is the only disappointment I experience.

Pros: This app gave me one price and I paid 10 times that. A true bate and switch. The app said 14 $ a day. It was 4 days for 370$ that is not 14 a dad. The agent canceled my resevertion made with this app said she could get me a better deal. Anyway it sucked. A car is a car, only difference is the cost, service is all the same where ever you go.
Cons: Cost from this app was a lie

Pros: Everything was a smooth ride from the reservation, picking up and dropping off. The customer service was excellent. I made a reservation for an economy car. When I went to pickup realized that it was just too small. I was able to change to another vehicle without any problem. The attendant was very knowledgeable about what she was doing and therefore, was able to accommodate price and size of vehicle.

Pros: We had a car. Rental location in reference to the airport was good.
Cons: A few things to keep in mind. First and most important, the individual processing the paperwork never mentioned the e-toll convenience fee of $3.95 a day. We rented for the car for four days so paid $15.80 for a $1.73 toll. Seems fair. Second, we rented a Jeep Patriot 2WD. Not a great car so future renters, keep in mind and ask for something else in that car class. Third, customer service was ok, not great, but ok.

Fast & Friendly
Pros: The shuttles buses seemed to wait for me - very prompt & helpful. The service desk professional was very nice! The car itself was super clean!

Cons: got a cheaper deal at budget but they added $150 more in taxes + surcharges.

No grace period on extra day fee
Cons: Line was unacceptably long with only three employees working when we picked up. Two hours late to drop off and was charged for an extra day. The car was okay, but could have been cleaner and a higher trim level. I rented a car in the same class in Portland the week before and it was miles better.
