Pros: Very nice hotel. I thought I lost my sun glasses. Staff was very helpful and even gave me 2 call backs to let me know they had looked but couldn't find them. I thought that was very nice. Room was very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and spacious also. Beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when I go to the amusement parks such as Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm.
Cons: Food line for omelette took a long time.
Pros: Free parking
Pros: Loved everything about this hotel! Place looked brand new and up to date. Staff was so friendly. Everyone greeted us and was so helpful. Breakfast was great too.
I even told the staff how wonderful they were and that I would come back again.

Pros: Comfortable room. Nice bathroom.
Cons: Price was too much.
Pros: Very comfortable. Nice stay. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Iron didn't work. Vanity mirror didn't work. One request from staff wasn't filled. No microwave.
Pros: Super clean and nice. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. Beautiful pool deck on the roof where you can eat and relax. The shower was amazing. Super large.
Pros: And prRoom was nice. But the staff was very helpful
Pros: Clean. Upscale. Comfortable
Cons: Cost per night
Pros: J'aime boucoup le location.
Cons: J'aime pas de petit roms et parking.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: No shuttle service
Pros: Good location. Near shopping and the beach.
Cons: Construction made accessing/finding front of hotel difficult. Hotel had no signs indicating where entrance was located and no street level signage visible. Confirmation emails did not indicate hotel was under construction. Room service would not take our breakfast order, weird.
Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach is a boutique hotel combining understated elegance with the enthusiasm of locally inspired designs. Ideally located in the heart of downtown Long Beach, Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach is steps away from 100+ restaurants, activities and shops, including the Pike Outlets.
Pros: Great Location to the Queen Mary and restaurants.
Cons: Issues with wifi.
Pros: one of the most amazing experience to stay at the host hotel for the long beach marathon. the hotel made sure that the guests who stayed at the hotel who participated in the events will receive a mini brown bag w/ goodies for the race.
Cons: room did not come w/ a mini refrig nor any mini bar
Cons: $26 parking for hotel guests. Receptionist just said "yeah, this is Long Beach"
Pros: Everything was nice, nice staff and very convenient to everything.
Cons: The bathrooms were dirty and the shower absolutely was the worst one I've ever encountered.
Pros: The view from the room was great & staff was great!
Pros: The "Check In" staff was wonderful, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable and I will mostly likely stay here again when I visit Long Beach, CA. The hotel is in a great location prior to cruising and/or enjoying the beach.
Cons: Even though my parking fee was waived, I hope free parking becomes a standard practice.
Pros: Very convenient stay while attending the ISSE at the convention center.
Cons: Very professional & attentive staff throughout my stay.
No doubt under great management!
Pros: Got a great last minute deal on this hotel, worked out great. Perfect location near restaurants and shopping on the shore.
Pros: The view
Cons: Rooms were to small
Pros: Location was perfect. Room was nice.
Cons: Room i was confir.ed with kayak was not available. Required a double and she kept insisting i take a king. Showed her my email.. the she found a room on the underground floor.. that had double veds.. after much hassle. Then after we checked out.. we went bac 2 hrs later to retreive a forgotton jacket and it was missing. Cleaning staff didnt find it.. it was specifically lEft in the clost. Only way it could have dissappeares was if someone took it .
Pros: The staff was fantastic and the room was very clean
Cons: Our only complaint was the poor quality mattress and the thin walls.
Pros: Being local to the beach and many restraraunts.
Cons: The room smelled horrible and the view I paid for was blocked by a tree.

Pros: Room was crisp and clean. Property and view was pretty.
Cons: Special event affected the noise during our stay. Circular courtyard provided lots of noise from other guests.
Pros: We (either spouse and/or kid) have stayed here at least once a year and have watched it undergo many improvements, it is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to the Queen Mary but would like to avoid the noise or prefer a larger room and a pool. Since it is set up like a motel, you have to walk over between buildings and to the pool. The Sunday brunch is fantastic, there is a cute sand area for the kids, decor is cute and the facility always appears clean. I have not used any of the service options (in room or pool side) due to some really bad experiences prior to the change of ownership.
Cons: During the last stay there was a music festival at the Queen Mary which is to say that it was difficult to get to the hotel and once there, parking was difficult and people were pre-partying around the hotel. We had dinner reservations on the QM and the woman at the front desk offered a golf cart shuttle to the ship. On our way to the room we watched concert goers jockey for a space on the golf cart and then proceed to sit on one another's lap to fit. When we later approached the golf cart pick up area we were relieved to find it empty. A person identifying himself as a manager informed me "this cart isn't working, the battery is out" and then he clarified that it was the only one they had. Lame. In the end we were able to get to dinner in 10 minutes via sturdy Louboutins and the walk path but I would have liked a more professional handling of the situation.
Pros: The atmosphere, view and vibe was relaxing and incredible !! the guy at the front desk was really respectfull and helpfull and even gave us free fresh baked choclate cookies at check in and compt our parking for our visit , think his name was Noor ... Highly recomend and will definitley be coming back soon ! Thumbs upppp
Pros: The staff was very courteous from the moment we arrived and very helpful the entire time. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Long Beach area in the future.
Pros: Easy access to bus line ( bus line is Clean an convenient) takes you to downtown long beach.
Free shuttle to cruise ship terminal.
Great pool and pool bar staff.
Cool/funky mayan theme throughout.
Pros: Nice waterfront location
Cons: Hard to fine by drivers
Pros: We especially liked the location and the service by the front desk. Fuego is a great place to dine.
Cons: Unfortunately, we were placed next to a family that were loud and disrespectful until late night. The hotel staff tried to quiet them; however, it took many attempts. It was not the real fault of the hotel; but it did make our stay unpleasant.
Pros: I would recommend a water view. It was a great!
Pros: The views, particularly at night.
Cons: It was undergoing renovation of one of the towers. Some noise etc. associated with that although it stopped by 5 pm.
The staff at the restaurant was really terrible when I had a late lunch. I have stayed there before and enjoyed good service, but it was quite bad on this trip.
I waited for at least ten minutes while waiters walked by me and waited on tables seated after I was. There were only 6 or so tables total as it was late afternoon. At one point my waiter talked to the table next to me about personal matters for about ten minutes and then walked off without coming by my table or refilling my water.
My experience with all other staff was excellent. The restaurant staff is entirely responsible for the Okay rating.
Pros: Beautiful view and location, and very nice room. The staff was very nice to deal with.
Cons: The price was a little high, and the rug in the room should be replaced.

Pros: Stay was Awesome Excellent Customer Service!!!!
Cons: I liked how when I called Front Desk about not having a microwave and how it said my room included microwave I was informed that it was available upon request and one would be delivered to my room right away and literally as I hung up phone I received a knock at the door that microwave had arrived and they set up. Great friendly staff!!!!
Pros: From the moment I walked past the glass door and into the Lobby area I was in love with the decour. The lobby area was beautiful and spacious. There was a snack room dining tables to our left and a bar/ restaurants right there. Once you continue to walk further into the Lobby you'll notice there is a computer area which all guests area allowed to use to surf the web or print. Next to that was more seating areas.
There was a beautiful fire place area outside that was surrounded by comfortable seats. There is a big pool and jacuzzi.
The bed was super comfortable and I loved the water pressure in the shower. Moreover, it is near everything so it was very convenient. It's surrounded by Medieval Times, Knotts Berry Farm, The Bodies Exhibit, Restaurants, The mall is down the street, etc...
Cons: The outside of the Hotel was dirty. There were a lot of leaves everywhere in the driveway area. This needed some serious cleaning As soon as I walked into the Hotel my opinion changed however. The rooms were a lot smaller then the pictures showed. Our room did not have a balcony which upset me but we did arrive before our check int time so maybe that was the reasoning behind that. The jacuzzi and the gym were in tiny rooms and everytime I intended to go into either one it was crowded. They only gave us 3 towels.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, clean bathroom, pretty up to date, close to attractions.
Cons: No personal valuables safe in room
clean but extremely small fitness nook/room
Pros: Close to tourist spots
Cons: Coming from the south must make a u-turn on busy street to enter parking lot.

Cons: The price was high for what you get at the hotel. I have stayed in very nice hotels that offer a more luxurious feel. Also, there were protesters there outside the main entrance almost every morning around 0700. You could easily hear them and it was quite obnoxious.
Pros: The hotel itself was beautiful, and edgy.
Cons: Everything was an additional charge and expensive. I've stayed in NY and never thought i'd see pancakes sold at $15. I also would expect a hotel to include wi-fi. Water for $5???
Pros: Elevator music vapid & hilariously loud
Wi Fi not free @ these prices?
Told suite would have welcome basket w champagne--got nothing
No newspaper weekends @ these prices?
Pros: Booked online for a room with a double bed. Reservation confirmation after booking the reservation snuck in "double or king." When we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms with double beds and not even any rollaway beds. So I canceled the reservation. Kayak may not be the responsible provider, but when the website option selected is room with double beds and that's the primary reason for my selection of the particular hotel, they better have that kind of room available to backstop my booking. Otherwise, it's false advertising. I will think twice before using Kayak again to book a hotel room.
Pros: Breakfast was very expensive, but also very good.
Cons: No fridge, no ice machine on my floor, very dirty bath tub, uncomfortable bed, no outlets by mirror, outlets by bed did not work,

Pros: It was so close to shoreline and pine avenue
Cons: You could hear through the rooms
Pros: Location was great. 15 minute walk to the Pike and waterfront location. Close to restaurants, and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and plenty of parking.
Cons: The pool was a little small.
Pros: Cleanliness and friendly AM staff
Cons: No room service
Pros: In the middle of Long Beach downtown. You could walk to local restaurant. Free breakfast was good.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like
Pros: The hotel is clean and the rooms look modern and up to date. The location in downtown Long Beach is pretty central if you want to be in Long Beach.
Cons: Two double beds instead of two queens, lots of sound traveling between rooms, not a very good shower, room was on the smaller side, check-in issues were an annoyance and were due to staff's actions. Price quite high for what we got.
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: Parking could have been better, no big deal, we arrived late!
Pros: It was clean and comfortable . I liked that it had things you might forget like a razor , sewing kit, toothbrush , ect.
Cons: Not enough seating area at breakfast.
Pros: Convenient drive from there to the funeral I was attending the next morning. Easy check out
Cons: Parking fee and got the very last parking spot at night
Pros: Location if hotel And cleanliness.
Cons: the pool looked deceptivly large on the website. It was basically a giant hot tub. The staff was not accommodating. I wanted an earlier check in @ 2:15, I had three small children and apparently no rooms were clean. The breakfast was shady at best and not much room. I had to take the food into my room. This is the last Best Weatern I stay in.
Pros: Great Location for the Convention Center, lots of restaurant's in the area, and the comp. breakfast was good
Cons: The comp. breakfast should be extended to 10:30AM , Refrigerator in rooms would be good improvement. The coffee pot and ice bucket should not be kept in the bathroom, its unsanitary
Pros: clean & great location
Cons: THe undisclosed fee to park at hotel. $10 a night which was never disclosed on either website, NOT RIGHT!!!!
Pros: The rooms were spacious and very clean.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Clean facilities and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast not included with your stay but is available for purchase.
Pros: Staff & clean room
Pros: Everything else is great.
Cons: Bath room ventilation
Pros: Staff was great, place was clean and quiet. The location was alright, probably 5-10mins drive to go out and eat, shop and stuff. It is a great place if you're on a business trip, not really for families and kids.
Pros: Everyone on staff was so very nice, pleasant and eager to please. I have come to stay at this location every year for the last 2 years on Christmas and love everything about the team and the hotel. Keep up the great work!
Pros: Clean, quiet and nice view
Pros: Our room was always cleaned if we left late for the day. Front desk was very helpful.
Pros: The bed.
Cons: The ice maker on my floor was not working and the in room coffee was not good quality plus no tea was offered.
Pros: Location was very convenient for where I was working and my room was spacious and very comfortable. Nice gym for a hotel also. Couldn't of been more happy with my stay!
Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was super helpful. Full service from all employees 24/7 no matter what I asked I got help. I spent a week there with young kids and everybody was great.
Pros: Comfortable room, charging outlets on nightstand lamps
Cons: Hallway and elevator smelled like a sewer and could hear various noises from room.
Pros: The location is in a business type complex, very quiet and just the right distance away from the main road. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked through the doors. The lobby looks modern, they have a convenience store, they have restaurant/bar that plays the major games and they even have a interactive panel that shows you a feed of news, weather reports and even a flight status checker. The room was fairly nice and very clean. We stayed in the junior suite or something like that. Upon entry, there was a cool couch, nice desk and TV in the front room. Then through the shuttered door is the bedroom and bathroom. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I didn't wake up with back pain either. The bedroom has a nice sized TV in it. The bathroom is fine, but the tub is too shallow for a bath (if that's what you want). There is a full sized mirror right across from the closet. Of all things, I really liked the wallpaper in the room. I felt the wallpaper was newer and nicer than the 4-star diamond resort I stayed in the week before. While that won't matter to some people, it really sets the tone of the room for others. Also, there are outlets everywhere...huge plus! Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only downside was that our room had a view of the wall. I didn't go here to stay indoors, so I didn't really care.

Pros: Friendly staff, great rooms, clean hotel, nice decor.
Pros: Very clean, spacious rooms with small balcony overlooking pool and evening city lights. Close walk to numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Connected to wonderful bar/restaurant. Huge beautiful lobby and awesome staff. Very pleased with this stay.
Cons: When I went to check into my hotel they told me that they are full and don't have my room. I have already paid for the hotel yet they told me they don't have a room with two beds anymore and they only have one king bed room left. This left me speechless because how is it possible to sleep on a king bed with three guests. When I asked the front desk person to let me speak to the manager she tells me, i have to wait 30 minutes and she said that instead i could just take the king bed and be fine with it. Also, another thing she suggested was to get a refund if i don't wanna take the king size bedroom.
It was HORRIBLE experience because they over book the revenue of the hotel and people like us gets left with no room.
Pros: The on site restaurant was very good.
Cons: The wooden floors were not desirable because we could hear footsteps above us. One sliding glass door really didn't let in enough daylight.
Pros: I had a roof over my head
Cons: "Harbor view" was probably 20% of viewable area from room window. Other 80% was a corporate building about 40 feet away from the Courtyard hotel. Construction noise on the floor above mine sounded like a drumset above my room. Parking is $19. Only one room key worked. No room pictures on the website (as of 10/18/2015), so it's a roll of the dice on what you're getting since they are "renovating" rooms. Expensive, even for the basic room. Entire hotel smelled like they had experienced flooding/water damage. Very strong musty aroma.

Pros: Staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast and coffee were good. Convenient location. The grounds and rooms were clean.
Cons: Parking lot was small and very tight to park in. I had to wait about 10 minutes when checking in as the lone rep at the front desk sorted out some staffing issue. There was daylight coming through the door to the room that let every sound from the parking lot come in. Both nights we stayed there, there was some sort or argument happening in the parking lot or adjacent rooms.
Pros: Very clean, all staff helpful and nice. Will stay again and recommend to others.

Cons: I had a queen suite. For a suite it was small. Definitely not worth the money. I will look for other hotels next time I need to stay over in that area.
Pros: Room was cozy w fireplace. Breakfast large variety/ choices
Pros: Location, amenities, perfectly equipped rooms and very spacious.
Cons: Nothing I was not happy about!!
There were several places to sit and visit inside as well as outside and there was even a BBQ! I've never seen that at a hotel before! We will be looking at this hotel again for our future trips to SoCal
Pros: The spacious room and hot breakfast
Would not stay here again
Cons: The area had homeless people walking around all day and night. The staff was not professional. Our room had ants and the staff only said sorry. They did not solve the problem. For being apart of the marriott I thought is was unexceptable.
This hotel is an excellent facility for the price. The 'studio' is large, and well furnished. THe queen sized bed was very comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. The shower head was adjustable for e spray to satisfy everyone.
Pros: Excellent hot breakfast
Cons: Jacuzzi wasn't available

Cons: Gift shop prices were crazy - bottle of sofa was $3.49
Pros: Went through Kayak to purchase this room. Kayak seemed to think it was a 4 star. It is it not a four star, 2.5 to 3. Took 25 minutes to check in with only one person in line ahead of me, mold in the shower, shower was over all dirty and old, room was stuffy the whole time I was there, parking was 26.00, which is NOT advertised, found out when I got there, Internet was 14.95, which I was advised of that when I arrived although my receipt showed a king size room - Internet. My fault for assuming that if was included. won't stay here again, especially for the rate that I was charged.
Cons: Hmmmm... Large bath towels
Pros: Friendly And efficient staff
Quick and accommodating check in
Cons: Small pool with no bar also the sun is blocked by the hotel itself.
Pros: comfort, location, and view
Cons: the people
Pros: Friendly staff from top to bottom. Clean rooms and prompt service.
Cons: Parking structure was a little confusing with elevator locations and signage directing to main lobby from parking structure.
Pros: clean rooms, luxury, close to restaurants, beach and boutiques.
Pros: Liked the service of the staff;
Liked the comfortable bed;
Liked the cleanliness of the bathroom
Cons: overnight parking was too expensive!
Pros: very clean, spacious room, great bet and pillows.
Cons: Dated in its amenities. For example, checking in late evening, only limited room service is available, and no wine or beer offered. Internet service is not free. Exercise room was limiter. Least favorite thing was the view of the office building next door.
Pros: The room was spacious, clean and had a nice view.
Cons: The pool was small and needed an update
Pros: The location is nice. The view was good. Fast service.
Cons: They need to be green. The doors made a lot of noise when they closed. No low flow toilets. The shower handle was lose. They should have chargers for Mac products.
Pros: I loved the location and the architecture...The staff and food were excellent..
Cons: That I had to pay for wi-fi

Pros: Comfortable rooms, oversized, modern day TVs and available electrical outlets
Cons: Dusty lamps - every one them. House keeping cut corners, this one day, and hopefully, this one room only.
Pros: Great staff and room
Cons: you have to pay for wifi, business center, copies etc. I also expect a free breakfast for a room that costs that much.
Cons: My room reeked of smoke. I was not able to change rooms. A very poor experience.

Pros: One block from transit, two blocks from food. Staff was awesome
Cons: Shower was only thing that was a little too tight of a squeeze.
Pros: Central to downtown long beach and the convention center. This staff here were all so nice and helpful. Orlando and Tracy (I think that's her name, smaller woman with a cute accent) were especially helpful while checking in. Rooms are cozy and AC was cold! They have a cute little lounge area where they offer wine certain hours of the day! I drank an entire bottle my first night. Great experience, my boyfriend and I will most definitely be staying here next time we come for a convention.
Cons: Shower heads are a little intense. maybe too high?
Pros: I have never had better service from any hotel even as a Platinum or Diamond Member of the big chains. The staff made my stay at the Varden nothing less than a pleasure.
Pros: the staff at the Varden is absolutely incredible. The owner is almost always present, and the staff clearly follows his approach to making guests feel welcome - friendly, full service, helpful. They generally work hard to exceed every expectations. Whether offering a bottle of water, asking how things are going, or helping with printing boarding passes and finding a good restaurant, they make you feel welcome, and ensure that your trip goes smoothly - great service, great renovation of an old hotel, unique property, and close to everything you need (wonderful and diverse cuisine, convention center, big box stores, if needed, etc.)
Cons: There is nothing to not like!!!
Situated near the airport, this hotel is within a 15-minute walk of City Place Shopping Center, Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, and Aquarium of the Pacific. RMS Queen Mary is 1.8 mi (2.9 km) away.
Cons: no microwave, beds were so very very hard, we even ate our 3rd night and drove home day early because we didn't want to wake up stiff like we had, beds didn't seem like queen either and we were located in 2nd building which seemed like it was secluded from anything the hotel offered.. won't be staying here again

Pros: The staff was very friendly, free breakfast had a large choice in the menu and food was excellent. Parking was close to room, we were given a handicap room as requested.
Cons: There was nothing negative about this stay.
Pros: Clean. Great staff.
Cons: Pillows should be different sizes and different levels of firmness and softness.
Pros: Convenient location for our purpose with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very clean. Had no need to use the kitchen as we were only there 1 night.
Cons: We could not get the heat to flow through. We only got the fan blowing. Nothng was there to light the durolog in the fireplace. When the staff person brought up the matches, we read the print on the log which mentioned poisons. No fire.
Pros: The community atmosphere of complex and amenities in room.
Cons: Absolutely no where to park! This place needs more parking capacity. There needs to be a system where they ensure compact cars park in compact spaces. Too many examples of compact cars in non-compact car spaces. Really annoying!
Pros: The staff was very accommodating.
Cons: A bit outdated.
Pros: Very clean, we'll maintain hotel. Rooms are big! The breakfast has good selection of food! Will book again on my next trip to CA
Cons: Not really
Fight to find parking at night, dirty furniture, bugs, the list goes on. Would never stay there again. I will say though, the breakfast wasn't bad, but you had to wake up super early in order to get anything decent.
Pros: Honestly- Nothing
Cons: Fight to find parking at night, dirty furniture, bugs, the list goes on. Would never stay there again.
Pros: Fairly good wifi access. Staff friendly.
Cons: It needs to be updated. The tv/cable channels all came in fuzzy and poor sound quality. Very dissapointing. Constant smell of fast food from next door.
It was a nice hotel but they need to keep the grounds a little neater.
Pros: That they had breakfast a pool n a fireplace.
Cons: Not enough meat options. Just had pork. Late room Clean up.
Great location by freeway and In-N-Out, though the rest of the neighborhood is kind of strange, it's like an industrial park...
Pros: Multiple rooms in a single unit
Cons: Parking, there wasn't even close to being enough spots, and many of them were extremely small that cars couldn't fit into the spot. It felt a bit small compared to other Residence Inn hotels I've stayed at in the past, clearly meant for 2 people and not 4

Pros: Its a 1970's hotel with granite countertops. The bed was so hard! This place needs a major facelift. The staff was excellent and the room was clean.
Pros: Amazingly friendly and knowledgeable staff. We left every conversation with a smile.
Cons: Not much, maybe the bathrooms could us a bigger and more modern tub. Us bigger gals can't enjoy a good soak. But over all my boyfriend and I truly treasured out first Valentine's weekend together and were so happy we stayed at Knotts .
Pros: At night, the hotel/neighborhood was very quiet. The room was clean. The room heater/air-conditioner/fan operated quietly.
Cons: After 8am in the morning, it got noisy because of renovation work being performed on rooms a few doors down the hallway from our room or possibly on a floor above or below our room.
Pros: The park was close.
Cons: The room was extremely dirty and dusty. The carpet had stains and the bathtub was disgusting. I was a little upset because The room did not have a microwave and I was unable to heat up my infants milk.
Pros: Room size, proximity to KBF and Disney
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable, and very shaky!
Cons: I booked a king room they gave me a double queen saying it was kayaks fault. The matresses are rocks. The fire alarm went off in our room only in the middle of the night, about 2am, and when we called down stairs to remedy the issue security was sent to investigate US, if I wanted to smoke I would have chosen a room that allowed smoking but my husband and I are not smokers. The next morning house keeping woke us up around 8am in the morning trying to clean the room we startled her because she said "they" told her we had already checked out but we obviously had not and check out was not until 12pm. Worst experience ever with a "nice" hotel. We will never go back!
Pros: Right next door to Knott's
Cons: The whole property looks like it hasn't been updated since the early 90's... probably because it hasn't. The rooms are kinda ugly. The walls are paper thin. Room service is a joke (screwed up our breakfast order three different ways). The staff can't be bothered. Stay elsewhere and pay extra to park at Knott's. You'll be glad you did.
Cons: Its average hotel. Needs refurbishing. Its not 4star.
Pros: How close it was to Knott's.
Cons: The beds were hard and the walls were thin but overall it was bad for the price.
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful.
Conveniently located next to both Knott's parks and Medieval Times and Pirates.
Cons: Rooms small and hot. Needed to run the AC full time because my wind directly faced the sun.
Pros: Found a room for a great price a few hours prior to arrival. Located right next to Knott's Berry Farm.
Bed was comfy. Room needs updating
Plan ahead if using room service for breakfast. We made the mistake of ordering at 9am, which is an hour before the park opens... it took nearly an hour for food to arrive... food was meh.
Bring swim stuff. Great pool area for kids... splash pad was nice item to differentiate itself from other hotels.
Overall good value for our needs
Cons: Overall the hotel is in a state of disrepair.
Just little things really, stains on curtains, dents on walls, spots on fixtures.

Cons: Short-tempered, abrasive, and frankly disengaged staff. Shame they set the environment poorly.
Pros: I loved the historical value of staying on the ship.
Cons: The housekeeper had not made up my room by 3pm. I called guest services to ask if the housekeeper was going to clean my room. She came right away. However, she was rude when I opened the door stating "did you want me to clean your room or not?" I told her I wouldn't have called had I not wanted my room cleaned. She was just nasty so I did not leave her a tip.
Cons: Gift so not open early enough. Princess Diana enemy closed on a Friday until 3pm.
Why not babe it open all day especially on a Friday
Pros: Staying on a piece of history, traveling back in time, something new around every corner.
Cons: Ran out of hot water taking a quick shower.
Pros: Such a cool experience! We were upgraded from a standard (no window) room to one with a porthole, which was fabulous. Our room was no frills, but clean, and was quiet even though we were very near the renovation area. We ate and had a drink in the observation bar, which was very cool, and were able to explore many parts of the ship, even though we got in late, probably around 8 pm. Would definitely go back!
Cons: The tours and museum type areas do close pretty early, so we were unable to access these as we got in later and had to take off in the morning. No breakfast, but we did eat at the expensive Starbucks on board.
Pros: I absolutely loved exploring! After being out Kate and freezing, it was so nice to come back to a warm and toasty room.
Cons: Wished I was able to stay longer. My suitcase was super heavy and I got a small blister from carrying it; I kept Hopi g that there would be someone with a cart around to help. It's ok though. A tour guide going through the hallway woke us up in the morning.
Pros: I loved the feel of the golden age of ocean liners onboard. My girlfriend and I decided to stay the night before our cruise on Carnival the next day, which is conveniently located next to the ship.
Cons: I wish more areas were open to guests such as the 1st class pool and grand ballroom.
Pros: I love the concept of The Old Ship and the stateroomsecond as well as it being right on the water.
Cons: The front desk staff was really rude. He just had an attitude the whole time and didn't want to accommodate us. We thought that we booked a room with two queens but it only had two twins and he was just very snobby about it. The rooms were very hot the air conditioner barely worked. I feel for the price it is not worth it. If they are charging over $200 a night, that's including tax, there needs to be a lot more luxury to the hotel. The toilet did not flush very well in the bathtub was uneven. It really needs a facelift.
Pros: The ship was a grand experience! Love the history lots of things to explore. The beds were comfortable! I liked the original fixtures in the room. I can only image the people long ago entering the rooms and using the ship! Food was good! We ate in The Chelsea Chowder House and Bar. Slightly priced but the food was excellent and service was outstanding!!!
Cons: Paying for the use of the WIFI And parking that seems odd to me because back east those items are free?!
Other thing drove nuts--the walls seemed to be paper thin the 3-women in the cabin next to us were so loud!! It was a joy when they left the room or went to sleep!!!!
However I understand that would not be an issue when the engines would be humming at sea!!
Pros: What I like is the history about the Ship and the Location. I understand that there is an investment proyevt to improve the condition of the ship, incluían Public Areas and Rooms. Great view from the Decks.
A lot of Potential to be a nice lace that was before. Get the Ship back in good shape and not just take advantage of the name! (This is for the Operators)
My room was M216
Cons: I did not like the conditions of the room. It was not clean! No mentioned in the reservation that will be inside room! Big difference! Items were really old and rusty mainly in the Bathroom! Shawrr door, one light bulb missing, the chain of the lock at entrance door broken, I went to get ice and the bucket had brown water with a plastic bag!! And the door of the Air Conditioning, which was above the bed was showing further prints All over in a white door!
The hotel should not rent this rooms anymore!
Pros: Unique and different. Good food although pricey as well. Lot's of things to do and see. Lot's of channels in room.
Cons: Bed a bit small... We went during a special event and spent extra for the winter "chill" event. avoid at all costs. totally overpriced for what you get. Most disappointing part of our trip.
Pros: Cool old ship.
Cons: It's old ship, so the rooms are a bit old and not exactly sparkling clean. But the real issue is the Dark Harbor, haunted house event that goes on in October. We were not informed till arriving that are room would be adjacent to this raucous event. From 7pm until 1 am in the morning, extremely loud music, screaming, grass breaking and roaring gas flame would shoot off. It's criminal that the Queen Mary would rent rooms next to this mess. Oh but the front desk gives out cheap ear plugs, so that makes it all better.... not. We were on our one year anniversary and needless to say, were extremely disappointed and frustrated,
The Queen Mary, once an ocean liner and now a hotel permanently docked in Long Beach Harbor, features a calendar of events that includes car shows, music festivals, and Halloween haunts each year.
Pros: The remodel has made the rooms and common spaces very appealing.
Cons: The elevator has a lot of scratches once you step inside and is off-putting - it needs to be replaced.
Pros: Stayed on a HHonors floor. Room service food was pretty good. Had some doubts because of some unfavorable reviews on a popular website but it was a good stay overall.
Cons: Lots of construction around hotel. Also going through renovations but had no problems with it.
Cons: Seriously, the ranking of Doubletree is a bit overrated
Pros: Friendliness of staff.
Cons: It was run down for the star rating.
Pros: Hotel clean, looks updated.
Cons: Only thing it was getting some water leaks from all the rain this weekend.
Cons: Carpeting,.... most places are of dark and gloomy color. For future renovation, please consider brighter, more sunny color and decorations.
Pros: free parking
Pros: If are planning to stay at this hotel you need to budget for paying for the Internet access, $3.00 for a small bottle of water. No frige or microwave in the room. I refused to pay for their Internet access, I found a public Hotspot but they blocked me.
Cons: They will try to make every penny they can from you. I will never stay at this hotel again. Every time you try to change the tv channel, it takes you back to their advertising channel and try to sell you a movie, very annoying.
Pros: I was dead sick for four days while I had to work 11 hours a day. When I got back to the hotel all I could do is sleep. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were stellar. The room was quiet and temp control was great.
Cons: All good.
Pros: Very friendly staff, great rooms
Pros: The concierge personnel are wonderful. The breakfast was superb!!!
Cons: There was a crack/hole on the bathroom shower wall. The bathtub was not so sparkly clean compared to all the other hotels I have stayed in over the years.
