Cons: Car should be maintained, especially in warm weather. Air condiitoning was not working correctly. Intitally it blew cold air but continued to get warmer finally blowing the same temperature as outside.

Pros: The return process was incredibly fast and easy!
Cons: It took 40 minutes after I arrived at the counter to get my rental car. 1 person was running 3 counters. After a long flight, I just wanted this to be a smooth and quick transaction so that I could be on my way. That just didn't happen.

Everything was great except...
Pros: It was easy getting the car and there were no issues whatsoever. Lady art e counter was very nice. Car was clean but did smell a little like smoke and had a stain on the back seat. That stuff didn't really bother me, though.
Cons: I got tricked into getting basic insurance coverage which was not my intention. I don't blame them for pushing it the way they did, but I wasn't prepared for it and got it without meaning to. Then I felt kinda dumb so I didn't ask them to take it off.

Pros: Loved having to rent a Nissan Altima. It made our drive so much more comfortable. Also, the process and customer service was easier and nicer than other companies. I'd go with Alamo again!
Cons: Prices change at their discretion and there is no complaints department. Had to seek the Better Business Bureau for assistance.

Pros: Very clean car.
Cons: Car had flat tire as soon as we left the airport. We had to put air in it to get it back to airport. Took it back and was told to go fill car up and he would exchange it and cost us $ 5.00 for going 5 miles . Had to drive this vehicle on an almost flat tire to get gas! Didn't get an economy car like we wanted. The other car was a 4x4 that got 20 miles per gallon. He said that was all he had available.A very aggravating experience for us. Shouldn't rent to you if they don't have the car you want available.

Cons: Car had smoke odor, which gave me a serious headache....had to drive with windows down in order to alleviate some of the smell during my trip.

Cons: The rental counter was empty when I arrived to pick up my car. The agent showed up 10 minutes uses late, spent another 10 minutes behind closed doors and when she finally came out to the counter, didn't even acknowledge me until she had spent another 10 minutes uses going through keys and paperwork. I was supposed to get my rental at 6, the agent didn't begin helping me until 6:30, I was the only person at the counter and has to wait 30 minutes to be helped because the agent was so late. Every time I tried calling customer service no one could help me they just kept telling me they would send the manager and email asking them to call me. Very poorly run location I was at.

Pros: The price was very good.
Cons: It was unsettling to get in a vehicle with a lot of scratches on the body and no inspection done. At drop-off, there was no one there to speak with, just had to drop the key and hope everything was OK. The vehicle was OK - nothing special, Still have not received the final invoice/bill yet and hope they did not add anything on.

Cons: They were not open when I arrived during business hours to pick up the car with my baby.
I had to go back the next day to pick up the car. I was "upgraded" to a Nissan rouge ( not an upgrade ) that smelled like cigarettes.
Not the best experience.

No Transfer from Local to One Way
Cons: THEY would not allow me to transfer from a local rental to the one way rental even hough we were overcharged at the local level. Added hassle of turning in the one to et the other.

Cons: Does not matter if you have enough to cover the cost of the rental 10 times over. Not credit card not rent.

Pros: They wont accept a debit card and nobody told me! So after a 30 min drive to come get the car and another 30 mins standing in line to find out you cant rent the car so you turn around and drive 30 mins back the other way. Was suppose to be at my hotel at 9:30pm and this caused me to not get in until almost midnight. Absolutely livid.
Cons: The first car I was assigned had a low air in the tire light on and I had to go back to the desk to change cars. And two days into the rental, the same thing happened to the car that I was driving. I filled the tire at the gas station, but that should be taken care of before renting the car

Pros: i think the car needed some transmission work.
Cons: It was very difficult finding how to open the gas cover door release. The AVIS rep didn't say anything. I had to Google how to so I could fill up the car. The release mechanism on the Nissan Versa is located under the dash near your knees so you don't see it. As opposed to being on the floor next to the trunk release or like the new models where you just push on the gas cover door and it opens.
