Cons: I picked up the car and the rental itself was fabulous.
Now my credit card has random charges on it and I cannot get in touch with customer service.
I cannot imagine what the charges must be:
The car was returned exactly how I picked it up.
I filled the tank up to where I picked it up. The agent said it was 3/4 but it actually was a little less.
And...I used my own EZ pass.

Cons: Car originally scheduled at 1 location, pick up time of vehicle was also closing time for this location, therefore could not get vehicle when needed at the scheduled location and had to drive 25 miles to the airport to get the car, was supposed to get a chevy instead got a ford with less than ideal gas mileage, rental was suppose to be $34/day for this economy car, rented for 3 days bill came out to over $200 (double what it should be), and thats after filling the tank for the return and without insurance. Tons of extra charges on the bill aside from taxes. Not as advertised; I do not recommend Hertz to anyone unless its an extreme emergency, you will be robbed of your money.

Cons: Rental Rep. had a so so attitude and the manager is not a nice person. Car smelled and was dirty upon rental.

No walk around, didn't get a full tank of gas, wrong mileage
Pros: Car got great gas mileage
Cons: -The vehicle wasn't washed
-Gas tank wasn't full when received, and I took a picture for proof
-No walkaround of the vehicle was conducted. I took pictures of dings and dents on the car in the Hertz parking lot before leaving
-Service rep had the mileage as 29000 on the paperwork. Car had 41000 miles when received
-Back hatch struts were broken. I had to hold the back hatch up when loading the trunk or it would fall on my head.

Cons: I called and asked about a ride home, which is 5 miles away and was told that they didnt do that anymore. I had to use Uber which was another problem in itself.

Cons: The front desk person was very rude and talked over me when I called for a ride to pick up the car. The outside of the car was filthy dirty. The windshield had bug splatter all over. I drove five miles home and parked it over night just to wake up to a flat tire. I didn't buy their insurance So i was screwed. I only needed this car while mine was having maintenance done. I only rented it for two days, to drive to work. Which I had to call out for one to fix the tire. I will never use Hertz again.

Car never provided and service adviser impressively rude
Cons: Having to rent last minute at much greater price from another company because my reservation could't be met
Rude service adviser who managed to be nearly as unhelpful as unpleasant
Asked to speak to a manager and was informed that no such person was available and was then provided with a (possibly fake?) number for the manager by the service adviser. No answer or return call.
Service adviser was Ayesha, Manager was supposedly "Mercedes" I never heard back from either regarding fulfilling my reservation and rented from another company

Pros: The selection of vehicles presented to me, the prompt friendly service from the young lady working that day. All and all was a excellent service
Cons: The confirmation states that the rental agency is "on airport" but in fact was not. The Enterprise location that is on the airport wouldn't honor the contract, but would rent me a vehicle for hundreds more than the agreed upon price. After a $60 cab ride across town to the [not really] "on airport" rental agency, we arrived to find their office closed at 2:00 pm on Saturday afternoon. Really? Who does that? Found a car available through Budget for the weekend (another $160 I hadn't planned to spend) and then called Enterprise the first thing Monday morning and they no longer had a car for me. This was by far the most frustrating car rental experience of my life, and I hope Enterprise and Kayak will respond to try to address this.
