Pros: This was our first time using Alamo and we were very happy with your service. When the attendant at the Washington National airport saw us with all our suitcases she went and got the car for us so we didn't have to carry our suitcases across the parking lot. Call prior to pick up to confirm all minute detail
Pros: Convenience of rental pickup at airport, and ease of drop-off procedures.
Cons: Couldn't pickup reserved car due to paying with Visa debit card. Specifically reserved an SUV, but couldn't get anything bigger than full size, which was too small for my 6'+ height, and a higher rate than reserved SUV. Retired USMC, disabled vet and on assignment as government official, yet could not rent a simple SUV due to traveling with only my debit card. Car was dirty on the outside as well.

Pros: Ease of pickup and dropoff, flexibility in car assignment relative to availability of class reserved.
Cons: Upgrade was provided from standard-class sedan to SUV, which was not ideal.

Easy pick up and drop off
Pros: Fast, efficient reservations and pick up was excellent
Cons: Drop off at Dulles was off site and somewhat confusing but other than that easy.

Just hope you don't have a problem!
Pros: The guy at DCA who rented us the car was very nice.
Cons: Our car's transmission died and Alamo told us to take a cab to the nearest airport to get a new car. We got a smaller car. They treated me as if I'd crashed the car or done something else wrong. No efforts have been made to reimburse us for the cab.

Pros: Nice clean car. Friendly staff.
Cons: Pickup spot was unclear. It might be easy to find when you arrive by flight, but it's a mess if someone's dropping you off. Address listed on confirmation email doesn't point to the actual location.

Pros: Loved the Vehicle...Customer service was excellent...made my family trip memorable. Will book again.
Cons: Had to pay with credit card ONLY...no Debit!!! But the lady serving us was very understand.

Good value, helpful staff
Pros: Pretty cheap at $55 a day. Staff were really helpful
When I was a few hours late dropping off. Car in good shape.
Pros: The staff was extremely nice, accommodating and professional. When I got stuck in traffic and was late getting back they were still in the office even though it was closing time and didn't charge me for an extra day.
I would definitely go back there again. The customer service was excellent!
Cons: The website said they opened at 7:30 am but no one answered the phone until 8:00 am when I called them for a pick up. Once I did reach them at 8, I was told that the driver didn't arrive until 8:30 am.
The car could have been cleaner. They ran it through some water and rinsed it off but you could tell in had not actually been washed.
Cons: A 50% mark up from one day to the next was unbelievable. If I could have moved my travel plans I would have.

Bad Hertz! Bad Hertz!
Cons: The wait for the car put me into a time crunch. The car that they brought was old and dirty, windows so dirty I didn't feel safe driving. The representative did apologize for the dirty car. The next day I was able to barely squeeze a few moments into my day to return the car for an exchange. Again, the wait was so long, I was time crunched again. The car this time was newer, reeked of cigarette smoke, had just over 1/2 a tank of gas, and had windshields so coated with smoke residue that I had to stop to buy some window cleaner. When I returned the car, the only adjustment they made was to waive the tax on the rental price.
