Cons:
The desk agent was less than friendly and I was told that the car I wanted wasn't available at the location I booked it and would have to go pick one up at the airport or wait 3-4 hours for one to arrive at the current location. Drove the 20 minutes (out of our way) to the airport to pick up a car. The car we received was filthy and smelled so bad we drove for the first 30 minutes with the windows down. Following our drop off- I received a bill for the gas for the car from the first location to the airport location- which I was not told I would be responsible for and seemed like since I was doing them a favor, should not have been charged. We were also charge $300 for something I can't figure out and when we call to talk to someone, we are disconnected or receive a busy signal. So frustrating!2.0 Mediocre

Was advised on day of vacation that our vehicle was not available. Call was disconnected by Gwen and then Kim @ Hertz Customer Service. Husband had to get a ride to the Hertz location in Corpus Christi TX to reach a human re: our situation. Customer Service Rep @ counter could not get our card to swipe correctly and said my husband could not have the car once he got there. Another person helped and swiped card on another credit card machine & rental was finally released to my husband. We have a special needs child and had not transportation until this matter was FINALLY resolved.Cons:
We reserved a rental 2 weeks prior - it needed to be ready upon our arrival. Customer service should not disconnect callers. Rep at Hertz counter was unfriendly.2.0 Mediocre

Scheduled online. When I arrived, there were no cars available, and I had to wait approximately an hour for a car. The car was clean on the outside, but the inside had some spills that weren't wiped up and smelled like marijuana. No after hours drop off instructions were provided, closed at 6:00.2.8 Mediocre

Picking the car and reservation was easy and the customer service woman was awesome, if I had warning on the deposit this would have been an amazing experienceCons:
There was lack of information online about there being a double your cost deposit so I went unprepared and I live 30 min from the nearest pick up. If it would have been posted online that you'll need double your total in a deposit I would have gotten things prepared with my credit card. Ended up not getting the rental and cancelling plans to see family I haven't seen in 7 years.10.0 Excellent
