Cons: The car wasn't at the location when we arrived. They told us it would be there in 20 minutes. The manager spoke extremely rudely to me, seemingly indignant that I dared to ask a question, when I asked them to explain why there was no car for our scheduled pick up time. Then, no one spoke to us until an hour later, when I asked them where the car was (they still didn't have an answer).
They repeatedly tried to pressure me to take a different car, even after I explained that I didn't feel comfortable driving such a vehicle. They offered not a single word or gesture of apology for the inconvenience. The delay caused us to miss some of our plans for the day.
Had we had any other option, we would have left the store, but we were stuck. I will never rent from this location again.
Pros: 2 things I liked - the employees were nice and the price was right. I waited about 20min to pick up the car - which I feel is pretty long for enterprise standards. The car was dirty - there was black tar spots on the outside (not a huge deal but should have tipped me off to the condition of the car overall) - inside there were food crumbs everywhere and it was rather dirty - I found the antenna in the floor on the back seat. Started driving, it was a focus - I know the transmission is tuned a little wonky for max fuel savings, and the transmission is slipping out of 2nd/3rd gear. Returned the car and the rental agent had an idea this car had a bad transmission - they gave me $10 off per day. Fine, but enterprise shouldn't be renting a car that's not running properly. Nice people but a pretty bad product, couldve easily been dealing with roadside assistance.
