Cons: The first car rented was dirty and smelled, took back and got another car which was damaged and smokey in the interior. I have rented other company's but looks like hertz is not reinvesting back into there cars. Would not rent again.

Cons: When we went to pick it up Saturday around 1pm they were closed. We never did pick it up.

Cons: No cruise control. Only 1 setting for intermittent wipers. Uncomfortable seats

Cons: Agent told us we were being upgraded from compact. The Yaris seemed like a downgrade.

Cons: 1) I had to wait as there were no representatives in the office at my pick-up time. 2) I topped off the gas, but it still did not read as full. There was NO WAY to put more gas, it was completely full. I will be watching to see if I am charged, and if so, I will contest it. 3) The drop off was not clearly marked for Hertz. The envelope for the keys was not for Hertz and had instructions about drop off which I followed. AFTER dropping off the keys in the door, I saw that there was another sign that had been obscured by a parked car that said there was another area to park the car. At this point, my keys were already dropped off so I could not move the car to that location. I feel that the Hertz rep should have mentioned the drop-off and warned me about the fact that it was a bit more complicated.

Cons: The Nissan Versa had a lag in power. It was okay, but slightly annoying.

Cons: This experience went from good to bad really quickly. I booked a car for pick up at 9:00 AM last week and arrived punctually. When I arrived, the car wasn’t ready yet and the staff member I was speaking to (who was very friendly, I must add) assured me that my car would be ready shortly. I ended up waiting for about a half an hour until they finally told me that my car was ready. I went out to have a look around it and the worker told me that the driver’s seat was a little bit wet considering that he had just washed it and that he’ll leave some towels in the car that I can sit on. From his description, I figured that it wouldn’t be a problem and that there was only minor wetness, thanked him and put my bags in the car to start on my way. Immediately as I sat down on the seat, wetness started soaking through the bottom of my pants. Knowing that I had a 90 minute dive ahead of me, this wasn’t going to be acceptable. I went in to the office and explained that it wouldn’t be possible for me to drive this car with a sopping wet seat and asked if they had a couple of bath towels that I could borrow instead (the towels they gave me were small, thin towels used for wiping windows). They didn’t have any other towels, but offered me a different car altogether, so we went out to do the necessary inspection on this other car. I’d like to add that two of the workers were talking about this specific car to each other earlier on in the office and one of them said that he had the understanding that the car shouldn’t be rented out and the other worker said that it should be fine. I asked the worker if this car was suitable for being rented out and she assured me that it was. Anyway, we walked around the car together to mark where the damages were. I was amazed to see how many imperfections this car had. There were dents or scratches literally on every side of the car. Not only that, but it was blatantly evident that a thief had tried breaking into the driver’s side door at some point considering that there was significant damage along the driver’s side door and in the doorframe. When I opened the door, I was in awe at how filthy the interior of the car was. There were significant stains on ALL seats of the car and looked like it hadn’t ever been cleaned before. Because I was already pressed for time, I reluctantly accepted the car and was out of the parking lot 45 minutes after I had arrived to pick my car up. As soon as I had left the parking lot, the digital gas gauge had already gone down one bar. Soon after that, I noticed that the car had alignment issues and constantly pulled to the right side. Overall, I had this car for 10 days total and had no pleasure in driving it. Upon returning the car to Hertz, I explained my dissatisfaction to them and the only response I received was a simple “sorry”. Needless to say, I certainly won’t be doing business with Hertz again, because, as their name suggest, doing business with them really Hertz.

Cons: I assumed they ran a shuttle to/from the airport. Wrong! Upon calling after landing, was told they weren't allowed to run a shuttle on airport property. So, had to take a taxi to/from their location. Extra cost subtracted somewhat form otherwise great rental price. The fact that shuttle was not available should have been made very clear on website.

Cons: excellent customer service

Cons: SiriusXM no activated, no auto trunk opener, no center console.

Cons: A little expensive for drivers under 25.
