Cons:
I reserved a full size SUV to move my son into college, when I went to pick up the car I was told they didn’t have any vehicles, the employee did finally find me a minivan which I had to go pick up at a location about 20 minutes away. That car reeked of smoke, but at that point I had no choice but to take the vehicle as I needed it early the next morning. I will never again rent from them2.0 Mediocre

The Staff was friendly and helpful. The New London branch accomodated my pick-up on Sunday morning in Groton since the Groton branch was closed on Sunday.Cons:

Pros:
I received call and text the day before to confirm my 10am pick up time. When I arrived at that time no one from Hertz was there. Person arrived 20 min later and then it took 20 more min to get the car. John (Mgr?) from Riverhead office promised 15% off. Haven't seen it yet.Cons:

The rental dealership gave away all the cars before I got there, and never had the courtesy to call me to let me know -- all because I didn't show up at an arbitrary pickup time. I will never -- underscore NEVER -- deal with Hertz again!5.2 Okay
