Pros: Really novel quirky hotel in central Copenhagen. The staff were really friendly and I liked the reception and bar/restaurant on the 7th floor with an outside area with good views over the city. The room itself was really comfortable and had some really good technology with the remote control mood lighting and a high quality sound system. The decor was quirky Scandi meets Japan pod style room which makes use of the space well. The bed was amazingly comfortable and a square shape so you could sleep anyway on it to save having to clamber over your partner when you need the loo during the night! Great job CitizenM Copenhagen! Love from CitizenA

Pros: This a really hotel to stay at, very easy self check-in but if you have any difficulties the staff is wright there to assist you. Very comfortable bed, it seems that it is standard all over citizenM hotels, rooms are patent clean and I am a fan of the showergel is offered in the bathroom. Location is great, walking distance to main sights and Tivoli.

Pros: Beautiful quiet location, lovely views, but walking distance to most things that we wanted to see and do. Our rooms were lovely, unfussy, cosy and with everything we could want - very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was great, masses of choice and a really nice area to sit. The staff were all very helpful, especially the concierge who helped us in advance with some excellent restaurant recommendations and bookings.

Pros: Friendly staff. Wonderful outdoor area to have a beer and a snack. Big, immaculate room.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning on a hot June night made it a bit hard to sleep with the windows and shades open. The sun comes up pretty darn early in June...

Pros: Front desk staff
Cons: The room was small, and the shower was poorly designed so it made a big mess every time it was used. Housekeeping didnt refill soap dispensers. Also electricity was turned off, and I had to go ask for it to be turned back on.

Pros: The location eight next to the train station
Cons: When we arrived after an overnight flight, feeling very tired, the hotel computer was down and we had to wait for a coup[e of hours in the lobby for it to be fixed.
The hotel should have made some sort of small gesture to compensate us for this.
Also the breakfast included thawed frozen fruit which had turned rancid one day. The next hotel in Bergen had FRESH fruit. like melon, cantaloupe and kiwi. was was cut up and delicious.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location across from Tivoli and train station, near main walking street.

Cons: There was not enough storage in the rooms. We had to stack all our clothes around. This is poor. We like to store clothing and accessories on hangers and folded in drawers. One day they left our dirty cups in the room, and didn’t make the bed and left a duster. They apologized and sorted it out immediately. The shower got the entire bathroom floor wet (common in Northern Europe). Could have done with more towels and more Nespresso pods so we didn’t have to keep asking.
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was awesome.
Cons: The towel I used in the AM looked like someone had previosly used it for toilet paper. Grossed me out. Not something you'd expect at a higher $ hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice big workout facility.
Cons:
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful corner room with spectacular view over Copenhagen city. Location.
Cons: Non-stylish lobby bar with horrible music didnt match the elegant modernist concept. Breakfast for 3 in the same bar at an uncomfortable low lounge table didn't at all meet our expectations (considering price paid) and the hotel breakfast crew could have a slightly friendlier attitude. Some hazzle checking in as well.

7.6 Good
Pros: Perfect location, right next to the University
Cons: Rooms for a hotel in this category are a bit spartan. The hotel is showing some wear and tear. Biggest problem was the noise. It was late September and the weather was not hot, not cold. The hotel had turned on the heat, despite my trying to turn it off. The heat was considerable. I opened the windows to get fresh air and keep the room bearable, but the street noise (all night) was incredibly loud. The hotel is right next to the University, so it was not a surprise as students come home from the bars (until 6am), but it led to a night of little sleep.

Pros:
Cons: My only dissatisfaction concerns the TV, which did not work properly. The image and sound was poor (constant disturbances) or outright miserable in all channels and, despite my several complaits to the reception and their promises to fix the problem, nothing happened during the five days of my stay. Not a big issue as such but still fairly annoying when a simple technology like the TV does not work as it should.

Pros: Great location within walking distance to Nyhavan and Metro. Decent neighbourhood with some shops and cafe around for a cup of coffee and pastries. Will probably stay there again if the price is right. Room size is good compares to other European hotel. Do ask for air-conditioned room when booking. Pros: Staff were all very nice in dealing with a poor hotel, facilities, and management. I do not fault the staff for the low quality of our stay.
Cons: We did not have the right room, but were moved to a room that resembled the one I booked. In the morning there was no water. No cold water, no hot water - no water. We were told we could shower in another room and given a key. Luckily, the water was restored, but only after hours of waiting. Do not stay here until all the construction is finished.

Cons: Would have preferred bathroom to have been behind a wall rather than glass sliding door as can hear person in bathroom. Our glass door was broken when we checked in and so were moved rooms very promptly, which was a real advantage as we got to see the switching on of Xmas lights from our balcony, which was great

I would not recommend staying at this hotel if individuals wish to have a nice hotel experience. My wife and I realized it was not worth staying at this hotel.
Cons: We did not like that the rooms were way too small. The rooms portrayed online and through the websites make the rooms appear bigger than they are. It was hard for my wife and I to move around and we only had backpacks with us.
The bathroom was another story and we hated it. The bathroom floor is literally one floor where you stand on which you shower, go bathroom, and use the mirror. The toilet holder was barely holding onto the wall and fell off a couple times and the towel holders were in the same condition.

Pros: facility and location
Cons: the hotel was not in full capacity in low season. the room given to us was all the way in the back next to the dumpster with utilities view. When requested a different room with a more decent view, received the same response of having no other room in the same category and requested higher price for a different room. My reservation was not cheap, and i don't think is fair to be in an unpleasant room when the hotel has available capacity to make its guests´stay pleasant.

Pros: Staff was great, let me check in earlier.
The bar in the lobby area has wine hour from 5-6.
Location is convenient to many restaurants and attractions in the city.
Cons: Have stayed there a few times and the rooms and bathrooms can vary from very small to oversized.
Can be a bit pricy.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was great, within easy walking distance of public transportation, restaurants, shopping, and many sights, including Tivoli Gardens.
Cons: The reception was poor (at best) as the woman behind the counter focused on another guest to the point of making them drinks (without acknowledging me), which she was still doing when another employee checked me in 20 minutes later. Getting to the room included a set of stairs difficult for someone with multiple sclerosis), and the uneven bathroom floor also felt treacherous for someone with MS. Outlets were hard to find and inconveniently placed. The room vaguely smelled of something not nice, and the hall was the same. Stale. The room cost far too much for such mediocrity.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast great. Staff always helpful. Perfect location.
Cons: The room was quite small but the threshold between bathroom and sleeping area quite high so easy to stub toe.
Water pressure very weak.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast food was great. Loved the Hotel decoration and location. Warm and cosy atmosphere.
Cons: Staff trying to sell us an upgrade in order to get our room earlier. Bathroom very cold compared to the room, couldn't keep the door open due to loud extractor.
4.2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: We received an email prior to checking in asking what time we would arrive . We explained 10 am due to leaving cruise ship they said no problem we will have your room ready . When we arrived they had no knowledge of letter and no room until late afternoon and a lobby full of people. They asked if they could put us in another hotel. We agreed. The location was not nearly as good . They double charged us for a room. It was hot . No hvac on top floor. Very dirty carpets and furniture. No wake up call as requested .

Cons:
4.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, interesting design
Cons: I made a reservation via Kayak for November 28th, and arrived from a trans-atlantic flight in the evening to prepare for a dinner at geranium. The lobby is a confused wine-bar/check-in hybrid and between serving drinks, and chatting with a friend the person at the desk told me after 10 minutes there was a problem with my reservation. After another 5 minutes she told me that due to issues with the online reservation agent the hotel had decided to no longer accept bookings and had cancelled my reservation. After approximately another 5 minutes of me trying to understand how this could have happened with a confirmed reservation and reservation number in hand, she told me that the online agent had been informed and that it was their responsibility to inform me - predictably this turned into a she-said/he-said with the online agent subsequently stating that no such conversation had occured. Finally another 5 minutes in, I prevailed upon the person at reception to call my favourite hotel in Copenhagen (which was supposed to be fully booked) and beg for a room. This was finally done and I left. Sadly I was forced to return and actually stay at sp34 due to a strong masochistic streak and a non-refundable booking made prior to my first dealings with them.
Sadly sp34 continued in what I can only describe as the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered in Europe. The check in again was confused. The hallways were frigid and the rooms cold. My room a deluxe double, apparently one step below their suite was exactly 11 feet by 15 feet and was tragically decorated in a style you could charitably call "Danish hipster" but which I would relabel nonsensical uncomfortable and bourgeois. The room was claustrophobic and looked out over the main street where at exactly 4:30 AM deliveries began and garbage was removed. The water pressure was poor the shower difficult to direct and the towels appeared to have been remade from recycled cardboard. Having to check out at 6:45 AM to make a flight I inquired since I had paid for a breakfast and thought it started at 6:30 if I could take something to go? Sadly by this point I was not surprised to hear that I would be charged 15 DKK for a danish and no rebate would be offered for uneaten breakfast.... I left not feeling hungry at all.
I would beg those of you who expect a contemporary tasteful danish hotel experience to stay ANYWHERE else. The sp34 may be in its infancy but I anticipate this hotel is never going to amount to more than mediocre service and offer pretentions to ill-defined danish cool.

Cons: This isn't really a dislike, just be aware the smaller rooms are REALLY small, if this is an issue, opt for one size larger

4.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, very close to historical center. Clean rooms, hotel overall and tidy comfortable bed. Price of the night was ok, around 13 Euros Lounge zone is warm, clean and cozy.
Cons: No kitchen included, not even a simple cattle to make a cup of tea or microwave for snacks. Only food you can buy is at bar and cafee, prices there are going to cost you another 2-3 nights at hotel which is crazy. Some travellers are doing low-budget trips... Shower had no simple bath cosmetics, also no free towel, you need to rent it for 3 euros, otherwise you can`t take a shower, never encountered anything like that before in any of hostels. My stay was dissapointing, i had to eat cold snacks and took a shower only because i asked another person for a spare towel.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: So much to do in this hotel. Bar, gaming etc.. highly recommended!
Cons: Shower could have been better
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and the facilities in the room, like USB ports and in the common areas, great touch!
Cons: didnt like the bathroom being a wet room, it meant after a shower, I had to trod in water to access the sink

Cons: I know that in Copenaghen prices are hight but i think the hostel should to do something more for their guest that want to park the car, they have a fantastic parking down the hostel but 5 euro per hour are really a lot of money and you should to pay 70 euro per day for the car, this is a crazy price.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I had asked to be put in a quiet room and they took care of it, the room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. I was in a six bed dormitory. Overall it was a good choice.
Cons: The room description said the beds had a privacy curtain, which was not the case. Also I didn't see a kitchen which is a bit strange.

Pros: The wine hour is a very nice thing!
Cons: I've always been very satisfied with Hotel Danmark but this time I was disappointed. The breakfast was very busy and staff was way too stressed and we felt like we were in their way.

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Breakfast good and extra choices available to order. Bunk room very good value.
Cons: If room had tea/coffee facilities it would be great. I think room description mentioned seating area so thought it might be a little bigger.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Some staff unfriendly / borderline rude, no toothpaste available if forgotten.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel location is excellent. The lobby area has a small bar which is nice for an evening aperitif while some days a DJ plays music in a low inviting sound. There are windows both in the room and the bathroom which you may open and let in fresh air. Value for money.
Cons: You need to be careful on the selection of the room cause some rooms are very small, like the room 101 which is very small and has a poor window view. Fruits at the breakfast should be a better quality and be served peeled. We didn't have any bad experience. Though not a luxurious staying, it's a comfort, clean, and cozy boutique hotel. Your investment will be well spent.

Pros: The food was excellent.
Everything was very clean.
Cons: The room was very hot specially in the afrernoon. I tried to take a nap a few times but it was imposible because the sun was hitting my bed. I went to the front desk to ask about the Air Conditioner and the guy there told me “the hotel does not have air conditioning”.
I think they do that to save electricity because there was an air conditioner control on the wall.
If they don’t have air conditioning they should say it before people book.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The bed was soft and comfy
Cons: Room lighting was VERY dim. Our room had not been updated and thebath belonged on a train.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good beds and silent. No noise from outside.
Cons: Our room was a little narrow. 20 cm from bed to chair by the desk. But rooms are different in size so I guess this doesnt apply all.

Pros: The location of this hotel was great. Two blocks from train station and Tivoli Gardens. Yes there was a strip club across the street but neighborhood was fine and safe. Excellent helpful staff and nice breakfast.
Cons: Can be a little noisy on the street. Get a room facing back. Expensive, but so is everything in Copenhagen. Paid more for a fancy high-rise hotel 20 minutes away but the location made this one much better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location & staff
Cons: Rooms are good, staff was excellent. Facilities can be better for the price - tea, coffee maker, not enough lighting in room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I love the location, the room is spacious and the breakfast spread was awesome. The lobby has such beautiful deco too
Cons: The room that we booked did not come with tea coffee facilities. So we had to pay rental for those

Pros: Location was great
Cons: Front desk was rude at check in. rooms were very small even by Europe standards and were also freezing. hallways were dingy and gross. we stayed in several 4 stars on this trip and this was easily the worst. 3 stars would've been generous, 4 is insane.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. Staff pleasant and rooms were very comfortable.
Cons: Elevators small and on check out had to wait a while trying to get cases down to lobby. Be sharp down for breakfast as was quite busy and everything cleared away by 10.30am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons:
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location was perfect & very close walking distance to the city center.
Cons: It was advertised as having 2 double beds in the room but the room Only had a single king bed & the room was very small & could not fit another cot bed. The phone in the room had no dial tone so we Couldn't call for extra towels & no technician to fix
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Did not like 2single beds instead of a double
Cons:
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast quality is good. Location is good.
Cons: 1) Our 'newly renovated' room was not that new at all. It looked heavily used (scratched floors, black joints between the bathroom tiles etc.). For a 4 star, superior room it was not quite good. 2) Breakfast area is way to crowded in the weekend.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - very close to the train station and to all the nice tourist attractions. We really enjoyed our stay at Imperial.
Cons: It is a bit noisy around the Hotel - but I dont think that is anything the Hotel could assist with, it is just because it is in such a lovely location.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and really helpful staff.
Cons: Needed more storage and more tea and coffees.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located, efficient staff.
Cons:
4.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Room not properly cleaned. Hotel furniture is of a 3 stars hotel
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was quiet
Cons: Shower saturated the bathroom floor , lighting poor in bedroom, lifts are hard to operate , only 2 small pillows , no drinking water in room
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location! Good checkout time. Easy registration. Courteous staff.
Cons: Threadbare places in carpeting in the hallways to our room; upholstered chairs in room could use a good cleaning and/or updating. The two main beds were overly springy, while the third bed, was hard as a board-a happy medium between the 2 would be good.

Pros: Great location in a very nice part of Copenhagen. A very nice hotel. Would stay there again and recommend it to my family and friends.
Cons: Room was a little small. Was listed as a 4 star hotel. I would give it 3 - 3-1/2 stars. At around $---- per night it a a fair price for the room.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was a nice size, with a door opening onto a green area. Nice bathroom. Free wifi. Was told it was an upgrade from my original booking. That makes me worried about what the intended room was like, since this is what I had expected.
Cons: Breakfast not included because I booked the room through kayak. Staff was not very friendly or helpful (because I was a "second class" guest?).
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were clean Location of the hotel is also good close to the city center and also to train station.
Cons: My room was on the ground floor and literally attached (maybe less than 5 meters away) to the train track. Which means each time a train passes you will hear and maybe feel it. Of course it was no were mentioned at the time of booking and it was a last minute surprise.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, spaciousness of the room
Cons: Breakfast could be better
6.0 Good
Pros: Convenience for travelling . It's right next to the train station, like right next to it. Also very close to "The Little Mermaid" statue and Malmo Sweden. The staff was very intelligent and helpful.
Cons: The Danish pride themselves on interior design with "hygge" or comfort. This hotel lacks that in all features, from the random missing ceiling panels to the individual lights (maybe 10-15 switches) in the rooms to the giant curtain covering ...a wall... This place needs updating. Nothing was that bad, but we stayed in nicer hostels in Copenhagen
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
The hotel was very clean.
I'd compare the size and feel of the room to a cabin on a cruise ship. Extremely basic.
The location was very good being across the street from train station.
Cons: Can be noisy because it's across the street from train station. Before booking, several reviews mentioned this, and suggested getting odd numbered room to be further from train, this helped some.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, nice welleqipped room, great service from well managed staff.
Cons: lacks warming in the bathroom and have a very complicated lightning system.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Staff, Lobby, comfortable rooms, within walking distance to the fortress and downtown, breakfast
Cons: Hotel is located literally right next to the train tracks. Half of the rooms (odd numbered) would be ok, since they are on the opposite side, but if you have an even numbered room, the trains will be passing within a few meters of your window at all hours of the night. The windows are also not insulated against the noise, so there is little chance you won't be woken up multiple times. The hotel provides earplugs for this, but still... Also, no air conditioning.
6.0 Good
Pros: Basic accommodation, handy if you need to hop on a train (right next to station).
Cons: Noisy due to location. Rooms were quite basic - you get what you pay for.
7.1 Good
Pros: Position perfect for traveling around. Room was big enough
Cons: It was not super clean
8.2 Excellent
Pros: right across from train station
perfecly silent in the room; no noise from the train station (really impressed by that)
the bed was very comfortable
the lobby felt up-scale
Cons: there was a tiny bit of mold/mildew in the grout in the shower (not a big deal)
the outlets and switches were not in convenient locations (not a big deal)

Cons: The building is really old. That’s nice in some ways but means the walls are thin. Children running down the corridors in the morning woke me up. Could hear people in the shower in the room above us. Not ideal but didn’t ruin the stay
6.7 Good
Pros: Very good breakfast, good food, great cosy atmosphere and the staff was friendly and fast. Location was good on top of Ströget and close to Tivoli
Cons: Very noisy, got woke up at 6 o’clock due to noice from the lobby sounded like there was a conference. Had a room facing the indoor atrium which made the noice higher at all times during the day. The room was very warm even though it’s winter. No AC or possibility to turn heat down.
