Pros: Vehicle was in good condition.
Cons: The larger vehicle I had reserved was not available when I arrived. It had been sent to Miami (for Superbowl). I had specifically reserved the extra large vehicle to transport groups of people. Had to make extra trips because my reservation was not kept.
Also... I left my jacket in the vehicle. Trying to contact lost and found seems near impossible. I pout a description and request in the on-line Lost and Found... but have heard nothing. I'm not sure if the different rental agencies talk to each other... when I arrived they issued the vehicle through Thrifty (not Dollar)... do they get the same request for Lost and Found?

Cons: She told me I needed to pay extra money for services I didn’t need. Way to expensive to rent a car for a common four hour trip. Never again
Cons: Customer service both at pickup and on the phone was terrible and down right rude. They didn’t have the car available that was reserved and upcharged us for another car. The service agent at the key west terminal was bombastic, and confrontational. She mocked my concerns and told me good luck with calling customer service (“they aren’t even in this country”). Customer service told me “no one in the entire company” could resolve the complaint, except for the agent at the facility, the same one causing the complaint. Would not rent from them again.
Got what I asked for, and a surprise
Pros: The car was made available to me earlier than reserved
Cons: I said it was OK if the car hadn't been cleaned but it smelled as though someone had been sick inside. No obvious signs of any sick, so I took it anyway. After 20 miles drive with open windows, the stench was gone
Vacation Trip
Pros: The car was good on gas and had more than enough room.
Cons: The car's steering was very bad. The steering wheel would catch or lock in place during driving. You had to pay attention to the car pulling to the right. When you tried to correct the steering, it would "Catch". Th steering wheel did this during the entire rental. I would have it checked before you rent it out again.
Felt right at home in my Dollar Car.
Pros: Drove well. Comfortable. Easy pick-up and return.
Cons: Cigarette lighter (for powering accessories) did not work.
Difficult to locate starter button behind steering wheel. Didn't like trunk opening procedure.
Pros: The car was clean, the gas tank was not full when picked up. There was an adjustment made. The air work well, plenty of room for everything. Pick up was easy, returning not as much, walking to and from garage to terminal. Thank its a small airport KW.
Cons: There was a empty beer can left in the consol between the driver and passenger. Please look everywhere for trash when cleaning. So glad no thought it was me who left it.
Made a reservation on Kayak, no car available
Pros: That I got a car at all
Cons: I made a reservation on Kayak and when I got there, there were no cars available for my reservation. They finally found one car left but I had to do an upgrade and pay double what I reserved. I had to take the car because I would have missed my flight at another airport if I didn't. I like Dollar, but this was a nerve wrecking experience and the computer should be able to talk to each other so this wouldn't happen, because it's 2017!
