Cons:The dollar station in Madrid Atocha station had no reservation from kayak and we therefore couldn't go on our planned trip. Calling dollar directly wasn't possible since it was of course outside the US business hours.

Cons:It was almost impossible to find the drop off at the Madrid Airport. The location was wrong on Apple Maps and there is very little signage.

Pros:Pick up was easy, friendly. Car was clean and well working.
Cons:I was charged 150 euros for a tiny speck in the windshield (the size of a pen point), There were no cracks, just a tiny speck. It's so small and unnoticeable that I doubt highly they are going to do anything to repair it. It seems I was being fined for not buying their insurance! (I have my own insurance coverage).

Cons:Difficult finding place to drop off due to lack of signage but drop off service was quick and effecient. Customer service at desk on day of pickup was less than friendly. Issues with the car : AC did not work ; non functioning left brake light ; tire pressure monitoring alarm kept going off when speed above 80 kph(we stopped and checked it twice).

Pros:Rented car for 17 day trip thru Central and Southwest Spain. Car worked very well. Everything in great mechanical condition. Averaged 31 mpg. Picked up in Madrid Atoche station which worked well.

Pros:Nice car, no issues, clean comfortable car.
Cons:I booked with Dollar but the rental was actually through Hertz (not the easiest realization when in a foreign country). The rental itself was 11 euros/day, but the insurance was hundreds more per day. Also, the drop-off process wasn't very intuitive.
