Frustrating. I ordered an midsized, they gave me an SUV and charged me an upgrade without telling me. The line was a mess to get the car and once I discovered their charge and disputed it the line took forever to resolve, almost missed my flight. Never again!Reviewed Aug 19 2025

Kayak advertised it as being in the SFO terminal, but never anything about needing to take a shuttle to an offsite location. That extra shuttle time made us late for our first winery visit, which was embarrassing for our group since their first experience was being turned away empty.Reviewed Mar 2 2025

It wasn’t clear at the time if booking that the rental facility was off the airport and required taking the train and then a shuttle. It is easily 20-30 minutes extra to picking any other rental from the rental car station. This information should be available upfront.Reviewed Jan 12 2025

Do not rent from Fox/Europcar at SFO. The shuttle to the off site rental took forever to show up, and then when I got there I waited in line for well over an hour despite having a reservation. They told me I’d have to fill it up before returning but once (finally !) on the road the tank was less than half full. Felt like an experience in a developing country….
