It was a fairly seamless process. The representative was very helpful. My only criticism is that I never received either via email or print the contract. This is not the fault of the representative. He attempted to print it and that failed. He also attempted to email it twice and never came through. I think Budget needs to make sure they are investing in their equipment. The sat nav in the Toyota we got was really bad. It kept directing us off the freeway, only to rejoin again at the same exit. It kept getting the wrong destination in Yosemite too. I wouldn't rent a Toyota again.Reviewed Oct 2 2023

we were given a huge van for 12 person. Was not what we rented .(we rented for 6 person) The front desk at San Francisco airport was extremely slow . Only one person attending . We had to wait 90 minute ,4am in te morning ! Next day we went to Oakland airport to change the originally category of car we rented . They gave us a model General Motors that did not have the chip to navégate . We decided to take it because we had meeting to attend and we have no more time to deal with this issue . Very disappointed with the car . The mirror ( retrovisores ) did not work properly . Was difficult to see the cars on the side . We call during the day to eliminate some charges like insurance . Hope they will respect this aspect . Also we wanted to be charge only the tolls used , not the fee of 250 dollars they charge us .
