My experience with Kayak was terrible. For the second time using Kayak, I was misled when I arrived at the car rental company’s counter. First, the car category in the company’s system was different from what I had purchased and had proof of. On top of that, the insurance wasn’t included. My Kayak reservation receipt didn’t mention anything about insurance. Unacceptable! In the end, I paid more than twice what I had originally agreed to. Truly disappointing!Reviewed May 17 2025

Loved the process. I check in while I was waiting for my baggage. Then went right to the car and drive away. The car was EXACTLY the one I signed up for. That’s rare! Drove beautifully. Plenty of room for my 3 kids over 6’4” and myself and all our large luggage. Super easy drop off. Will 100% recommend to anyone who asks!Reviewed Feb 15 2025

A smooth experience. When I didn't like the car and asked for a replacement, they didn't express any disapproval — instead, they supported me and suggested an another car which was great. The only drawback was nearly 40min wait in the line.Reviewed Sep 22 2024

They had me check in online, and then said I couldn't check in online as I bought through a voucher. Then said i couldn't pick out a car online, then stood in the LONG LONG line at the airport counter, at which point they messaged me to pick out a car online and they WOULD let me skip the line and go directly to my car (saving me at least 1 1/2 hrs.Reviewed Aug 1 2024

I liked that I could do everything on my phone, and that the drop off point was at my hotel. I did not like that the drop off point had limited hours with no drop box. I returned when they reopened but it took me a while to find the attendant.Reviewed May 31 2024
