This is a beautiful hotel. What we liked most was it's location - very central - walk out the door and you are right where you want to be!! I can not think of anything that we didn't like about the hotel.
The location is ideal The beds were very uncomfortable.
Staff were accommodating. They initially offered us a room with a view of the inside of the building (I would not call it a courtyard) and down many halls away from everything. When we requested another they gave us one on the 5th floor, street side with a bath tub. I did request these amenities beforehand, however, they tried to give us a substandard room. Is this because we booked through Booking.com?Need to be persistent. Location can't be beat. Hotel is beautiful.
They offer the best breakfast buffet in the morning, excellent selection of eggs, rolls, pastries, fruits, cheeses, cereal etc and hot american coffee. The breakfast room is nicely decorated and service prompt and friendly. A great way to start your day. The rooms are very clean, bar/lounge area looks newly decorated and a nice place to enjoy an evening cocktail. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
It was no rain, thanks.
location bathroom of the room was old and cold, not at the level of a 4 star
Great Location near the Duamo accompanied by good rooms and helpful staff
Hotel's position in the historical centre of Florence
The bubble bath was a welcome delight. The room decor was awesome! The basket of fruit was delicious. We just loved every mininute! The stay helped make our 25th wedding anniversary wonderful. Had difficulty illiminating the light fixtures in the sitting room. The light switch did not function properly. Had to ask the front desk for assistance.
Location was excellent. walked everywhere & many great restaurants & wine bars nearby. Staff was very accomodating & friendly Price was high but quality matched the price
location was amazing. it is on piazza del republica, walking distance to almost everywhere. that the internet connection and breakfast were not free. i understand that hotels charge for breakfast but seriously which hotel in the world today still charges 20 euro per day for internet. internet is everywhere and it should be given to clients free.
The location was excellent the service was good and the rooms were small but high tec
excellent friendly staff provided great service
Professional service, exceptionally resourceful/helpful Concierge Internet service very slow, no wireless
I liked every thing in the hotel. Some of the staff at the frontdesk are not friendly. Don't take the breakfast it cost around €30, eat out there are lot's of places to eat in around you.
Best location Location and the room
hotel's placement is perfect. hotel was good .
Beautiful modern rooms. We got two interconnecting rooms and they were very spacious. Hotel within walking distance to all the shops..
The best hotel in the world! No
Excellent staff, lovely clean rooms, very good bed, nice shower too
Location is very good (center of Florence's historic district, next to Santa Croce). Nice views from our room of Santa Croce. Historic building. Room was quite spacious for Italian standards. Free internet. Price was a little high. Cost of breakfast (not included) is 25 Euros. You need to walk some dark corridors and go up an elevator to walk from the lobby of the hotel to reception.
Staff is not as competent as expected. We asked for several recommendations and weren't directed to good places. We spent 4 nights there; on the last day I asked for a late checkout at 2 pm and was met with resistance. Meanwhile the hotel was relatively empty! For such a reputed establishment, extending the checkout shouldn't be such a big deal. Staff was rather disappointing.
Very poor conditions in the rooms. Poor bedding and pillows are very hard. The windows overlook the bustling street, so it is impossible to sleep at night. In the shower is growing mold.
The staff were friendly. A beautiful building in a good location. The breakfast at 25 euros is a rip-off!!!! - go somewhere else.
Location, the palace is really nice, fresh nice rooms, nice views on the city and surroundings. Corridor is noisy ( no carpets in the corridor ).Contemporary furniture in the common rooms is a bit cheap, one would expect a more opulent interior.
The porters were extremely helpful and the decor beautiful. I paid top dollar for a suite at Relais Santa Croce to make our stay in Florence special for our honeymoon. Although they were made aware it was our honeymoon prior to and upon arrival no effort was made by any of the staff to acknowledge this fact. From a five star hotel I expected at least a congratulations or welcome but felt we were just another guest to make money from.
Excellent service from an outstanding staff. We were completely satisfied !
It is an elegant hotel, and nicely located.
Location near the city center, some rooms have nice view Poor breakfast, very expensive parking (taking into account the expensive room rate), overall very expensive for services provided
good location as easy to walk to city centre, lovely surroundings. rooms large and airy, nice orginality to them .resturant is also good and breakfast lovely. no
Very pleasant hotel in a good location. Concierge very helpful when we tried to find out whether the airport was closed or not due to the volcanic cloud. Nice garden area but were unable to use this as it rained throughout our stay. Bathroom cramped and could be updated. Our room was next to the lift, which made a peculiar creaking noise throughout the night.
A small, quiet, luxury hotel near to the Swiss/British cemetry and bordering onto a public park (too often used by dog owners). Nice bar and public rooms and a small dining room - the garden restaurant was closed during our winter stay. The staff were extremely helpful. Although the hotel is located in a good quiet position - only 12 minutes walk from the cathedral, the walk into town passing grimy buildings covered in graffity was depressing. The best route is down the SW side of the park and then in along Via Pietrapiana that leads to Via del Corso.
the hotel is old one, and it miss a lot of facility that we usually find in 5 star hotel... Sona...etc. the room is not comfort enough compare to value.
their satff and cooperation if we ask about material that we need during pour stay. I would rated this hotel as two or three stars hotel maximum. I was decieved and shocked as it is rated as five stars hotel in internet web page. Room are stated for three occumpants in one bed room and beds just facing each others no roomto walk in between, bath room door with no lock?, small TV screen? It is absolulety does not worth the money we paid for the stay.
The bathroom tub was quite dirty, the lights had a constant problem, the staff was not very friendly.
Convenience to the tourist areas in Florence Access to wireless internet was only from the lobby area
Great locations, very good staff. Weak Internet signal (53%), which the Hotel believes is normal.
The reception staff The room it self
The desk staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Mirko. More regular (non decaf) coffee in the rooms would be nice No all day cafe or restaurant, drinks very very expensive compared to elswwhere, breakfast expensive too.
Great location. Very attentive staff. Good breakfast. Great view from the roof. Noise in the streets at night
The room was good (although no view) The hotel lacked services which I would have expected from a hotel charging this much (eg room service).
The Grand Hotel Cavour was in a great location to walk to the Duomo, Uffizi, Piazza Republica and many other attractions. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever seen. The breakfast is included and had something for any appitite including cappucino and expresso! Loved it there! The showers are a bit tight, the lighting was very low in the bathroom and the toilet paper was given out very sparingly. We bought our own.
This hotel is amazing! The location is perfect, as it is only a couple of minutes walk to the Duomo. The staff were super friendly. Our room and bathroom was clean and very modern (i.e. glass showers). The breakfast included a huge variety of foods (bacon, eggs etc) and there is a rooftop terrasse where you can eat breakfast or share a bottle of wine watching the sunset with an amazing view of Florence!! I definitely recommend this hotel!
Great location! Walking distance to all major attractions. Room was very spacious - with living area + bedroom. Rooftop terrace had an awesome view of the city. Large selection for breakfast. Although the rest of the bathroom was very clean, the shower had mold around the edges.
I am well travelled and I will honestly say that your hotel staff was one of the best! They were all so friendly and helpful. I stayed one night, then returned on my flight out because the service was that good. I'll definitely be back and would recommend your fabulous place! My first room only had 1 outlet in the bathroom.
Good location, nice rooms, friendly service bad sound proofing
Staff was exceptional- very friendly and willing to help! Hotel is in a good location and still very quiet! I felt very pampered
location no view. room too small
That it was in the heart of the city
Excellent location. Great views. Worth paying a little extra for an upgraded spacious room.
Location! Couldn't be a better spot in Florence.
The location was in the heart of Florence. The bathroom was small and got crowded when getting ready to go out in the morning.
Situation is ideal. Breakfast tasty but very badly organised.
Best location in the centre of Florence. Literally 2 minutes from Piazza delle Signorie, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Republica. Coin department store is next door and La Reniscente one block away. Mattress too soft.
Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Superb central location.
-Delicious breakfasts -Friendly staff that were incredibly helpful and kind -Very clean in the hotel -There was no way to control the temperature in the room. -Some musty smells -Recommended tourist-y restaurants -Toilet did not flush
The position of the hotel is excellent, you can go out shopping, sightseeing and come back drop things off and go out again.
Central location ideal for a short stay - you can walk to see most sights n/a
the staff was very helpful and pleasant and very attentive to your requests. Breakfast was very good. European style, but very good. We had a room with a river view and the view was beautiful. The room was quiet for sleeping and yet just a short distance away, there was much activity, nice restaurants and in the evening, near the Uffici and the Piazza Senioria (not sure of spelling) there was always a young musician playing music. It was very romantic. No, my experience was very positive.
Lovely hotel with helpful staff, catered to a more mature clientile
The hotel is lovely, large, well appointed rooms with a nice bathroom. The location is great, right on the Arno. It is a great value, and more of a 4 star than a 3 star hotel. Highly recommended. It would be nice if they included boiled eggs with breakfast rather than charging for them.
The hotel's location is excellent. You can walk to most of the popular tourist attractions. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was pleasant. The only thing unpleasant, was the room freshner smell. Opening the windows helped temporarily.
Staff were excellent - helpful, and charming. Location was superb, right next to the Uffizi gallery, and on the banks of the river. I liked the charm of the foyer area and the no-nonsense but well appointed facilites. I would definitely use the hotel again. A little more attention to lighting in the room (bulb not replaced, for example), plus non-slip shower flooring would reassure.
Hotel Balestri is conveniently located, very close to Uffizi Galleries, Ponte Vecchie, Museo Galileo, and many other attractions. It was very clean and the front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. The hotel doesn't have a bar, per se, but will serve customers from a limited alcohol menu.
The view from the room balcony over the river was breath-taking. Great location for site seeing.
The staff was always extremely helpful and fluent in several languages; the location on the Arno River just steps from the Ponte Vecchio was unbeatable; and the wonderful complimentary breakfast buffet every morning started my days off well. I can't wait to go back!
Lovely hotel, great location, very helpful staff, great breakfast room small by US standards, probably average for European hotels
The hotel staff was amazing. Rachel at the front desk helped us in every way. The rest of the front desk staff were all fantastic. The upgraded room was deeply thoughtful. I would recommend hotel very highly.
Myself and indeed all the members of my group enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a fantastic place, right at the heart of everything. No
The service adn the kindness of the staff. The location nothing
Staff, room service, breakfast, accommodations, but ask for extra pillows. Also, elevators are super slow, but do not despair as other facilities make up for it. Do not walk with luggage to hotel is the only holdback as streets are tough for luggage. Center to sightseeing. As the saying goes, "do not judge a book by its cover", as this hotel's small corner entrance does not do the interior justice. It is truly a **** hotel. No gimmick. Elevator
Great value. Great location. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very nice room!
Location in central Florence is perfect for exploring the city. Staff is helpful and attentive.
Everything!! Accommodations, location, charm, Comfort, Cleanliness & kind /helpful staff. Just perfect! Plus the amazing quality breakfast! Would stay there again & again!
I loved the location, stayed with my daughter and granddaughter, since my grandson is studying in Florence and has an apartmentacross the Arno. We felt extremely safe ande pampered by yourexcellent staff, and especially loved the bar on the 5th floor. There wasnothing I did not like.
Location was great, close to the main tourist sites. Distance from train station but it is only a short cab ride.
Perfect location, very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio. Beautiful room, with lots of luxurious little touches. The view I had was very good. I will forever enjoy the memory of opening my windows to listen to the sounds of Florence below. The rooftop bar was wonderful. The view from the top was great and the service from the bar staff was also top notch. Honestly, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Italy, and the biggest reason why is the staff. The cleaning staff keeps everything looking sharp and tidy. My room was spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with any request I made, helping me find a jewelry shop off Ponte Vecchio, getting taxis for me, making reservations and recommendations, and doing it all with a smile and in a very friendly manner. They are the shining jewel of this establishment. The only thing I can think of that wasn't absolutely perfect is the wifi range. In many places, I could only get two bars, but I could get three in many places as well, so this is a minor problem.
The location was perfect. The rooms were great and very spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very neat and clean. My only regret is that we didn't make more use of the rooftop bar and restaurant.
The location, the hotel staff, the comfort of the hotel, the breakfast, the 5th floor bar, the lobby for relaxing, the sandwich shop next door "Ino" no free wi-fi, that's it. Otherwise, it's perfect for visiting Florence.
Gorgeous, maybe one would call it old fashioned, but exceptionally well kept hotel, beautiful reception area, high ceilings, spacious comfortable rooms, superb staff, friendly and very available for every demand, supreme breakfast. This hotel will make your stay in Florence unforgettable, I'm positive of that! One of the truely great hotels of this world, and affordable as well.. Absolutely NOTHING!
Very well situated on walking distance of the city center. Limited breakfast buffet.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is an old hotel but it is very well maintained. the staff was superb, reception, bar, breakfast staff, all really helpful and smiley. I had a single room on the 4th floor with a balcony (magnificent view over the river). The room was very pleasant, not too spacious but more than enough for one person. the location is superb. walking distance to everything! Only a shower head in the bathroom of the single room (I got a glance of a double room and they do have baths instead of showers).
Assistance given by concierge in booking of taxi etc
Excellent location, staff welcoming and very helpful, confortable room with a wodnerful view!!! As before we found the quality of food provided at the restaurant (we had lunch on arrival and breakfast each day) was not of the standard expected.
We loved the view from our balcony. Staff made us feel very much at home.
Our room faced the river m, such a beautiful view. The room was nice & very clean. The concierge recommended some excellent restaurants. The street noise is loud at night, so either ask for a quiet room some where or bring ear plugs. The staff working the breakfast each morning could be a lot more friendly.
The Duplex room we booked was beautifully decorated, spacious with floor to ceiling doors opening to a glorious view over the Arno. Also, very tasty buffet breakfast. Reservation staff, in particular Silvia, were extremely helpful. Menu in restaurant was quite limited. A bit more seafood on the menu would have been nice. We arrived from Dublin at 4.15pm not having had any lunch. Full Room service didn't operate between 2 and 7pm when kitchen was closed. However, We did get a very tasty ham and cheese sandwich!
Good quiet location but within walking distance of all the main attractions. Spacious comfortable room with large balcony. Could do with a dressing table in the room. There is enough space. Restaurant on the expensive side.
convenient location, lovely hotel
Good location, room quiet, arty and quirky design, staff friendly, breakfast very good. Air conditioning did not work for three days, after repeated requests an engineer fixed the problem.Asked for a discount, they took the price of a bottle of water off the bill - 1 Euro ! Garage next door extremely pricey,no off street parking, suggest a cab or walk to the hotel.
The location was great. It was quiet and the room was big by most standards, but by Florentine standards, it was fabulous (205) The staff were thin on tha ground badly organised, I struggled to get more than 4 hangers in the wardrobe! Is the little things that make a big difference because they should be in place.
Very classy. Staff was extremely helpful. Locations was perfect. nothing! everything was great. If there is anything that might be chnaged a little is that the breakfast staff could be a bit more attnetive. This is a suggestion not a complaint.
We enjoyed the beautiful building and the location. I am sorry to say, but the staff was very unhelpful and very unfriendly. We stayed at a hotel in Rome called the Suite Hotel near the Piazza de Republico and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Your staff coud learn from this staff on the proper way to take care of guests.
Location is good. Close to Duomo, only few minutes walk away. we stayed in a room with my kids (4 people total) where we had enough space for each. Large room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, clean and quiet. Only breakfast is not enough. Price is little bit high buy all hotels in Florence are expensive though.
Clean and comfortable, Bar closed at 10pm and on one day it didn't open due to staff illness, whilst other staff seemed available but doing nothing.
Excellent breakfast A private function was held in the bar/reception area which meant hotel guests could not sit or have a drink that evening. We had to show our room passes to gain entry into the hotel.
Spacious and Comforable bedrooms and excellent lobby spaces. Comfortable Air Conditioning
the location was good and the design of the hotel was fantastic The big problem which would make me not stay here again was the noise from the street below - i couldnt get to sleep at all and the noise when on till well after 4am - I reccomend that the hotel use double glazing so when people stay in the hotel they dont have to sleep on the bathroom floor so they shut the noise out - or supply earplugs.
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. It is centrally situated to see all the key museums in Florence. The staff were very very helpful and always had a smile whatever the request. No
Check out person was rude, very unfriendy
The location was handy to many local attractions and places to eat. I thought the setting of the breakfast room was superb. It was a beautiful room with a great view out into the courtyard.. I was more than happy with my experience at the Monna Lisa.I was on the ground floor so I was not certain if there was an elevator, this could be a problem for some people and again I am not sure if this was mentio ned on your website.
We have had several opportunities to stay at the Mona Lisa and have never been disappointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the charm and accommodations of the hotel exceptional!
I loved my stay at the Monna Lisa. It is perfectly situated for anyone taking advantage of the many tourist destinations in town yet near the edge enough that you feel like you live there. The staff was magnificently friendly and the hotel was wonderfully appointed. Regina at the front desk was fantastic and even got me a rush ticket to the Accademia. Mil Grazie! I never write reviews, but the Monna Lisa deserves one!
The room was wonderful. Amazing antique furniture and art work. The location could not be better for a Florence sightseeing vacation. Breakfasts were excellent.
This hotel was chosen for its location in historic area of Firenze and ease of walking distance to the Duomo, Uffizi, museums, shops etc..Also it has its own parking; although it was quite difficult to enter with a large size car but that is the historic center of Firenze. The building is a 13 century palazzo with charming reception area, reading room and impressive breakfast room that served a delicious buffet style breakfast. The staff was very knowledgeable and spoke many languages. I had emailed the hotel for them to make reservations for ticket to the Uffizi on the day that I needed since they were unavailable online. The hotel did so with the same charge as the online site. Definitely will return to Monna Lisa and recommemd it to al One should ask for the interior courtyard facing rooms of the main building because of the traffic noise on Borgo Pinti or for the rooms overlooking the garden. We had 2 rooms changed and the staff was most accomodating to make our stay enjoyable. But beware of the mosquitoes even if the temperature is 14C! so don't open your windows at night.
Great location. Lovely premises. No.
very Italian with original art and has a beatiful gardin.Breakfast a bonus. Great location. Don't be folled
The hotel is an old palazzo and is absolutely stunning. The mattresses and pillow are too hard for today's taste. Even having softer pillows would help greatly. It was hard to sleep on such hard mattresses.
Very very nice hotel, nice staff, good location, relaxing... should be there when you are in Florance
I loved the hotel itself. I wanted a hotel with character and history and the public areas were just that. It was beautiful and felt old in a wonderfully historical way. Breakfast was fine and included breads and cereal mostly. The location was perfect, just a couple minutes to walk to the Duomo. Of course, the historical part of Florence is pretty small, so it was also easy to walk to any of the sights I wanted to see. The hotel and the room were also quiet. The staff also recommended an excellent restaurant that was just down the street and made a reservation for me (La Giostra). I reserved a Superior room and am just not sure that's what I actually got. My room was super small and in the annex building with a shower stall that was hard to move around in. Not at all sure there was anything "superior" about this room. I was hoping for a room with more character and history, something in the main building. I should have emailed prior to arriving and requested my room be in the main building. None the less, it was comfortable, if somewhat disappointing.
We had stayed at three hotels in different cities prior to our stay in Florence. All four of us agreed it was far superior to any other hotel we stayed in.
Great location. Just a few steps to Firenze's Doumo, museums, shops and nice restaurants. Helpful staff, fast laundry service!
The location was fantastic and the staff very friendly. the bed is like sleeping on a slab of concrete, the room had a perfect view of a brick wall and the breakfast was not good at all.
Good location. Confortable. Room was not clean. We stayed there for 3 days and they only changed towels, did not clean the room.
Clean, comfortable, nicely appointed rooms. Staff was efficient, straightforward and professional. Location was absolutely ideal for visiting Firenze and making the most of our stay there. Excellent breakfast buffet and accommodating restaurant staff. Even though we were on vacation, it was necessary for me to communicate via e-mail with my business colleagues from time to time. I would have appreciated wireless internet access in our room, not just in the lobby.
The hotel has a nice location, in the heart of the old city, on the vicinity of very important and historic places and monuments. Restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was clean and spacious... ... nevertheless the bathroom was a bit small and the amenities and facilities need a upgrading. I think the breakfast is a little limited for a **** hotel.
Convenience of location. Room smaller than expected and not much natural light.
Very convenient location. There are different rooms in this hotel. Why, like in many others, clients that booked through internet but pay full price have a second class room?
The staff of the hotel is not very friendly, besides the guy who operates the breakfast. Not the Italian hospitality we like so much
Staff responded very quickly when there was a problem with heating. Great location.
everything was satisfying no
Friendly staff and the location of the hotel. No - just the hairdryer.
Hotel River is a comfortable well situated hotel, putting just the right distance between you and central Florence, achieving relative peace and quiet while remaining within easy striking distance of all the main sights (The hotel is and particularly handy for Santa Croce). The hotel has some character (my room had a nice fresco on the ceiling and generally was nicely designed). On the whole the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and fluent in English which helped to develop a nice holiday atmosphere. Only a handful of rooms have a river view apparently but perhaps you wouldn’t want those because of noise from the road which runs in front of the river (Lugarno Zeccchi Vecchia). My room (facing into courtyard) was very quiet. The breakfast was very poor - stale rolls and terrible coffee (also yoghurts, toast and some not very appealing ham). It is not that difficult or expensive to provide good quality fresh bread, butter and coffee? Within the budget of a 3 star hotel this seems a very strange place to cut corners; it does not save much money and has quite a significant impact on customer satisfaction I imagine. Secondly I would like to ask the management what on earth do you think that loud piped music is achieving? It is not any style of music that I recognise and it was played at all times of day and night. I notice that other reviewers have mentioned this but it seems that no notice has been taken. If you hear this strange noise in your room, dial 9!
The staff were extremely cordial and well manered. They were always available with a helpful information when needed and accomodated our every request. The room was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable etc. We spent a lot of time in our room at night resting after a long days of sightseeing and really felt at home there. We liked that the hotel was away from the center. We were able to take a bus to the train station. On a return trip we are considering renting a car because the A1 is down the street and a car park around the corner.
Balcony on top floor. No kettle (tea/coffee) in the room. No mini bar. Check out time is too early, should make exceptions and not charge an extra day because you're late leaving.
Very comfortable room, nicely decorated. Quiet, friendly atmosphere, very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. Location of the hotel was good, situated in a pleasant riverside area of the city within reasonable walking distance of the centre
The hotel staffs were very nice, very good customer service. The bed quality isn't that good. I book for full size bed, but it turned out to be two twin size beds put together and I can feel the line in the middle. Their AC system will not turn on until summer I guess. On the night that I stayed in Florence it was hot and humid but there was no AC in the room. I had to open the window all night.
service at the front desk was great aside from getting up to take a early morning run only to find the doors locked because the guy at the front desk was sleeping in the reception area poor job of servicing rooms, did not replace empty soap bottles or used plastic cups
breakfast a little limited
staff friendly and helpful Good location on river away from all the bustle of centre although longish walk for disabled or unfit guests First room assigned was on lower ground floor and was dark Second room was on 1st floor and was good
Excellent staff, very imprressed with integrity as we left a camera in the lobby and the staff found it and kept it for us until we passed through Florence a week later on our way home
Why didn't a member of staff empty the ashtrays in the central courtyard, what a shame it was unkempt and grubby.
The location was fantastic - we could walk to everything. The breakfast was teriffic - good choice and plentiful. I think the bathroom showerstall could use better cleaning - too much mold for my liking. Just use a bleach solution in a spray bottle and leave it for a few minutes and it should rinse clean in no time!
The location is great, staff were helpful and the breakfast room was lovely.
Historic setting in central location Unfriendly breakfast service
This has an excellent location from check in to check out hotel & staff were fantastic had read some poor reviews on amother site and these are totally unjustified. We would have no hesitation in staying here again & again.
Central location and such a spacious room - we loved it! Staff, too were wonderful - friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again.
spacious room, friendly staff. quite different from the pictures on the web page, a little misleading. There is no lift, no staff available from 6 pm.
I have stayed twice. To me this hotel conveys a real feeling and appreciation of the beauty and taste and Florence. Also, the location is excellent. The hotel is small and has limited desk duty. This can be a problem if you are arriving or leaving late. They leave the desk at 19:00.
Beautiful rooms, very well kept, you really feel like staying in an Italian city palace, hideaway from the bussle of Florence, helpful staff, great tips on where to go and dine Just a tip: from the bookings website, we didnt realize it would be this gorgeous...
This was at one time a small palace. Each room had a different planet theme. The rooms were very clean, bathrooms were large and each room had a different scent that was sprayed in the room. The breakfast is served in the original kitchen. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the owner. This hotel is within a 10-20 minute walking distance to most shopping and sites.
Big special rooms with quiet and very good location.
