agent at the office couldn't change the hours or find a vehicle for me so I was forced to make a 2nd reservation. Experience was miserable and I received nothing just paid you for nothing. I will never rent a car through kayak again and wouldn't recommend you to others either.

KAYAK let me book a 530 pick up when the pick up location closed at 500. They gave away my car thinking I was a no show. Luckily the ppl at Hertz got me in a vehicle within a day or so, but I will never book through Kayak again. The Hertz side of the rental was Great.

I didn't like anything. You guys should be ashamed. A death in the family prevented us from taking our trip....not that anyone in your organization cares. Phone numbers provided went unanswered when dialed...then disconnected. You're only mandate appears to be making money at the expense of customers and making sure they get a total runaround when trying to salvage a horrific personal tragedy. Way to go Kayak. You made a couple hundred bucks on this one and you didn't even have to provide a service...way to go! I shall never use Kayak, or Hertz again for anything, and neither will my large extended family. I will implore as many people as I can influence not to use you.

Enterprise booked my reservation for noon on October 5. Their branch closed at noon. When I called at 11:45 to let them know that I would be a few minutes late as taking our luggage took longer than anticipated, they told me to try to switch my reservation to a different enterprise branch without making any calls for me or helping in any way. I contacted another branch who let me know that they were completely out of cars and wouldn’t be able to accommodate me. When I called back to the branch that I originally booked with around 12:05, I was greeted by an automated voicemail that told me that the branch was closed and to call back during normal business hours. I called back as soon as the branch opened the next day, and they let me know that they had cancelled my original reservation and that they wouldn’t be able to honor my initial rate. Very frustrating experience that left my family without a rental for > 24 hours and cost us a fortune in Ubers.

Minivan

The staff was very nice and tried to be accommodating. The first problem we encountered was the location was not at the airport where we thought it was. We had to take a long taxi ride for six of us to the second enterprise location, of course we had to pay for that. I traveled with my three daughters, my wife and my mother-in-law. We had a lot of luggage for our 10 day trip to Florida.. When we got there, we were told the minivan that we reserved was not available and they wanted to upgrade us into an SUV. That was not acceptable because it didn’t have the storage space for our luggage that the minivan would have. But we had no other option so we fit in the back as Much as we could and each family member had their carry on bag in their lap. The vehicle was not cleaned very well and the tank was empty.

Disappointing. The car broke down on the side of the highway 3.5 hours into a 14 hour drive. The roadside assistance department couldn’t come up with a solution any sooner than 6 hours of waiting on the roadside. I self-rescued and after securing a refund, Avis customer service did nothing to make up for the fact that their primary charter of renting a safe reliable car failed and had no compassion or interest in making up for the inconvenience and delays.

The inside of the windshield was absolutely filthy when I got the car. I mean REALLY bad. I had to stop at the store and buy glass wipes to clean it as I had trouble seeing through it when driving into the sun. The electric tailgate didn't work and would only open or close the gate part-way. Other than that the car was good.

The car windows i could barely see out of them. The car looked as if someone had sprayed the inside windows with cleaner and just left it, the overstay was everywhere. But Budget never misses with me. I will definitely use Budget again
