Very comfortable and chic room. Very clean and quiet. All over appearance of hotel is beautiful. I didn't like that there was no blanket on the bed it was just a sheet and bedspread which can be too hot sometimes. Also, cleaning staff came knocking at 9 am on a Saturday and check out wasn't til noon which was bothersome.
convenient location for my out of town relatives to stay for a family event A relative reported that the toilet in their room is clogged late at night. No staff came to resolve it, and instead, the staff, named Mehna, who was supposed to take care of it went home. My relatives were not even offered to be transferred to another room where the toilet is functional. They have to wait the following day for the matter to be resolved by another staff.
The staff was great and facilities were clean and comfortable Online advertisement made the hotel look like it had a great restaurant, but it was more like a fast food type environment with a small buffet type setup with very limited hours and no lunch served. This facility is geared more towards business functions and not family. My wife and I will definitely not be back here again for that very reason.
Had a broken coffee pot in the room. Asked for it to be replaced and it never was. Not very good service
Dog friendly and FRIENDLY staff No hot tub No double beds
The staff is uninterested in guests in my opinion. It is very clear this hotel has not been renovated yet like the other Sheratons. Perhaps it is largely a corporate clientele, given the lounge is not open on the weekends and such. Overall, if you can stay somewhere else, do so. See above
It was convienent and had free parking
Staff was polite and accomodating. The other guests were very loud at 3 am but that's not Sheraton's fault
The elevator on the left is the fastest elevator I've ever experienced in a hotel. My rate from booking.com didn't get properly transmitted to the hotel, and I had to take about half an hour to get it set straight, including calling booking.com and having them call the hotel. Not a huge problem, but kind of a hassle. :)
There were guests making a lot of noise security did nothing about it.Awake all night.
I loved the staff. they were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms where clean and nice. They had a pool, a really cold pool. Nice breakfast variety. Mattress was hard as hell. (Think sleeping on the floor) and we tried a few beds all the same. They over charged us and we had to get Kayak/Booking to fight them to fix it. No bathtubs, only showers.
The breakfast was first rate!
Although we had requested a pack and play for our toddler, the hotel did not have any. They neglected to let me know when I requested it so I could bring my own. Needless to say, we didn't get any rest that night since our toddler is not used to sleeping in a big bed.
One of the best that we have stayed in. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with any and all questions. The staff always had a smile for us when we saw them. The rooms were excellent. We really enjoyed the breakfasts that were offered on the first floor dining area. The TV had limited channels...I would have liked NESN and YES sports networks, which are offered in the area on the basic cable TV package. My wife loved the cookies that were put out the first day of our stay, but they were never out again during the next three days of our stay.
Nice location for visit to hartford and surrounding area. Very close to shopping and highway. Very nice room and very comfortable bed. Few negatives: hallways were freezing, no refrigerator in room
Very clean and quiet. Very friendly staff.

clean and spacious room really friendly staff good free breakfast with lots of options
Clean hotel and good breakfast I din't like the location of my room, adjacent to the exit door and inside stairwell. Very noisy.
The atmosphere and decor are up to date and comfortable. Staff is wonderfully friendly. Breakfast was great!
I love the size of the room the hotel also had great amenities There was nothing that I didn't like about the Hotel

Everyone was friendly, room was quite nice, nice breakfast including eggs vs just carbs. Nice lobby to spend time in. Very convenient to main road and lots of restaurants.
The bed was very comfortable. We loved the popcorn and tea. We had a very good experience!
Room is spacious and location When we came in room smell like rotten food probably from previous guest.
the hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and inviting
more like a budget suite hotel, instead of a corporate apartment. saggy mattress
Good choice for holiday visit. Close to friends and family. Convenient to shopping and highway.. Room was new and in great shape Front office staff receptionist very personable and friendly. Felt at home right away.
Fair priced clean comfortable When we arrived we were given a room with nor refrigerator told the desk and we were switched to a room with one.
close to the mall Looked as if homeless people where eating breakfast in the free breakfast area. No employee seemed to notice them. Didn't feel safe
I didn't like the fact that my incidental refund hasn't been reimburse! Especially checking in the hotel and the manager has my reservation mixed up and i ended up paying for. Then finally he realized that the room i booked was at a cheaper price.
$90 for a "motel". Really sorry breakfast offering.
Location was good for the area Hotel has an odd odor the hallway had a different odor from the room which smells like glue. Also had to pay a fee to have cooking utensils in the room which is why I chose that property. After being there I cancelled the rest of my stay & switched to a residence inn.
Nothing The hotel appeared to ok until I walked in. The guests were very rough in appearance. The parking lot was contested with tractor trailers, usually a sign of bad things happening inside. I noticed a heavy air freshener smell when I walked in. When I got to my room, it was very strong like they were trying to cover something up. I was exhausted from traveling and just wanted to go to sleep and without a cancellation policy, I decided to deal with it. The bathroom had such a strong perfume like smell that I kept the door shut. I didn't even shower!!! My clothes smelled of this for hours the next day. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will be reviewing this hotel on other sites as well. Stay away!!!!
The location was good and the staff was very nice. The walls were thin and we could hear the people next door, and also the people walking around in the room above us.
The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we were given popcorn when we checked in. There is a 50's diner theme to the eating area and an arcade with older games. My husband especially liked the arcade. The walls on our floor were decked out in car racing memorabilia. The hotel had more of a "home" feel than most. The room was clean and comfortable. The TV was an old huge tube TV and the cable wasn't working when we first got there. Maintenance came up quickly to fix it. We also got locked out of our safe but again maintenance was quick to come up and unlock it for us.
I had to take a huge liscencing test in Glastonbury, not wanting to spend more than $* I chose the supposed 3 star Econolodge. It was awful, the first thing I asked was if there was 24 hour security, I had to change rooms 3 times, first because I didn't have any of the amenities I was told I'd be provided with , second time because the internet didn't work (after arguing with the 'manager who told me I was lying cause his direct connection was working), and in the third room I didn't have an alarm clock but didn't feel like talking with the arrogant, unhelpful, rude manager/secretary/only person at the hotel. Oh and I had to clean all of the rooms I was in, I literally asked the 'maid service' for supplies and went to work, dead bugs, ashes, and hair, that stuff grosses me out. The icing on the cake was that I couldn't sleep all night.
I was supposed to have a room with 2 beds but there was only one. Also, the bathroom was broken and didn't close all the way. The room serves its purpose as a cheap last minute stay but don't expect anything comfortable. The wifi did not work.
I was worried when we arrived and they told us they had no hot water that night and tried to put us into a room with a smaller bed. However, they changed things immediately and the hot water was restored within the hour. It's an older motel with no frills, but is clean and very inexpensive and they do try to make things right for you. The free wireless isn't advertised -- make sure you ask for the login information!
Staff are rude and swear at you. Stale donuts and coffee. Will try change rates from what you book. Not pet friendly as stated on website. If you lock yourself out of room don't ask for another key or to be let in. You will get a hassle. During snow & ice storm they do not salt walkways or parking lot. The list goes on. Worst stay of my life. It was a nightmare.
We spent one night in a room in this motel for an important work the next day in Hartford location. Our overall experience was pretty bad, and I haven't ever stayed in a worse motel for that price (approx. $50/night). Here were the pain points:\n\n1. The bathroom door just wouldn't close. The latch/door knob was not working properly. We had to put a wedge as well as a trash can filled with water to keep it closed.\n2. We heard four heavy bangs on the wall (sharing with adjacent room) during the night. My initial thought was that bullets were going of, but was somehow able to convince my wife that we might be wrong.\n3. We could hear the TV from the adjacent room the whole night.\n4. Hot water took 20 min to start coming in the shower in the morning.\n5. In order to register these complaints, we went to the office to find absolutely no one there. The staff comes at about 7.30 AM but we had checked out before that.\n\nWe will never return to this motel.
Saving money is not all ways the most important thing. This place had leaky toilets, it was dark and dingy, it smelled of smoke even though I asked for a no smoking room. I would not stay here no matter how much money I save.
I booked this hotel because I had a conference to attend in Hartford. Though a little nervous because some of the reviews, I decided to book because MONEY is MONEY and a penny saved is definitely a penny earned in this economy. I got a room with a King Bed. It had Cable TV, a nice hot shower and free wireless and i paid $50.. I dont see how you can complain.. its not the Ritz and I am saving a lot of dough for the basics.. I would stay again and I would recommend this for anyone that is on a budget.. no, dont go here for your honeymoon but a quick night or two is just fine..
WE ARRIVED LATE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AND CHECK OUT EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. WE KEPY TRYING TO SWIPE THE CARD THEY GAVE US FOR OUR ROOM AND COME TO FIND OUT THEY GAVE US SOMEONE ELSE'S ROOM. THE PERSON THERE OPENS THE DOOR WONDERING WHY WE ARE TRYING TO GET IN! THEN WHEN THEY DO GIVE US A DIFFERENT ROOM, SOMEONE TRIED SWIPING THEIR KEY INTO OUR ROOM! THE STAFF APPARENTLY DID IT AGAIN TO US! IT WAS SCARY AND I FELT REALLY UNSAFE THE ENTIRE TIME. THAT ONE NIGHT THERE WAS A REAL NITEMARE. THE FRIDGE SMELLED ALSO! JUST SPEND A FEW EXTRA BUCKS AND GO ELSE WHERE...SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!
I had enough reward points for a free night. Never again. The room was dirty. Even though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale smoke. I was itchy the entire time. My guess is that they have bed bugs. So happy we arrived late and left early the next morning. Even for free it wasn't worth it.
We were put in a room with a light that didn't work, plugged into an outlet that was hanging out of the wall. My daughter almost immediately said that she was having difficulty breathing (she has asthma), and found mold in the bathroom. After some sleepless hours, I contacted the front desk, and they arranged a room change. The second room was much better - cleaner, better kept up, and my daughter noticed the air quality difference immediately. Everything was fine after that.
I stayed here for my visit to Trinity College in hartford.. the hotel is a great value and offers free high speed internet.. its basically a great place for someone on a budget (like me!).. clean rooms, friendly staff, basic amenities for me and the best of all FREE HIGH SPEED Internet! kept me entertained and busy during my whole stay..
this place was pretty nice..i came here for the concert at dodge theater and it was really convenient
