My second stay here. Love the biscuits and gravy at breakfast. My room was secure and clean. The desk staff were delightful. The shuttle from JFK to hotel really helped ease my travel woes. I was too exhausted to eat in the little bar, but my last stay the food was soooo good

The staff incorrectly charged me for the hotel even though it was prepaid. This caused me to have to call traveluro multiple times, and had to speak with the hotel manager about it. All of this was unnecessary and colored the stay as a negative.

The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Then it’s all downhill. No room service. The ‘Restaurant’ is very small. (Nothing like the hotel pictures). There was only one staff member serving behind the bar and she was not very friendly or helpful. Not want you want after a long journey! I called about a week prior to my arrival date and specifically told their front desk that I will need a quiet room on the higher floor. When I checked in, they gave me a room on the 5th floor near the elevators and ice-maker. The staff who checked me in refused to changed me to another room on a higher floor and explained that they had large groups of guests and were unable to change me to anothe...

Room did not have working AC and smelled really bad. The outlets they had next to the bed stopped working at some point and my phone wasn't charged the next day. The hot water randomly would randomly cut out while showering. Staff did upgrade my room for free though. I would not stay here for more than one night.

The hotel was nothing real special. A typical Hampton Inn with ok amenities. The staff was friendly enough. We were only there for a night to fly out of JFK. Hotels all over have gotten over priced so I try not to hold it against them but for around $300 for a night it wasn't anything special.
