Anonymous, Jan 2024 - Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Canal St. French Quarter
How can you not alert people that your hotel is under construction? To be woken up at 6 AM to construction on your own hotel was horrific. Extremely noisy and virtual constant. Beyond that, the lobby was very dirty and only one elevator worked. The staff was friendly, but I was very disappointed.

Hotel was really nice and staff was helpful. Came down for a weekend get away with hubby. I booked a junior suite with a king bed but was given a standard room with two doubles which made the sleeping arrangement a little hard. There was also no hot water in our room. Ordered room service, but found out after two hours of waiting that it’s actually just DoorDash from the burger restaurant down the...

Adam, Apr 2019 - Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Canal St. French Quarter
Cons (-) The place has cleanliness issue. It’s not filthy, but it needed to be a lot better. Fining other people’s hair and q-tips in the bathroom was not pleasant. The elevators were pretty run down (chipped off chunks of tile, mirrors on which the the reflective backing was worn out long before the hotel opened). The room was tiny and the windows had some dog brown gunk (tar?) splattered across the outsi...

Ellie, Jan 2019 - Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Canal St. French Quarter
Pros (+) The location is great and the staff was friendly.
Cons (-) I was disappointed when we got to the room. The room was tight and we were expecting a more luxurious bathroom. There was very little walking space with the king bed.
