The rooms and grounds were stunning and the staff were extremely efficient, polite and courteous.
The peaceful surroundings in a very populated area. No
The old world charm, but with modern service, but again the staff gave you the attention we used to get 30 years ago. well done!!
Staff very pleasant and helpful, beautiful setting
lovely gardens guest wing bathrooms were a bit shabby
The architecture; the driveway through trees; the gardens; the fresh veg./herbs homegrown; the dining room; the car parking; the breakfast; the clean bathroom; the feeling of security; the polite staff; the location. The stained carpet in 204 (can't you shampoo it?); the torn sofa; only one small soap bar; the fact that you encourage pets/dogs is a bit off putting; the dog dirt in the grounds (I got this on my shoe for the first time in 20 years!).
that i got an upgrade as there was a problem with room i was to have in first place... the first room the cistern had a overflow problem.... the other room curtains and valance was tatty and shower head had lime scale, also had to use fore escape to re enter as there was a do in the hall.
The staff are incredibly helpful and can;t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay! Bed was a little bit hard, but no bed is ever quite like home is it?!!
Breakfast. Very good food and service. Cold room
The location is just perfect. Staff are very friendly. We stayed in a Double Bed Room. Unfortunatley the beds were joint (2 Singles) It was not comfortable when you went in the middle.
Was initially charged for two rooms rather than the one room as requested. Call centre seemed clueless. Cost of one room refunded, and then told that a further £10 was payable for the room we had retained - with no explanation.
Staff couldn't be more helpful. No cafe's nearby as stated on website.
tv on wall to ask for iron and not enough toiletries
The cost and free parking are excellent value for money. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and locality to the tube The option to have breakfast was not apparent but local cafe's were more than adequate.
It was a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and quiet with a nice view of Harrow. The staff was polite and obliging. Full breakfast wasn't offered- just coffee, although we were aware of that when we booked it.
Excellent customer centered staff. Good parking and assistance with information. I have already passed on the details to other friends and family. None
All good For the cost of the room breakfast would have been nice
Clean room, big TV. Would probably stay there again as was cheap. Parking was difficult as not much parking space.
Quite clean own shower and toilet Refrigerator was broken air-condition very loud no breakfast nearby
Very clean and modern rooms
Excellent hotel/restaurant, fast check in/ departure. Good breakfast and bar facilities. Excellent travel facilities on the door step and local shops. Tv signal was distrupted occasionally (may be due to rail line so close.?) wanted a bath first night from travel had to go to shop to get bath cream first, free wifi would have been an advantage too.
Locality was great for us as we needed to attend the \st Marks hospital Bit noisey with trains. We had a disabled room and would have expected a shower cubicle rather than a shower a shower over the bath. Any one with a bad back would find it difficult to step into the bath The price "carrot" ie £29 is a joke. I tried several different times and could not get a cheaper rate than £82 !!! somewhat different to £29.
Staff very good and friendly, room ok but bathroom smells of urine, we stayed on the same floor last summer and the bathroom smelled of urine also. Would stay again as it is very central to where we usually travel to and friends but please sort out the smell in the bathroom
The Premier Inn was a very clean hotel, staff are very friendly, restuarant was amazing and very friendly and helpful THe noise from our bedroom (205) The room used to shake every time a train/tube past by...
Very great personal!
Large, modern clean room and bathroom, with bath and shower. The restaurant was also nice and could be accessed from the hotel without going outside. Some noise in the morning from the trains running at the back of the hotel.
I spent 1 night at the hotel for relaxation. It was peaceful and quiet.
Found room clean and comfortable.
close proximity to Wembley stadium
Facilities ok, But staff exceptional. Theye were professional and very helpful! None
Nice breakfast offered, not included in price of room. No transportation from airport when flight is delayed and gets into the airport after midnight. Only taxis at a cost.
Comfortable bed, quiet, complimentary drink on arrival. No coffee maker.
Located across from Heathrow property with free shuttle (city bus) to the hotel front door. Quiet comfortable bedroom. Great breakfast ($15). Good service. Not very close to local restaurants. 20 minute (easy) walk to closest pub (The White Horse). Cannot exchange currency at hotel. ATM located in convenience store 10 minutes away.
First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.
The food was great, and the service terrific too. Doors a bit scratched up.
the strict minimum!! 14 GBP for wifi
Close to the airport. Elegant in its own way. The rooms are a bit small.
Close to the airport The rooms was far too hot.
Relatively clean I chose the hotel because of its supposedly superior pool and fitness room, but they closed right after I arrived. Why would an airport hotel close its facilities at night?
Close to the international airport with easy access to cheap shuttle bus service. Rooms were clean and heating/cooling easily adjusted. Staff were friendly and good with children. A good menu for kids. Rooms are very small, even for overnight stay. There is no lift so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs which is back breaking if your traveling overseas with a large load. They claim to be 4 star which is a bit of a joke... More like 2 1/2 to 3 mainly due to the fact it is dated (looking worn), lack of lifts to upper levels and lacking 4 star facilities. WiFi was a bit dear. Most places in this pricerange where we stayed offered free WiFi.
Slick check in, very clean and comfortable
Reasonably priced, comfortable, very close to Heathrow No complaints, would stay again.
Nothing decor very tired, noisy
close to the airport for our departure home the next day cost means to make our own coffee and tea mini refrigerator nice sized bathroom had to walk along way down a hallway to access an elevator to the 2nd floor and then had to walk back down another long hallway there was urine in the toilet in our "clean" hotel room and the TV was all ready on - it left us wondering if our room had really been cleaned no extra pillows or blankets
The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly, but something need to be done for the check in and check out front liners. We checked in on 25 \nov 2010, arriving about 10 pm plus from Paris enroute to scotland, the check I staff was not very friendly. We checkd out early morning on 26 nov 2010, the check out staff was also not friendly. A simple eye contact would have been helpful for the hotel management.
Very convenient, great location to airport
My wife needed to see a GP and they quickly called one out for us. They were very helpful.
The convenient possision, the room was very quiet, no airport noice. The bar area not very acceptable for eating a light meal
Brand new, lovely hotel and a superb Garden Inn. Comfortable and crispy clean. Nice staff at the bar and check in. Easy access from Hatton Cross Tube stop. Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.
clean and comfortable
The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food is great at reasonable prices, everything looks smart and well organised. it is right next to the tube station which was convenient. The rates are low and you get much more than you expected for this sort of price. the breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Basically I would use this hotel again if I am in the area – very pleasant stay.
Returning to the US from a European trip, we needed to transfer from London Gatwick to London Heathrow late at night, and then depart the next morning from London Heathrow. The Hilton Garden Inn was ideal. It is located close to Terminal 4, and gave us a good place to stay for the night. Staff are very helpful. I can't think of anything
location for airport
Location The hotel was very noisy and the housekeeping staff kept slamming doors keeping us up. In addition we asked a server about the menu and she rudely told us to ask someone else and walked off.
More for convenience,as I have to catch early flight. Proximity to the tube is the other plus points. none
Checkin was quick. Food at the bar was good (see also what I did not like) I picked the hotel because of the name, I stayed in excellent Jury's Inss before, also because it was (said to be) close to the underground & heathrow, Only at the exit there was no indication where the hotel was located, and the hotel was not visible. So I had to ask around, before finding the hotel. It was a bit farther away than described. At check-in they told me the restaurant would be open until 22h30, and gave me a key-card for my room that did not work. When coming back down to the restaurant I was told it closed early, so I had to go to the (overflowing) bar, and had to wait to get a seat. My room was close the the elevators, and poorly insulated, and I heard the elevators moving up and down, and stopping at my floor all night.
The bed was inviting and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely! I didn't have a computer with me so was grateful I could come in free of charge to write an email. There was nothing I didn't like.
The food is outstanding! Not enough towels to control the flood from the shower.
Hotel, breakfast, staff. Location
It was modern, had a pool and sauna. I did not like the location. If I'm to go to London next time, I'll make sure to get a hotel right in the city. This one was way away, so we wasted time commuting every day.
Very nice. The staff went absolutely above and beyond for us. I chose the location, but it was farther from downtown than I wanted. Hardly the hotel's fault.
The hotel is relatively new. Shower:no water pressure, and water changes from cold to extremely hot all the time.
Great service. Reasonable food prices. About 5-10 minutes walking distance from the tube/train. Very convenient. Just a couple of walking minutes from a mall. About 15min driving distance from downtown/major tourist atractions. Wish it was right in the heart of downtown/major tourist attractions, but it was really close to the tube. Sometimes hard to park downtown anyway for over 2 hours.
Great location. Great staff. Best hotel experience.
Friendl staff, large rooms, plentiful breakfast options The last day we were there the a/c was releasing a horrible smell.
Clean room and nice view from the bar. Quick checkin Service and breakfast was very average. Nothing special
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
NOT MUCH READ BELOW Stayed in Hotel, When arrived no Cot as requested, Took 2 hours to get one, Power cut caused Mayhem. My wife is pregnant nearly fell in corridor as no emergency lighting. Also stuck in our rooms 5th Floor, no TV's as no signal. The lifts were down as well
All staff were friendly & accommodating. Our flight was early, and we arrived at hotel before check-in time. The manager/bellhop were very accommodating, helped take care of luggage & help us relax. After a long overseas flight, this was so appreciated.
Spacious room by London standards. Very comfortable. Easy access to underground and rail. Expensive restaurant.
The rooms are quite spacious and always kept clean. Most of the dislikes were my personal ones: the tube was not working but the city provided assistance to bus; late nights seemed pretty lonely and quiet for an arena area--no sports bars or late night shops Oh,
The front desk manager was great. Very friendly and knows how to do her job. Hotel was great. Very close to Wembley Stadium.
Our stay could not be faulted, location, room, facilities, breakfast all excellent. Venue minutes walk for the concert and public transport make city easily accessed for visit Nothing
excellent location for our needs
Nice hotel in easy reach of wembley, staff very curteous and friendly. Would recommend to others and stay in this hotel again.
Was attending a concert and was very close to venue .
Location. Checkout time of 12 noon was more convenient than some other places, where it is 11 am. The lifts, corridors could do with renovation. The rooms also were poorly ventilated.
Closeness to Wembley Stadium. 1) Having to pay £10 to park my car in the basement. 2)The only tea supplied in the room was Earl Gray. I don't like the same and would prefer Engish Breafast tea. 3) The room was hot and the only way to cool it down was to open the window which let in the noise. 4) Had to pay extra to eat dinner between 17:00 and 19:30hrs.
The queen size bed was very comfortable. it was very 70's decor and had an extremely small bath. The hotel staff did exceed themselves though by tracking me down some hot chocolate powder for my daughter but the price I paid I thought a sachet would have been standard in the room - which it wasn't. Also the window only opened a fraction (5inches or so) and no air con.
bed was very comfortable room was next to lift shaft and very very noisy during night
location for wembley arena and stadium perfect. Pleasent and very helpful staff
That it was central to where I wanted to visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Location State of repair/decor. Food---terrible !!! Seemed cheap for a Marriott --now understand why.
Location Service in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.
Executive lounge small room.
Comfortable room and fast internet and ease of taking the public bus system 5 minutes to the terminal cannot be beat. Hair in the bathroom and in the tea cup suggested it did not get cleaned well, and about a 45" wait to get checked in made the stay less than ideal. Both are probably one-off issues though based upon reviews available.
Location, lounge 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money
Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.
Staff attention to detail, quality of room and location
Quite up to date Small room
Room is Comfortable and modern. Lobby and pub/bar very spacious and comfortable. Endless corridors and small rooms for such a huge hotel.
Close to airport, clean and upgraded rooms. Dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet was great.
Location This hotel is old and not very clean. I am surprised that Marriott has let this hotel go this far in dis-repair. Not worth 200 USD a night.
What a great location. As a weary traveler it's nice when everything goes smoothly. Staff was very accommodating .
Comfortable, clean hotel. No real complaint about the hotel itself but it could be better signposted from heathrow/M4 and the junction
Location adjacent to M4 -good for connection to London but tube connection better than bus routes. High taxi fares in the locality because of this High taxi fares-charged £28 for 7 mile trip.
clean, modern and comfortable
Convenient for our touring itinery.
The food at the restaurant was excellent - a fantastic meal.
Extremely polite and service-oriented staff. Convenient location. Good value. Flexibility in accomodating a family of four in one room, a rarity in Europe.
Good service and a decent room. Free wifi. Overall, I was there for 2 days before I left England so it served its purpose. Check in was supposed to be at 2 pm. I got there around 3:30 and still had to wait about 15 minutes before getting my key.
Location of hotel, which allowed quiet ambient atmosphere during the short stay
The staff were polite, helpful, and unobtrusive. Also they were well turned out. The evening meal could have been better, however the full breakfast was excellent
The staff in reception is really rough, especially some guy from indian or middle east, ask the staff to let me join the novotel club for 3 times, but he did not anything and lie to me.
The staff were very good. Public areas ofthe hotel a bit tatty but the rooms excelent.
It was totally fine for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. The pull out couch was actually more comfortable than the beds themselves. The air-con did not work in our room and they gave us a small fan to rectify the situation. The front desk staff was also very helpful on the phone, but never followed through with the requests we made.
This is boutique quality hotel with new amenities, at an amazingly low price. They do this, by offering small, but very nice, rooms with single beds. Its about a 10-12 min walk from the Hounslow East Metro station (4 stops from Heathrow), which isn't actually that bad. Fare is 1.5£, taxi is 20£ or so. (Turn right when you exit Hounslow East.)
We took a family room and there was 2 single and and 1 double bed which accommodated 3 adults and 2 year old twin boys. No sufficient heating. The heater never switched on and when asked the hotel owner, he said 'why did not you complain earlier?' and switched on the mains. I do not understand why did he switched off the mains in the first place !
The breakfast was brilliant and the service was great! Friendly staff and Agbur was a top manager. The room was a bit small. The furniture was a bit old too!!
Clean properly facilitated room.Small hotels rooms in London could be really small but this hotel managed to put tea-coffea,radio,tv small fridge, fan and iron+board when I asked for one.Location is little far but doesnt matter anywhere in and around London will take you 30-40 min to get where you want anyway.Quite town of Harrow dont offer much. Great value for the money for budget minded people. Breakfast could be included in the price.
staff were always approachable if we required any assistance we also liked the flexability of allowing ourselves in and out of our accomodation
quiet location, friendly, helpful staff bathroom rather small
Friendly place, rooms characterful and very comfortable. We needed parking and easy access to the underground, this suited perfectly.
The English breakfast!
easy access to transportation. "harrow on the hill" station has underground, buses, overground, natnlk rail. . Stairs to second floor are very narrow for luggage larger than " carry-on".. May-be tricky for senior citizens.
Clean, cozy, comfortable and convinient. Good for those, who want to save money and sleep in cleen, warm bed.
The hotel was easy to find from the motorway and is in a good location for other transport facilities aswell. It is also in a good location for resturaunts / shopping etc. I felt the single rooms were just a little too small if you were going to be staying more than a weekend, apart from that, fantastic.
Very good service, nice staff. Good breakfast. Clean. Far
The breakfast was very good, and the staff went out of their way to assist my friend and I to find directions to our destination. Rooms were not cleaned during our visit.
Location was ideal and value for money Shower was bit basic and not sure if bathroom water fit to drink
Friendliness and attention of the staff Low water pressure in the wash hand basin and too far from Central London. However very good shopping centre a few minutes walk away
Staff very helpful, bed linen changed and very clean, very good situ close to town centre and tube station link. Breakfast fairly good, overall good. Nothing, it was all fine.
Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful Lack of a bar
Very good location, near to tube station, shopping center and Tesco, clean rooms, tv
Price Door bell going off at all times during the night
Clean and reasonably comfortable, staff were polite and very helpful, good value for money easy access to city via tube Only a 1 hour slot for breakfast 0730 till 0830! Not very good if your on a leisure trip
Clean, silent, comfortable Difficult to get in the hotel, doors were locked, nobody answered the door bell, phone number taped on the door did not answer. The lady in the breakfast would not help ordering the taxe, but asked me to call myself.
The room and en-suite were clean. Room very small - Couldn't walk round the double bed
Good apart from the lack of parking space which was an essential element in the booking
Price and quality of room Had to phone to get in and being told we were too late for cooked breakfast when we arrived 20' before 'last orders'
Ffriendliness of staff and nic eposition on Harrow on the Hill It was fine
reasonable size room with complimentary hot drinks and biscuits, clean and comfortable, sky tv and good continental breakfast restaurant is expensive but pub with food round the corner
Nice airy room (hot - but they did provide a fan) very clean room. Fruit, water, biscuits as well as tea and coffee in the room. Requested non-smoking room and that is what we got. Excellent continental breakfast.
the hotel was excellent the accommodation was excellent and the staff were suberb. the veiw over london was fantastic.
Nice manager who moved us to a triple room from 2 doubles as we were a party of 3 not 4 saving us money. the online reservation didnt allow us to enter 3 persons for 2 rooms. The rooms were stocked with candy bars and cookies, fruit juice, coffe/tea all complimentary and rooms were warm. The restaurant served excellent food - we had our dinner there and every course was good. We felt the breakfast was a bit of a let down after the excellent food served in the restaurant. It is a buffet but the croissants were cold and tasted like they came from a big supermarket bag. Coffee was not a nice perc coffee - tasted like instant. Small changes could have made a big difference here.
The views from the hotel room. Walls were a bit thin. Could here alot what was going on outside in the halls and surrounding rooms.
Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible
Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.
The room was clean and spacious. Check in staff was unwelcoming. Almost was given a smoking room until I complained. Breakfast was expensive and did not live up to the price. The location is far away from the airport and suited to business travelers. Will not book a room at this hotel again.
Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow! Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.
We requested non-smoking and breakfast, but it didn't arrange. We waited many time for check-in and check-out.
Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
Proximity to Heathrow airport. Quiet. Brilliant breakfast.
The assistance of your staff.Did not like being charged £9.00 for taxi to Terminal one as I thought £4.00 was figure mentioned by your staff.Patrick Madden.
The room was large, comfortable, and well apportioned in terms of what it contained (TVs, tea and coffee amenities, iron, etc). The convenience to the airport is stellar, and the amenities within the hotel (bars, restaurants, gym) are good. Staff was very friendly. The room was weird. There weren't any outlets near the bed, which doesn't make any sense because it meant there wasn't an alarm clock and also you couldn't plug your phone in by the bed to be an alarm clock. Also, not having a free shuttle to the airport seems usurious.
Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow. Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes, the receptionist made a new reservation, and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
It was equiped with a very nice staff no breakfast deal in a quite handsome amount of money
Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25 For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
Hotel heating was stuck on full and the room was extremely warm, the road noise made it impossible to leave the window open, the shower mixer knob was broken and the shower head wouldnt direct over the bath due to worn fitting.
Was given the smallest of rooms, with bed sided by wall. There was no light on the desk, and the single light in the bedroom hall was not sufficient. For th price of the rooms they could offer internet for free. Carpets were durty and smelly all over the hotel. This hotel would certainly do with a massive refurbishment.
The hotel was convenient to the event we were visiting (Patchetts equestrian Centre). I was impressed with the comfort of the beds!breakfast was excellent and the bar was good. My husband visited the pool area and found it good Ok. This is not about us, but what we witnessed and overheard whilst checking in. Another customer was complaining about a charge on his room, when he had not bought anything. It was explained that this was in case he used something like room service etc or made any charges on his room. The customer did not understand, and I am afraid that the male receptionist argued with him and it got very heated. Please remind whomever it was that the customer is always right and just say I am sorry. The charge was taken off but the customer was very upset and quite rightly. We were also charged but our female receptionist explained it well......
I liked the look of the hotel. The friendlyness of the staff holding doors and generally being polite. A+ I stuggled to understand the accent of the front desk workers. We got lost in the hotel a few times, not enough signs from the stairs + lifts to the front desk.
The restaurant staff were outstanding, warm & friendly, and genuinely eager to serve. The dinner was also good value for 17 pounds, and the breakfast was superb. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed drinking our bottle of wine after dinner in the garden patio. The room was so hot, it was almost impossible to sleep. Never stayed at a Hilton anywhere in the world that didn't have ac. And the parking lot and street outside were very noisy, with a lot of screeching tires and gunning motors. The wireless provided by bt is also greatly over-priced.
Room very good, breakfast very good Wrong price charged at checkin, but corrected on production of paperwork.....bar prices very high, no bar snacks, no draught beer, no ice. There was a party night in the hotel, when we arrived back from an external event we were met by a police van hauling fellow guests out of the hotel......
The friendly staff at the reception desk Family room (adjoining room) all I wanted was a double room
The warm and welcoming staff - at reception, cleaining the room and at breakfast satnav took us to the wrong side of the road
Nice breakfast, good parking, good location just out of the main town Stayed on Floor 2 and had wooden floor above us and all you could hear was creaking noises where other residents were pacing around all night. At least I think that is what they were doing.
