Customer service top notch
Pros: I want to thank the lady that checked us in and the very excellent customer service of the lady at the time we dropped off the vehicle. At drop off we had a slight issue and the young lady whose name started with Na___(did not get the spelling) went above and beyond on a Sunday to make things right. I was very impressed with her will to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Please reward her for a job well done.
Cons: The vehicle was hard to pack with 5 people, luggage and a wheelchair. It was a Nisssn quest. Very nice just to small.

Hertz completely failed me
Cons: I made a reservation for July 1st, noon. I called at 11:45 because I was afraid I'd be a little late, asked them to hold the car. They said "we have a half hour grace period. But we do t have any cars right now." The last time I checked, a reservation meant that they WOULD have a car on the date and time that the reservation was for. They said they would call me when they got cars. An hour later, I called back - no cars. I finally ended up renting from Budget rental car and paying through my nose for it. I'm a comedian and I was on tour and had to be in Lake Charles, LA for a show that night. Hertz NEVER called with a car, or ever called to apologize. I'll never use Hertz again if I can help it, this is the textbook definition of "piss-poor" service.

Pick up customer service was lackluster
Pros: Car was clean
Cons: Long hot walk to the car at the end of the lot. Customer service agent at pick up was more of a robot than a human being.

Cons: Although it was painful they wanted card I used to purchase a rental and wanted a credit card, not a debit card for security
