Pros: Got the check-in done reasonably quickly, Also checked out quite quickly.
Cons: At check-in, the agent kept asking gold members to come forward and get service ahead of us. Annoying, but there weren't many, so it did not slow us overmuch. Car had black interior, and some previous customer had a white dog or cat in the car, and there was still a fair amount of white hair on the upholstery..

Horrible customer service at MSN airport
Cons: I did not have the credit card on me that I prepaid for the reservation with even though I had my ID and plenty of other credit cards with my name. They told me my only option was to be treated as a walk up, completely rebook, pay a higher rate and go sort out any refund for my existing booking on my own. Worst customer service I have ever had from a rental car company. I called their online reservations got a full refund and took my dollars to enterprise where I was treated with respect. Will not use hertz again in madison, maybe anywhere.

Pros: Overall, everything went really smooth. The only issue was that they were not ready at 6am to start getting the cars out. I had to wait for the computers to get up and running. Other than that, it was smooth.

Pros: Hertz associates were friendly and courteous and even provided some great restaurant recommendations.. Fast and easy pick-up and drop-off of vehicle.
