    Beware of hidden deposits!
    Cons: Even though we had prepaid for the car on a regular credit card, when we went to pick it up the counter agent informed us that there was an additional $250.00 deposit due! We showed them the paperwork and there was no mention of such a deposit. He claimed it was because "people don't return the cars." We didn't have it on that card and tried to put it on another but they said their policy was that it had to be on the same card we pre-paid the reservation with. We finally had to call Hurtz to get them to cancel the reservation and refund us our money since they wouldn't let us take the car. Bad deal!!!

    Cons: When dropping off the truck. We happened to have a pet hair inside. They inspected and told us that we will be billed additional 300 dollars for cleaning. When giving me an option to have it cleaned (detailed) they never told me what the process should look like. I went to have truck cleaned and came back. They told me the car was not detailed and I showed them receipt. It was just vacuum cost and then they told me that I need to get a package. So I went back to the place and paid the difference to have "the job" they wanted. It was truly a waste 2 hours of my time and it was because they never communicated with me to get it done right in first place. Typical Hertz place but for a cost... I can't really complain except for survey part.

    There was no car available for us and nobody at corporate was willing
    Pros: Car was clean and in good condition After we finally got our car, rental process was fast
    Cons: there was no car available for us when we were on our way to pick it up. Called corporate, got transfer from person to person, no body willing to help. After almost 3 hours of trying to get a car from another location, we decided to call again the first place and the guy said that somebody just returned a car and we could go an pick our rental. We were in town for business and had to rescheduled a meeting we had planned for that afternoon. Really bad service from corporate and they guys at the rental office had no authority at all to make any decision. I thought Hertz was a serious company, really disappointed
