The staff were wonderful to us. The pizza/deli next door was great,ate there 3 nights. Dunkin right down the road for mornings out but coffee in the room was fairly good. The staff were very can I say again very accommodating, we loved them. We liked the friendliness of the staff . They went out of their way to accommodate myself and my daughter. I cannot say enough about the way we were treated. It was an enjoyable stay for my daughters orientation at college. We felt safe and right at home

Generally it was a comfortable at the hotel. It was very easy to reach to downtown, by kust walking a few minutes to metro station and withing a couple of stop we were at downtown. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was not so good but satisfactory. We left our luggages to hotel's storage for a couple of hours in the day we checked out since we can't use the room for that purpose but we had to pay 1 $ per luggage which is unusual in many hotels.

Breakfast was great, varied and fresh. For the price, it's an excellent stay if all you're looking for is staying the night and going to Manhattan all day long. The subway station is a block away and, while the neighborhood might be somewhat sketchy, we never had any issues coming back late at night. The staff was great, specially Stephanie, and the rooms were clean and beds were comfy. The only "bad" thing I'd say about the place is that if you're driving in, it will cost you $25 dollars a day to keep your car parked there, but that's a cheap alternative to parking in NYC.
Good location, next to subway station and direct 5min. link to centre. Staff is ok, breakfast is minimal but fine. Hotel quality overall is good. Don't buy food in nearby Indian restaurant after partying. Is to spicy food.
The hotel is close to metro,only 2 mins walk and another 5min to Manhattan. 95% people lives around the Hotel are black, feel somehow unsafe.
Parking too expensive
I found the rooms clean with comfortable beds, and furniture attractive and in good condition. I found the rooms were quiet. I was concerned noise would be an issue since I was adjacent to the exit door and across from the breakfast room. I did hear the door close and open but the sound was fairly unintrusive. Some confusion re: the room cost. This might have been a KAYAK issue, but it was fairly easily remedied, and the person at the desk was apologetic and professional. Parking could have been difficult (I was VERY lucky to get a spot right outside the front door), but that is to be expected in NYC. If I hadn't gotten the spot, I would have been charged an extra $25 (per day? per stay?), a fee I was unprepared for.
Hotel was very nice in general. Staff very friendly, hotel room clean. Atmosphere was relaxing, it felt good going back after a busy full on day in the city. Breakfast was not so good. Limited options and service could have been better., i.e.making sure area tidy at all times.

Our bar tender Front desk and management were rude and not helpful. Our room was not ready by our 630 pm arrival and we were told to wait. After no room by 7 pm an argument ensued with no kindness. After several requested to speak to management....no one came to speak with us to learn of our concerns. Aside from a very kind and competent bartender the stay was not pleasant.
Shuttle service and breakfast. Other than that the rooms and facilities were pretty ordinary. There was no bottled water available in the room nor was it available in any of the vending machines parked at each floor. The hotel shop what presumably carried closed two hours before published time outside the shop. Finally I had to purchase expensive water from the hotel bar.
The room is big and clean. Very confortay You can hear other peoples conversation. Unfortunately, we had to hear another couple in their intimacy whoch was very awful.
Proximity to LaGuardia airport with free shuttle. Neat and clean. Convenient buffet breakfast at reasonable price.

Clean and spacious Had a big issue getting the shuttle from the airport. They left us there for 1.5 hours eventually took a 4 minute Uber. Management was totally unresponsive to the problem.
Nothing I cancelled my hotel more than 48 hours in advance. After I cancelled it, I saw that they had a no cancellation policy. Since they would not refund my money, I asked them to reinstate my room. They refused to reinstate it and so I had to book accommodations at a different hotel. So basically they took my money and refused to give me a room.
I liked that checkin was quick and painless and the room was spacious and clean. The room was pitch black and turning on the hall switch was dim. Had to use my phone to find the lamp switch.

Mattresses need to be replaced. Very noisy after midnite. Security was called. I don't know if they ever came as noise stayed loud for a long time. Also noisy early in the morning.
There isn't anything that I didn't like. The shuttle service back and forth to the airport was quick and comfortable. The room was extremely neat and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The food was great, all of the staff, and especially Jasmine who helped me put together a special event, went above and beyond attending to all my needs and the needs of the guests that met me for dinner. The Sunday brunch was a wonderful change, and everyone there was very attentive. There aren't enough stars in the rating for this! Absolutely nothing.
A revelation being so close to Manhattan. Short on staff
The staff was friendly and courteous, good live music at Mundo a restaurant they have downstairs. They have a communal kitchen on he 4th floor (convenient for some not for all) and a decent gym on the 2nd floor. They have good eco friendly toiletries The room was small and the air conditioner didn't work. It turned on but I didn't feel an change. The elevator is a little creaky and there's no mini fridge in the room.
The industrial chic decor was remarkable. We felt like we were exploring and discovering as we'd take closer looks at vintage registers, a wood+leather ping pong table, or various London phonebooths. And the staff, whether at the desk, from housekeeping, or from the restaurant/bar Mundo were all kind and communicative. Our room, while not spacious, was comfortably setup/decorat ed. The quirky lamps allowed for subtle lighting. And the shower was large/luxurious. We would definitely go back. Small details that we wished would be different: the sheets could be softer, the bathroom trashcan could be quieter/silent (it's the pedal-lid kind), and the fragrance (like cologne) in the lobby is entirely too powerful. We also wished there was something approximating room service: where our order at Mundo could be brought up to our room instead of us having to pick it up. That would've probably made us feel quite pampered. :)

The hotel and staff were very nice. The hotel scenery was awesome and it always smelled good. Our room was clean. It was really close to the subway station and a short ride to the city. Its also close to a cool town called Astoria with bars and little restaurants and its also super close to La Guardia airport. The area around it is not the nicest and I wouldn't walk by myself but it wasn't too bad. There's an awesome lil coffee shop next door called All American II Coffee Shop & Deli that serve up a mean grilled cheese with bacon and $1 hot coffees. But for the hotels.com price of $122/night it was really worth it. Everything was good except for our bed. It was the squeakiest, loudest bed I have ever slept on. And yes, the walls are very thin so when my neighbors phone rang it sounded like my phone rang next to my bed. Not a great place to stay if you are newlyweds, light sleepers, or enjoy privacy.

Value is great if you're able to get a deal on Kayak. Wouldn't pay $200 a night. Location convenient access to subway rooms spacious staff friendly and helpful. Beds firm. Bedding clean and fresh. Wifi good. Lots of places to work around the lobby overall for the Kayak discounted price - it's great Should have more staff not a fan of the Turkish/Latin breakfast buffet. Nice to be different but sometimes you just want some eggs and a piece of bacon. Coffeed on Northern Blvd has great breakfast sandwiches. Shower curtain too high floods the shower room floor (they are apparently fixing that) room could use a comfortable chair band a lamp as the LED reading lights were both broken.
The place was great with a funky decor. Clean with comfy beds. Bar and restaurant in hotel a bonus! Easy enough on weekends to find off street parking. Not sure if it was as easy during week Construction on our side of building starting at 6am!! Cannot sleep with that noise!

Got a good long term discount on the room. Nice coffee downstairs. Restaurant closed for renovations much of the time I was there, which was disappointing. Room bright and clean and comfortable. Right on top of the subway, though lots of repairs and delays when I was in town. Housekeeping could have been a little more meticulous. Sometimes things weren't replaced.
The decor was the highlight of the stay. I was only in for a night but that didn't stop the service from giving their best. I was on the first floor right on the street and I mean right on the street. The noise wasn't an issue as much as the people on the sidewalk looking right in my room. The tv didn't work. I found this out after coming home late and felt it eccentric to call to have it fixed at 2 am especially when you're only there for 1 night. Lastly, there were ants in my room. They got into some of my things and I had to throw away some toiletries. Refund for only a partial amount of what I payed. They handled the situation at check out even though I called around 9am and was told they would send someone right away.

The decor and cleanliness were lovely, and the location was great - quicker walk to subway and trip to Manhattan than I'd expected. Bed and sheets very comfortable, quality towels, and spacious room and bathroom. View was also terrific. The only reasons I'm not giving 5 stars are: not enough towels for a couple (despite asking for more). Breakfast/coffee service ridiculously slow and chaotic. (And really, should you charge a guest for a cup of regular coffee?) Bath products strange-very strong masculine scent to most; strong enough that I didn't feel I could use them. Shower charmingly minimal but not that practical-because it's open at one side, you end up getting water everywhere and it can get chilly for activities like leg shaving.

Atrium is a nice look and close to highway I can understand a valet parking fee, although excessive at $25, but a $12 park yourself fee at a hotel not in a downtown area with a huge parking lot is not nice.
The staff was amazing. You couldn't ask for better service and friendliness.I really enjoyed my visit.I The cleanliness of the Hyatt I felt could of been better.Our room was dusty when we arrived,which surprised me.Cleaning supplies were left in bathroom,and 1 small bar of soap was left for the two of us.It wasn't terrible just surprising because of the friendliness and excellent service.I wasn't going to comment because everything else was wonderful but. since I received the survey I deceided I would.Thank you again.

The user interface for getting connected to the WiFi was the worst i have experienced compared to the many other hotels at which I've stayed. I walked my device down to the front desk twice to get help where the gentlemen who attempted to help were unsuccessful. I don't know if the server was experiencing because eventually (an hour later) the connection was made, but i needed the connection quickly. I needed to resort to using the computers in the lobby.
I like that it was tucked away from the highway and from any busy streets. The ambiance was very professional; very nice decor; generous sized rooms and very bright lights in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have free wifi.
Stay was great, but check in process was awful. 2 staff members were helping a couple that needed some more assistance, but it tied up the whole front desk. My fiance and I were in a hurry, and we waited 5+ minutes to check in. Another guest behind me was also making comments about the wait. I hope there is a quicker and more efficient way to check in, in the future. Otherwise, if the whole front desk staff is tied up helping a customer, hopefully they can give the other customers an explanation of the delay.
The area is beautiful, the hotel is massive and very clean. I didn't stay long enough. Checked in at 1am, checked out 10am the next morning.

Absolutely nothing - this preys on unsuspecting tourists lured in by cheap prices and its location. that is some business model AVOID AT ALL COSTS- You most certainly get what you pay for. !! Incredibly rude staff ( do you people realize you work in a service industry? Could not change room even after seeing bedbugs in the room and a cockroach in the bathroom .
No parking. When I asked the desk for a 15 minute late checkout he said "do you know you're like the tenth person to ask me for that today?" My reply was "so is that a no?" In the end I checked out at normal time and housekeeping wasn't even on my foor.
The room was filthy. Linen was dirty. Couch was broken. Yes there was running water but not much more.
Price and the fact that had a room open Staff very unwelcoming. Sheets had stains on them and not mention the huge stains on the carpet. Shower conditioner was used by last guest. Upon check in was told extending would be no problem the next day, just to call down and be told no then forced to check out with housekeeping banging on my door every couple mins asking me to leave. Overall, if you seen the movie, room 1408, I was there.

This hotel was a great location to access the subways to get around the area. We used the Air Train from JFK to Jamaica Station then to the E line which will get you to Queens Plaza stop which is near to the hotel. This location was also very close to 2 other stations which allowed us easy and quick access to other subway lines. Just a short walk will get you where you want to go! There were many issues wrong with this hotel: - The staff was very short with their answers and responses. Efficient but not very friendly or welcoming. - Our bathroom linens were stained and unusable. Thankfully they would leave us more than needed so I could find enough visibly unstained ones for us to use. - The lighting in our room was so dim that we had to use the tv as a light source to be able to see well enough. Not sure if the bulbs were too low in wattage or what but this was very inconvenient. - The air unit was so loud when it ran that we wouldn't be able to sleep due to the noise. We turned it off and thankfully the room was warm enough that it was not needed at night. - Our room looked on the street below and the traffic noise could be heard disturbing out sleep. - I would only stay here again if it was truly the only place available to stay in this area and would bring my own bath linens!! I have stayed in hotels costing less than this one and have gotten a much nicer room and better service. Maybe it is due to the area but this is not an acceptable reason for such poor quality or service.

The hotel was close to the subway. You could be within the city in minutes. Choice of 7, N, Q lines. The "city view" room that I had reserved was a joke. There were plenty of other buildings blocking a good part of the view, and the window itself was small and one could not enjoy the view unless they were standing right at the window looking at a specific angle. Deceptive marketing, beware! Staff was very short, cold, and not accommodating as you would expect from the hospitality business. I could not understand the staff due to heavy accents of varying origins and broken English. The room did not include the microwave or refrigerator that was listed during booking. The room was VERY dark, not a lot of lighting. The breakfast was a joke. There were a couple of maids present but did nothing but just stand on the outside of the room, doing nothing, when the food area was a mess and items needed to be replaced. My partner and I just got a cup of coffee and went back to our room to find someplace to eat instead. I was born in Queens, so I suppose I should have known better, but I expected a bit more paying $100+ after tax for a night's stay.
Stayed for three day instead of staying in a NYC hotel. Beautiful rooms, fantastic bathroom, kind staff and great spa facilities.
This is a great hotel if you want splendid service and excellent accommodations. It is a bit on the sleepy side--there's no bar owned by the hotel with a lot of activity. But you can have a quiet drink in the lobby restaurant.

I stay here I save half my money and get 2x the service...This hotel is brand spanking new...like walking onto an elegant Starship...USS Comfort...we came to nyc, felt relieved at the end iof the day....the Malls are right next door!
The rooms were beautiful, updated and huge. The bathroom was wonderful aswell.The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The front desk staff seemed to be a bit incompident with hotel details such as hours of the spa and restaurant and how the computer system worked. It seemed like there were a lot of 'new' people on staff.
The Hampton Inn JFK was a great place to get some rest when you have to layover for a flight. The shuttle was a quick ride and the drivers where very friendly. Would definitely recommend this Hotel and I will stay here again next time I have a JFK layover!

The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable and the pillows are the best. We laid in bed and were sleeping within minutes. One of the 3 shuttle drivers, Darren. He was extremely rude, not only to us, but to a foreign student and others as well. He went as far as not opening the shuttle door for a kid until he, the driver, was ready. We sat in the shuttle dumb founded by his actions. We were not able to report this because we were running late. I hope he does not work there for long, he will cost this wonderful hotel many customers. He should NOT be in a customer service position.

Everything I mentioned smelled was old and needs to be refurbished. by far this was our worst experience with Hampton Inns and we've stayed at them all over the country. Management's attitude also needs an adjustment

A very comfortable and clean hotel close to JFK
We used it for our last night in New York and wanted a location close to JFK airport, with a reasonable rate and with complimentary shuttle service. It certainly achieved a tick for all three. Breakfast (hot) was also included. The room was clean and because our daughter was not yet 18 years old, she stayed with us for free. For what we wanted, we have no complaints. However, one downside was that there did not seem to be any takeaway food establishments within walking distance. The hotel got around that problem by having copies of menus from nearby food outlets. I think all advertised free delivery.
Hotel served a purpose of being next to JFK airport with complimentary shuttlebus, reception staff were excellent and most helpful. Hotel could benefit from restaurant and the breakfast staff could do with some attitude training!!

The location is excellent. The best is the airport pick up and drop. The hotel people were very friends and gave us good tips and guided us nicely to go around the city. Though it was our first visit to Newyork, we did not feel lost as the hotel staff helped us in every aspect. A special thanks to them.
The room was small. I booked a king and got a double. We looked in the other rooms and they were bigger not really sure why we did'nt get a king! The room we stayed in had a funny smell like there was water damage in the room but over all it was ok for the money.
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the site that I was working at. It was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can not think of anything.

I did not like anyting about it not clean at all and really does not worth the money I paid for, As said the room des not worth more than $50 a night I paid $141 with tax. I was very much surprised when I arrive at the hotel, in a bad location, dirty and was really angry about everything. I could have paid the same amount and stayed in a decent hotel elsewhere.
Nothing Parking was supposed to be free when I booked and I was charged for parking when I arrived. Our first room smelled of BO. We were moved to an alternative room, which was fine.

The hallway my room was on smelled like complete throw up and had a horrible odor until later on in the night. Understandably, it was new years day when I came but the hall should of been sprayed or contained the smell. That is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.

The price was right, and the shower was hot My family and I waited am hour for our room to get ready. We arrived @ 7:30pm. Why on earth would we need to wait an hour at that time? ? Bed was very uncomfortable and TV needed to be adjusted by an engineer to be used. We requested extras pillows, and they did not have any. This property is shady at best. It is in the ghetto,and I cannot believe it is a Crown Plaza! Fresh paint and new carpet cover up a very substandard operation.

Very close to JFK, shuttle convenient once you take the air train from JFK to Federal Circle. Need work on room service. The number of people, including employees, clustered by the front door smoking like chimneys and blocking door access because it was raining. A huge turnoff right at the outset. The bathroom shower tile floor was sketchy, broken and uneven, so dirty water collected by the door entry. Room service forgot my entree when they delivered it. For the prices they charge for the food, they should have comp'd it, but instead they called me to apologize. 3 separate times, and AFTER I had fallen asleep.
It was very close to the airport and the staff were very nice. Although the hotel looks like it may have been renovated not long ago, there were many things about the room that looked shabby. Peeling and bubbling paint on the bathroom ceiling, frayed and and ripped carpet and the one and only hook in the bathroom to hang anything on was pulled out of the wall and just barely hanging on. It would have pulled completely out had we put anything on it.

The building was beautiful and classic. Closer, than I thought, to NYC, but probably need a car to get there. The restaurant was good or okay. It is also a great wedding destination. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay there. The service at the restaurant (Celler 49) was a little slow and strange. Food was good or okay. However, it will not stop me going back Tarrytown house estate in the future.
Location in Tarrytown, NY, overlooking the Hudson, friendly upbeat staff, parking on site was convenient, price was great through Kayak, pool was nice and warm, racquet ball court was great! Food at Cellar 49 was tasty. The doors to the room do not close automatically when one exits their room. At one point, I notice that 3 of th4 doors in our area were left ajar by accident. To actually close and lock a bedroom door, one must pull it really hard to make sure it closed. What I am saying is that this is pretty unsafe for women who may be traveling alone and also, throughout the night, I we heard was other guests SLAMMING their doors closed. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff, they seemed surprised to hear this. Some of the paint, wall paper, flooring (in pool bathrooms), need serious sprucing up. Also, air conditioners seem to leak or stain the outside of the building and when I looked out my window, I saw rust stains running down the side of this building. For a Destination property, I expected more in this respect. As my only Destination point of comparison, I have stayed at the Wild Dunes Resort in the Charleston, SC area, which was AMAZING!

Everything at Tarrytown House was just so easy - easy check-in, perfectly comfortable room, and the front desk was so helpful (setting us up with cabs, for example). Plus, the grounds were so green and lovely. Highly recommend - a great value for the cost of the room.
The location is great for where we needed to be. The entrance to the property is 'grand', really liked driving up. The restaurant is 'cellar 49' is in the basement, cosy and intimate. Great service, helpful and super friendly! ... The noise! They need to insulate the walls! We were placed in the 'Weschester' part of the hotel (someone told us it is the quietest area), you could hear the guest next door talking on the phone, hear what he was watching, and hear every single passerby in the hallway chatting away...
It was a nice location and beautiful property. It was impossible to find the room and the map was poorly labeled. So many buildings and parking lots. Very challenging to navigate. Rooms were rather basic for the cost of the room per night.
The pool was 21 and over and served GREAT drinks! The staff was very nice We didn't eat breakfast there because of the price. It was expensive.
The pool is great, the employees are very helpful and kind, and the place is beautiful. Nice pool, too. I only wish there was someplace to eat on the grounds aside from the pricey Cellar restaurant, since we kept having to take cabs to the main part of town to find restaurants.
Their staff was very helpful and friendly.

Spent the weekend at the estate when I proposed to my girlfriend. Staff was very accommodating to my requests to surprise her and Alex even had a few extra special touches to add to our stay.
If you are on duty for business in Manhattan and it is the firm who pays for fancy but tiny hotel room for you downtown then after the meeting ends you realize that it's not worth the money if you want to extend your stay for a couple of days more on your own budget, this one is the perfect match! You'll get nice view of the city , easy access to public transportations , shuttle service oh..and the rooms are huge and classy with less pay! The rooms, NYC view from the rooftop restaurant, and the restaurant itself, staff are super nice, no-rip-off private car service to JFK.

The staff were great, the area was perfect, and the walk from the train, and to restaurants was not bad at all- there's a free hourly shuttle too but we preferred walking. The price was very reasonable. There was some construction going on, but it wasn't that noticeable and the club and traffic is audible- that may bother light sleepers...
Spacious rooms compared to Manhattan hotels Some of the clientele were just trashy. There was a couple making out in the lobby right when you walked in at night granted the hotel does have a rooftop lounge that the locals treat as trashy Queens club, but it was a Sunday night, and the lounge was closed so you can't blame it on the alcohol. Room designer seemed to be obsessed with positioning fixtures in the upper right hand corner, which is ok I guess with certain things but not lighting fixtures. And last time I checked an electrical outlet should be by the sink, not above the toilet bowl, unless they consider there guests really hardcore multi-taskers that can shave and blow dry whilst...well you know
The rooms are spacious and beautiful, very clean and up to date. The feel of the hotel overall is very trendy and modern. I would come again any time hands down Because of the intense cold (and not so great insulation) the hall way and restaurant on the first floor were on the chilly side. I know it's petty stuff, but I just thought that being indoors would allow me to walk around without a jacket or sweater, and though I did, I regretted it right away because I was cold.
Good location The hotel was run down requiring millions in renovations. The rooms were unsanitary in every respect. The furniture was terribly stained with cigarette burns all over the couch and chair. The desk was badly damaged. Lamp shades were stained and walls scraped all over with black scuff marks all over the white walls. I had to check out. They wouldn't refund my money but I had no choice.
Free Shuttle Rides to local areas and substations. Extremely friendly staff. Very Accommodating. There was a little construction going on locally but hotel fully accomidated any and all needs. The club on the roof top during the weekend was a little unexpected went until 3/4 if you are trying to sleep at a decent time this place isn't recommended for the weekend.
The best thing about the Ravel is it's proximity to mid town. A free shuttle or 10 minute walk to the nearest subway and you are two stops away from the heart of the city. For half the price of a comparable room in Manhattan you get almost the exact same convenience. Long Island City is still very much an industrial area. The walk to the subway is past many warehouses and the area is kind of trashed. Fortunately all the streets stay pretty lit up but there is litter all over and you have to switch street sides because of construction.
The location to get to downtown Manhattan was great. You can take the tunnel or the bridge and get there relatively quickly. When I asked for the car service, the car was on time and the driver very courteous (I used them every day for a week). The Rooftop view of the Manhattan skyline is terrific. I felt the hotel was very secure and safe. Did not like my room. I stayed in 106 which is on first floor right outside the elevator and main hall (room 105 is also located there). They have recently added a second door inside the room to help keep down the outside noise but it did little good between 5am and 9am each morning. The hotel has obviously had complaints about the noise or they would not have added the interior door with a sign as to why the door was there (noise). The elevator doors were constantly opening/closing and the cleaning staff were busy getting their carts to each of the other floors to begin maid services. Not to mention the numerous people coming down to get to breakfast and the chatter. The room itself was dirty and was in desperate need of a paint job. I realize they saved the top renting units for the top buyers but for what I did pay (which was not cheap) I was greatly disappointed. As I stated in the pro's of the hotel, the rooftop view was incredible, but they have little to no seating to enjoy the skyline unless you want to sit in the covered restaurant, which greatly obscures the views. They had closed off the very top seating area on top of the restaurant the second night I was there. When I asked the hostess why, she had no reason to give and eventually allowed me to sneak up there to enjoy the night views and relax but made sure to close off the stairway access behind me so that no one else would go up there.

A hotel known for its view put me on the ground floor across from the elevator where I could hear everything. Bathroom had a roach and was filthy. Manager only offered to have someone in and clean. Overpriced for an experience I could have had at a Motel 6.
The only positive aspect of the hotel was that the wedding we were attending was at The Foundry. The other positive aspect was the girl that helped with my luggage. She was very courteous and helpful. The hotel was under construction and there were no clear signs indicating where to park or where to enter for the main lobby. I drove around the hotel 4 times until I finally called them to get information. You had to find your own parking on the street since there was no valet when I arrived at 4:30 PM. I actually had to call the hotel to inquire about the check in process and the location and called the front desk for the gentleman to come out and get some of my bags.When we went up to the room, there were flies and my husband actually killed about 10 of them. He called the front desk requesting a fly swatter and received no help. We also came back from the wedding and checked out that evening without staying overnight. The bar in the hotel became a nightclub and was very noisy and crowded. We also smelled marijuana in the stairwell of our floorl. It was a very disappointing stay and we will not be paying for our stay there and have requested a refund. Until they finish the construction, they should offer severely reduced rates. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Stay in Manhattan over the bridge. Might be more reliable.
I liked that it was close to the airport and its a much bigger hotel than the other options near by. There was also a good restaurant and cafe in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and quick in processing us. I didn't like that the room had very dim lighting, especially in the bathroom. It was rather dark
Beds were great. And the food at the restaurant was excellent! No pool hours during the week day mornings.
That room service ended at 11 and the kitchen closed at 12 downstairs at the bar. I had gotten in from the airport at just past 11 and really didn't want to have to sit down at the bar. So it was quite disappointing to find out that room service had ended.
Everything except the soap. The soap makes your skin dry like sand paper and makes you smell like meatloaf. I'm dead serious.

Great staff - very friendly and helpful. Food was great! They provided a shuttle service to my work every morning while I was there. The hallway carpet was obviously on their list of what to replace next, otherwise everything was top-notch. Had a lot of problems with the internet. Very spotty.
The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff at the check-in desk was efficient but not overly friendly, with the exception of the first check-in.
This hotel was easily accessible from all major roads. The property itself is well-maintained and very clean. In the staff is very friendly and helpful too. After a very long day of touring New York City this hotel was a welcomed stay for weary travelers. The Bistro Cafe located in their Lobby is an excellent choice for breakfast. We ventured out into the neighborhood our first day for breakfast, and we were very disappointed with the food locally. We should have stayed on premises to eat at The Bistro Cafe both mornings.
The Hotel is one I have used several times for convenience due to location just north of Yonkers thus just north of NY City and close to clients. They have been working on the hotel & the renovations are tasteful, the room was comfortable and well laid out, the bathroom is elegant and general it was not only a reasonable price & great location, but a restful stay.

Location only The hotel was super hot. You walked in and a huge wave of heat hit your face. No parking outside because there were 2 events going on. Beds were so uncomfortable. I just felt very stuffy in this hotel. I won't stay there again.
the staff , the accomadations and the room this is just an observation. had a room with 2 beds. but the closet was in a corner next to the bed and very hard to get in between the bed and the bathroom wall. Not a good location. maybe a better architect next time. Also the bathroom was quite nice, but the sink was too shallow and when you open the faucet the water sprayed all over, not that any of this was extreme but just annoying. have a nice new year.

The rooms are very good. They are contemporary. Very well designed for senior citizens. Has a restaurant open till 12 in the night. Vending machines for drinks and water on every floor. No bell boy. Not a problem for single travellers but we had a lot of luggage.
Responsible. Free breakfast and parking. Clean sheets and blankets.

Great staff especially the new Manager Hudson. Loved loved the seafood all you can eat buffet restaurant and the foot massage sevice was Devine! Unfortunately the air conditioner in my room was very loud like a truck motor.

right Near the 5 train. less than a miles walk over the bridge to manhattan. Quiet, clean, trendy. Weekends and holidays should have no problem with parking on the streets. Nice healthy options in the breakfast buffet-everything you need to get you through lunch. Hotel is as it appears in the ads. Staff are friendly. inclusive Gym next door is up to date and great ( even though you have to go outside to access it. Don't count on hotel parking 2.5 spots plus a handicap spot(but who needs a car in NYC!)
