Pros: Rooms were well appointed and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: Pool was closed
Pros: Great on all counts that matter to us: staff, design, amenities, location, and value. Works for business or leisure. Our 12 year old son and I decided to stay in White Plains on a lark (after an educational and fun trip to Sleepy Hollow), and very happy we did. Would recommend to anyone who needs "a clean, well-lighted place" to sleep.

Pros: We stayed for only one evening but we were quite pleased. The hotel is lovely and located on the harbor with gorgeous views. It is also conveniently close to the train station which we took to and from Manhattan. The shops of Greenwich are also within walking distance and this provides a nice option. The shops are upscale and unique. I would recommend this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway. Champagne is provided upon arrival and there was a continental breakfast provided. The staff was kind and not intrusive. Awesome place! You won't be disappointed.
Cons: No pool and nothing for kids to do.
Location. This waterfront Greenwich hotel is on Greenwich Harbor, near the train station and shopping, and 3.9 miles from the Donald M Kendall Sculpture Gardens.
Hotel Features. The Delamar Greenwich Harbour has a 24-hour fitness facility, 4 meeting rooms, and a 24-hour business center. This four-star Greenwich property features spa services such as a spa treatment room, manicures, pedicures, and couples treatment at The Spa at Delamar. The Delamar Greenwich Harbour has a restaurant and a bar/lounge. Room service is available during limited hours. Complimentary valet and self parking are available.
Guestrooms. Amenities featured in guestrooms include complimentary wireless Internet access, air conditioning, minibars, and complimentary newspapers. Guestrooms have televisions with premium TV channels and pay movies. Bathrooms feature bathroom phones and bathrobes. Infant beds are available at no extra charge; adjoining rooms are also available.
Pros: The room's bathroom facilities. All staff interactions were great.
Cons: Parking was $30 for the night.
I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. The spa and pool were top quality, although it was hard to get an appointment when we checked in. this was a last minute, get-a-way trip for us, so we did not make spa reservations before hand and there were practically no services available. The hotel staff was extremely attentive. First class service all the way, from the pool attendants to the maids, to the doorman. We felt like a million dollars.
Pros: The rooms were beautiful, updated and huge. The bathroom was wonderful aswell. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
Cons: The front desk staff seemed to be a bit incompident with hotel details such as hours of the spa and restaurant and how the computer system worked. It seemed like there were a lot of 'new' people on staff.
Set in the heart of White Plains, New York, just 30 minutes from downtown Manhattan and Greenwich, CT, our luxury hotel takes cues from nature, incorporating seasonal elements into everything from spa treatments to the menus at our award-winning restaurant, including BLT Steak. Those who enjoy the outdoors will find opportunities for golfing, hiking and biking nearby, while unique experiences, including swimming under the stars at our rooftop pool.
Pros: The hotel is very modern and the staff members are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They have a great swimming pool, exercise gym and only a few minutes drive away from central Greenwich. The restaurant served amazing dishes and drinks.
Cons: We initially got a room with a view...of a parking lot. Thankfully, the staff allowed us to switch rooms to the second floor which was better and more private. It made no sense that the balcony was not accessible, which I think the hotel should change.
Pros: It was very updated- tech savvy. The staff went out of their way. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and they put our food orders in immediately and brought dinner to our rooms (10:30 at night). A great experience.
Cons: Not at all.
Pros: Small, comfortable with a nice restaurant/bar. Friendly staff. Other nearby alternative (Hyatt Regency) is a 'big' hotel. This was our third time here and we like it.
Cons: Only negative: a little TOO modern. Toilet opens when you step in the shower. No hooks in bathroom (maybe one). Wife had to turn waste can upside down in shower to shave legs.
Pros: The staff was outstanding. I received a warm welcome when I arrived and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I enjoyed my stay. The room had amazing features with the latest and greatest technology as well.
Pros: New, modern look. Privacy on the deck area. Bed was great.
Pros: The cool vibe, high tech reputation (if not execution), great food in restaurant and bar
Cons: My phone did not work in my ground floor room, and since they said the hotel was full they would not change it.
Pros: proximity to Greenwich
Cons: My room was not ready in late afternoon when I arrived to check in. I had to wait in the lobby. The 'continental breakfast' is not more than coffee, dry cereal, and a dry roll. I was very disappointed.
Pros: the staff were very helpful and gave more than was asked for, they went above and beyond. The location was perfect for me, easy on/off 95 and I had to travel north in the morning (against traffic) and south in the evening (also against traffic)
Cons: a little instruction on where to find things would be great, such as the buttons needed to work the lights and shades
Pros: The toilet was AMAZING! I also enjoyed the staff, very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The bar was also a nice touch. The free shuttle was also a plus, I will be staying their again in the near future.
Cons: I loved everything!
Pros: I received a patio room, which is much nicer (and quieter) than the 'motel' courtyard room, which should be avoided at all costs. This was the first room I recieved with a bath and a separate shower.
Cons: This was my 3rd trip to this property. On each visit, one of the evenings I ate at the hotel restaurant. The quality of the meals has not been as expected, nor commensurate with the price. Minor nit, housekeeping did not replace toiletries during my stay.
Pros: I loved the high-technics of the hotel. Very modern. Beautiful art through the hotel.
Cons: The food and bar was a bit pricey.
Enjoy your visit to Riverside with a stay at J House Greenwich. You can visit the spa to indulge in deep-tissue massages, detox wraps, or aromatherapy, and American cuisine is served at J House Restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An outdoor pool and a poolside bar are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like iPads, iPod docks, and pillowtop beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: Our room was spacious and very clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, bed and pillows were comfortable.
Coffee was good, I usually dislike hotel coffee but Hyatt had some good coffee.
Cons: Breakfast buffet could have been a little more exciting. Limited choices and pretty bland.
Cons: Cumout leaked from midnight , never had this kind issue in any other place
Pros: The kitchen is nearly fully stocked
Cons: This was the best stay I've ever had with my dogs.
Pros: Great staff very polite , helpful and friendly
Cons: Bathroom had no pressure

Cons: As a senior it would have been nice to have known how to use the room entry card. I am used to a slot and this was most frustrating until I finally pressed it against the little circle. Keep this in mind when older folks check in.

Pros: The lobby looks beautiful but it can't help my experience staying at this hotel
Cons: No AC, my room even don't have a ceiling fan and I have to request a fan.
The photo of the lobby is trying to seduce us to think the hotel is that good but it is NOT.
The room is small, old although the shared bathroom is quite clean ( better than the private one)
We got a room with private bathroom so the room is so small and we don't even have enough space to walk. The bathroom is really old although clean
Situated in Long Island City, this hostel is within 3 mi (5 km) of United Nations Headquarters, Bloomingdale's, and Barney's. Chrysler Building and Empire State Building are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: Rooms were good sized
Breakfast was good, a nice variety
Large comfy lobby/breakfast/bar area
Easy to get to our room
Cons: The pool was a little cool
The pool is small
A notice about not having a liquor license was posted
Cons: Suite was not cool d by air conditioner.
Pros: Love the staff, very nice people. Very professional and always helpful ---
Love the rooms, comfortable and clean
Have stayed here three times so far and all three times were great
Pros: Everything was perfect here. We enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Well first of all I would like to say I checked all the other hotels online this hotel is absolutely the best prices the best Hotel staff I've ever seen in any hotel in New York City and abroad they're very friendly helpful respectful I love the fact that it's way way far from the city the gym is excellent the pool was excellent food is excellent this is my get away to paradise when me and my wife just want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is where we come
Cons: had to pay for wi-fi that should have been free given the price of the room. lost connection to to wi-fi too many times.
Pros: Hotel was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast line was a bit crazy. Took a while to get what I wanted and it seemed like the staff had a hard time keeping up with the number of people at breakfast.
Pros: The beds are extremely comfortable & very likely to get a good night's sleep.
Cons: I have stayed @ Hampton Inn previously for last 2 years. There was once a greeter, a young upbeat guy, who would greet, interact w/guests, and make sure he said good morning to guests as they arrived for breakfast. He was a great asset to the hotel, but sure he has moved on in life. No one greeted guests @ breakfast during my stay, did no see any staff interacting w/ guests to see if anything was needed.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and attentive. The bed was uber comfortable and clean. The breakfast was satisfying and tasty. I liked that they had an indoor pool, gym, and a bar.

Pros: Couldn't have been better. Will consider staying at 'comfort next time and if we go to Hawthorne we'd definitely stay at Comfort.
Cons: There is nothing that was even remotely not to our liking. We felt as though we were royalty. Thanks
Behind every great day is a great night at the Comfort Inn and Suites hotel in Hawthorne, NY, near New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center. Be sure to take advantage of our complimentary services and amenities like WiFi, daily hot breakfast, weekday newspaper, fitness center and indoor pool. Plus, all guestrooms are furnished with hair dryers, irons and ironing boards, microwaves, refrigerators and TVs. Pros: Excellent staff, close to train station and the option of different restaurants in the area.
Cons: Was disappointed in that there was no secure internet connection unless you paid extra and that, and some might consider this as being trivial, there was no channel guide for the TV. I called the front desk about this an was advised that they had no guide and I could do a manual search for the TV stations.
Pros: The room was nice. It had a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was located on the 10th floor, which was great because that was the same floor as the breakfast buffet. For New Rochelle, this was a great location because within the same parking structure you had a supermarket, movie theaters, arcade, Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, a decent Ramen house and good Jamaican restaurant. The room was quiet too.
Cons: We were there for a week. The very next day after checking in, a pair of new Gap athletic shorts were stolen from or room by housekeeping. I say this boldy because of the following:
1- They were the only pair I brought on the trip, intended to only sleep in them at night.
2- Before we left that day, I left them hung over the arm of the couch along with some flipflops on the floor beside them. When we returned to the room that evening, flipflops were still there, shorts were gone.
3- Before calling the front desk, we flipped the room upside down looking for them. went through every drawer in the room, looked under all the furniture, bed, couch pillows, etc.
When I called the front desk that evening, I said I was giving them them the benefit of the doubt and hoping that housekeeping may have swept them up with towels and bedding. She said she would check with the housekeeping manager and get back to me. She called about 10 minutes later saying that no one was available to assist me until the next morning, to call at 9am. I called 9am sharp, spoke with someone again at the desk who said she would look into what happened and get back to me. I told her that it the shorts weren't even expensive, its' just that it made no sense to take them like that. She agreed and said that's totally not acceptable and that she would talk to whoever she needs to so that this issue will be resolved for us.
I never heard back from anyone. My wife and I decided that because we would be doing some shopping that week and bring some new things to the room and combining that with not trusting anyone else at that point, we opted to not have anyone in our room until we checked out the next week.
I also figured that if we tipped at least $10 per day for housekeeping to come in and we would be there 7 days, the loss to that person would be worth more than the shorts that person stole, so in the end, they're the ones that lost...
In the end though, we're the ones that really lost- because we paid full cost of a stay at the Marriott, got less than what they would've provided for services and someone got to keep themselves a nice new pair of Gap athletic shorts.
New Rochelle Marriott, save yourselves the trouble of apologizing for the incident, don't offer me any discounts on my next stay, because I'd be an idiot to come back again and risk losing anything else. Just explain the logic to your housekeeping at your next meeting that it would be insanely stupid to steal ANYTHING from your guests because they pack a minimal amount of things, making things very easy to track when missing.
The only reason why your staff wouldn't give a crap when you tell them this is because they know you do nothing in terms of holding anyone accountable and do nothing to compensate the guest while they are staying there or least at checkout, which would make stealing acceptable to your staff.

Pros: There is a gym, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi
Cons: The gym has only basic equipment the pool dated
Pros: Pool opened early and stayed open late. Breakfast was great! Staff was kind and helpful
Cons: Had to ask for towels at the front desk for the pool. Asked for an extra blanket at night and they were out.

Pros: Cool setting a little different could be really good
Cons: Old elevators slow and half the time out of order. Rooms small but comfortable.
Pros: The decor was the highlight of the stay. I was only in for a night but that didn't stop the service from giving their best.
Cons: I was on the first floor right on the street and I mean right on the street. The noise wasn't an issue as much as the people on the sidewalk looking right in my room. The tv didn't work. I found this out after coming home late and felt it eccentric to call to have it fixed at 2 am especially when you're only there for 1 night. Lastly, there were ants in my room. They got into some of my things and I had to throw away some toiletries. Refund for only a partial amount of what I payed. They handled the situation at check out even though I called around 9am and was told they would send someone right away.
Pros: The industrial chic decor was remarkable. We felt like we were exploring and discovering as we'd take closer looks at vintage registers, a wood+leather ping pong table, or various London phonebooths.
And the staff, whether at the desk, from housekeeping, or from the restaurant/bar Mundo were all kind and communicative.
Our room, while not spacious, was comfortably setup/decorat ed. The quirky lamps allowed for subtle lighting. And the shower was large/luxurious. We would definitely go back.
Cons: Small details that we wished would be different: the sheets could be softer, the bathroom trashcan could be quieter/silent (it's the pedal-lid kind), and the fragrance (like cologne) in the lobby is entirely too powerful. We also wished there was something approximating room service: where our order at Mundo could be brought up to our room instead of us having to pick it up. That would've probably made us feel quite pampered. :)
Pros: Clean rooms, great staff, convenient location to trains and to local attractions like the museum of the moving image, great service.
Cons: Shower was not clean enough.
Pros: Got a good long term discount on the room. Nice coffee downstairs. Restaurant closed for renovations much of the time I was there, which was disappointing. Room bright and clean and comfortable. Right on top of the subway, though lots of repairs and delays when I was in town.
Cons: Housekeeping could have been a little more meticulous. Sometimes things weren't replaced.
Pros: The place was great with a funky decor. Clean with comfy beds. Bar and restaurant in hotel a bonus! Easy enough on weekends to find off street parking. Not sure if it was as easy during week
Cons: Construction on our side of building starting at 6am!! Cannot sleep with that noise!
Pros: The hotel and staff were very nice. The hotel scenery was awesome and it always smelled good. Our room was clean. It was really close to the subway station and a short ride to the city. Its also close to a cool town called Astoria with bars and little restaurants and its also super close to La Guardia airport. The area around it is not the nicest and I wouldn't walk by myself but it wasn't too bad. There's an awesome lil coffee shop next door called All American II Coffee Shop & Deli that serve up a mean grilled cheese with bacon and $1 hot coffees. But for the hotels.com price of $122/night it was really worth it.
Cons: Everything was good except for our bed. It was the squeakiest, loudest bed I have ever slept on. And yes, the walls are very thin so when my neighbors phone rang it sounded like my phone rang next to my bed. Not a great place to stay if you are newlyweds, light sleepers, or enjoy privacy.
Pros: The staff was friendly and courteous, good live music at Mundo a restaurant they have downstairs. They have a communal kitchen on he 4th floor (convenient for some not for all) and a decent gym on the 2nd floor. They have good eco friendly toiletries
Cons: The room was small and the air conditioner didn't work. It turned on but I didn't feel an change. The elevator is a little creaky and there's no mini fridge in the room.
Pros: Clean. Nice front desk staff. Comfy beds
Pros: A revelation being so close to Manhattan.
Cons: Short on staff
Pros: Definitly recomended.

We take pride in redefining the ultimate Guest Experience as you know it and making the Impossible-Possible! We look forward to Inspire and be Inspired! We Live, We Love, We Inspire, We Travel!
Pros: The bed, bedding and the room all comfortable.
Check out was easy and fast. I love the fact that you can check out of the room through the television system and drop your key in the box on the way out.
Cons: The entire lobby was like ice the entire time.
Wait staff in the bar/atrium were flat, limited engagement and robot-like.
Pretzels and salad were quite costly at the bar/atrium.
Tables in the lobby were uneven and not always wiped down.
Pros: Above average facilities.
Cons: This hotel is steps from Stamford which is a less than ideal location. The parking spaces are very small.
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable, though somewhat dated.
Cons: I did not like having to pay $12 to park in a lot behind the hotel. I'm accustomed to paying for parking in a city environment where parking is at a premium, but this is a suburban environment. Charging for parking seems ridiculous.
Also, there is only one elevator bank and our room was at the opposite end of the hotel, causing for a very long walk and we happened to have a lot of stuff with us. They desperately need a second elevator bank.
Pros: Beautiful Atrium. friendly staff.
Noisy. High parking rates. Unappealing pool-not that clean Overpriced food.
Pros: Comfortable beds, well-located if you have a car. Beautiful indoor garden.
Cons: Very noisy - you can hear everything in surrounding rooms. Unfriendly and unaccommodating front desk staff. What seems like an oppressed cleaning staff. High parking rates just to park at the hotel. Extra charge for high speed internet. Unappealing pool and gym. Overpriced food. No flexibility for later check-out.
Cons: Pool was overrun with 15 kids at a birthday party
Pros: Atrium is a nice look and close to highway
Cons: I can understand a valet parking fee, although excessive at $25, but a $12 park yourself fee at a hotel not in a downtown area with a huge parking lot is not nice.
Cons: self parking i s $12 per night. what a rip-off the hotel does nothing for it. there is no security in the parking lot.
Pros: Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and positive. Your shuttle drivers couldn't have been nicer.
We were in Greenwich for a funeral, without a car. Your Shuttle service was one of the main reasons we chose the Hyatt.
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful.
Cons: Cost for water and self parking. Rooms not as pictured online.
Cons: Walls are paper thin and guests like to scream in the hallways and all common areas
Pros: The rooms excellent
Cons: I liked everything
New, renovated rooms. Close to airports, train, 45 min to NYC. Comp shuttle w/in 5 miles incl Stamford biz district. Walking distance to restaurants, steps from Stamford border. Award-winning Winfields restaurant and Gazebo Bar. Comp coffee each morning, comp access to Health Club, incl indoor pool. Amenities incl in-room dining, laundry service, biz center, newspaper. Contemporary new guestrooms include flat screen TV, iHome alarm clock, iron/ironing board, safe, fridge, deluxe bath amenities
Cons: The hallway my room was on smelled like complete throw up and had a horrible odor until later on in the night. Understandably, it was new years day when I came but the hall should of been sprayed or contained the smell. That is the only negative thing I have to say about my stay.
Cons: Parking was supposed to be free when I booked and I was charged for parking when I arrived. Our first room smelled of BO. We were moved to an alternative room, which was fine.
Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Proximity to the mall and restaurants is nice.
Cons: I'd prefer free parking, but who wouldn't?
Pros: The staff were especially friendly and helpful

Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, accommodating, friendly and breakfast was very good
Cons: Can't think of anything
Pros: nice decor, good location
Cons: No window on room, only one soap bar, uncomfortable bed and pillow, YMCA exercise music at 6AM, difficult parking lot
Pros: Staff was very friendly and let us do a late checkout.
Cons: There was barely any parking for the hotel. Caused a big inconvenience because parking is limited. Wish we knew that before we got there.
Pros: They were friendly the rooms were clean and we weren't bothered all weekend
Cons: They had one small elevator for the entire hotel and it was unbearably slow. Then if you went to take the stairs they were filthy.
Pros: Hotel Zero Degrees has a great location, helpful, friendly, and professional staff, deliciois breakfast, and clean, modern rooms. It seems to be a well cared for, updated building with nice decor.
Cons: As others have mentioned, the walls here are quite thin. Staying here on Valentine's Day presented a symphony of noise through the walls on all sides. Also, like many hotels, the heat/AC left me bone dry by morning.
Cons: Party Central. Music playing all night. Apparently unsupervised children in the room next to me, while the parents hit the bars.
The room itself was average, sort of a mix of honeymoon suite and no-tell motel vibe. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim, and the shower (sized for two, no tub, low water pressure) had an awkward layout.
The website makes no mention of fact that parking is available or how to access it. By the time I got to the desk and learned that there was parking, I had already paid to do so at the public garage next door.
When I turned in my key, the desk clerk ask how my stay was. "Fair". "Oh, that's great!"
Pros: Cozy stay. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, shops.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't so great. I really dislike fake eggs.
Pros: Close to downtown
Cons: Small room.
Located in the heart of Stamford, this boutique hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Museum of Black World War II History, Stamford Center for the Arts, and Stamford Public Library - Ferguson Library. Fernando Luis Alvarez Gallery and Stamford Town Center are also within 15 minutes.
Cons: If you're a woman, you know that sometimes that time of the month can come early unexpectedly. It was after midnight, and the store was closed. The hotel's market shop was out. The guy at the front desk checked, and said they didn't have anything. The next morning, I talked to one of the other staff, and she said that they did have them after all. Anyways, it was an uncomfortable situation to say the least. I think the least they could have done was to give me like a discount code for my next stay. Nothing. Oh, and you need to pay for the wifi. Not impressed.

Pros: The beds where comfortable, good water pressure and got water. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Not happy that we had chipping ceiling paint over the bed. Don't be fooled when your told you have a room with a view of the pool. It was noisy, could bot open the windows for fresh light because of pool was right there, and random people walked up to the glass sliding doors to sit in chairs directly in form of our room.
Pros: Nice rooms, although a little on the small side.
Great location while visiting Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, Elmsford, etc.
Cooper Mill restaurant is comfortable with good food and provides the room service.
Did not make use of the spa, but it looked nice.
Excellent service at the front desk. Very accommodating of any request.
Cons: Evenings when there are company parties and weddings in the ballroom, parking can be a problem. The ballroom can handle very large groups. There is plenty of parking available but it can be a long hike to carry your luggage. We experienced this twice during our four night stay.
Coffee service in the lobby is Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday only, and then coffee is not served until well after 7:00 am. Do not plan on coffee service from the lobby.
Pros: Not so many people there and it is very quiet place to relax and peace. so we came at the right time!;)
Cons: One mattresses is very soft and floppy which makes my back hurt. Plse check the matrress...
Also needs a bigger table instead of square table so can put some food on instead on the dresser...

Pros: I've stayed in a lot of Residence Inns during the past 30 years of business and leisure travel and this one was a great pleasurable stay. It started with check-in when Midinah at the desk greeted with such cheerfulness that I thought it was 9:30 AM instead of 9:30 PM. After a tough day of travel, it was nice to get a warm welcome after walking into the lobby. And it was as if she was expecting me when I walked in through the entrance. I was amazed that she could tell that I was going to be a new guest, since I didn't bring any luggage with me during check in.
The Health Club was impeccably clean and spacious, which is appreciated. In most other chains, an exercise room is just a closet with with a mirror and some free weights. I like that there is room to move around and to be out other guests' way. Having the five exercise machines was a great sign to guests that this Residence Inn takes the guests need to exercise seriously.
The breakfast buffet was well managed and well stocked with cooked staples like eggs, fried pepper and onions and canadian bacon.
The adjoining restaurant, Aberdeen, was a hidden gem. It's a Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum all day long. On Yelp.com someone said "I've always heard that if you see Asians eat at an Asian restaurant that the place has got to be good". And it was true when I ate there.
Cons: The parking is $10 per night and it is a tight squeeze to get around the garage and to park.

Pros: The pool and spa area was old, but served its purpose. Great breakfast dining area, but the buffet area was so packed in the morning, I couldn't squeeze in just to grab a scone.
Cons: Super loud. They put our family of 3 (with a 3 yr old) directly across the hall from some sort of male adult gathering. Doors closing/slamming all night. Someone knocked on our door in the middle of the night and woke me up. Way too much activity - the staff never should have put us on the same floor and in the same vicinity as the group on our end of the hall.
Pros: We were given a smoke room although when we on line checked in the night before and specified the arriving time. Not again stay there.
Cons: We were given a smoke room although when we on line checked in the night before and specified the arriving time. Not again stay there.
Pros: Quiet, they picked me up at rental car location, clean, nice stagf
Cons: Nothing, liked it all
Pros: Friendly staff;helpful.
Pros: The bed was huge and everything appeared to be spotless. All the staff members were very professional.
Cons: This isn't really the hotel's fault, but the shuttle was MIA. Make sure to call from the airport when looking for transport. This was a pretty bad time for the weather so it may not be a problem normally.

Pros: It was a nice location and beautiful property.
Cons: It was impossible to find the room and the map was poorly labeled. So many buildings and parking lots. Very challenging to navigate. Rooms were rather basic for the cost of the room per night.
Pros: Spent the weekend at the estate when I proposed to my girlfriend. Staff was very accommodating to my requests to surprise her and Alex even had a few extra special touches to add to our stay.
Pros: Their staff was very helpful and friendly.
Pros: clean room
Cons: shower had low water pressure
hotel is a maze to navigate
Pros: Staff was friendly and facilities were fine.
Cons: Found bed bugs in my bed.
Pros: The pool is great, the employees are very helpful and kind, and the place is beautiful. Nice pool, too.
Cons: I only wish there was someplace to eat on the grounds aside from the pricey Cellar restaurant, since we kept having to take cabs to the main part of town to find restaurants.
Pros: Everything at Tarrytown House was just so easy - easy check-in, perfectly comfortable room, and the front desk was so helpful (setting us up with cabs, for example). Plus, the grounds were so green and lovely. Highly recommend - a great value for the cost of the room.
Pros: The pool was 21 and over and served GREAT drinks!
The staff was very nice
Cons: We didn't eat breakfast there because of the price. It was expensive.
Pros: Location in Tarrytown, NY, overlooking the Hudson, friendly upbeat staff, parking on site was convenient, price was great through Kayak, pool was nice and warm, racquet ball court was great! Food at Cellar 49 was tasty.
Cons: The doors to the room do not close automatically when one exits their room. At one point, I notice that 3 of th4 doors in our area were left ajar by accident. To actually close and lock a bedroom door, one must pull it really hard to make sure it closed. What I am saying is that this is pretty unsafe for women who may be traveling alone and also, throughout the night, I we heard was other guests SLAMMING their doors closed. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff, they seemed surprised to hear this. Some of the paint, wall paper, flooring (in pool bathrooms), need serious sprucing up. Also, air conditioners seem to leak or stain the outside of the building and when I looked out my window, I saw rust stains running down the side of this building. For a Destination property, I expected more in this respect. As my only Destination point of comparison, I have stayed at the Wild Dunes Resort in the Charleston, SC area, which was AMAZING!
Pros: The location is great for where we needed to be. The entrance to the property is 'grand', really liked driving up. The restaurant is 'cellar 49' is in the basement, cosy and intimate. Great service, helpful and super friendly! ...
Cons: The noise! They need to insulate the walls! We were placed in the 'Weschester' part of the hotel (someone told us it is the quietest area), you could hear the guest next door talking on the phone, hear what he was watching, and hear every single passerby in the hallway chatting away...
Pros: Professional service and a classy clean look. We can't wait to stay there again.
Pros: The building was beautiful and classic. Closer, than I thought, to NYC, but probably need a car to get there. The restaurant was good or okay. It is also a great wedding destination. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay there.
Cons: The service at the restaurant (Celler 49) was a little slow and strange. Food was good or okay. However, it will not stop me going back Tarrytown house estate in the future.
