Front desk staff was wonderful! Made us feel welcome and important! Shuttle driver to airport was not friendly - not even a good morning! Offered no info or offers of info on how to get to gates - which at an airport under construction would have been helpful!

My card was charged twice for the stay The photos for the hotel do not match the actual condition of the hotel. It appears that nothing has been upgraded/refreshed in > 10 years. Pealing wallpaper, missing baseboard molding, musty smells were prevalent in the hallways and in my room. My room had drywall next to the air conditioning unit and the door to the hallway squeaked like it was 200 years old, The room was not cleaned during my two night stay For the money this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at hands down, and I am a frequent business and leisure traveler
The Arcade is a beautiful Hotel. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable about their facility and surrounding amenities. Centrally located, making everything you want to do in walking distance. First stay was perfect. Great room, extremely comfortable bed, and perfect view of 4th St., cannot complain. Second stay....room was dated, carpet appeared to have water damage, bed was old with ruts and was extremely stiff. Called to ask possibly change rooms and were shot down. I understand hotels fill up fast, especially during big events in downtown Cleveland. However, don't ask me my room preference through email four months in advance and again at the front desk when your going to ignore or know you have no intentions of accommodating a single preference. Just be honest and up front about availability.
The hotel itself has a super cool environment and the building is spectacular... until you go in the room. This was our second attempt at The Arcade and both times we have requested a bath tub and paid an uncharge for a room with a view. Both times the view that we upgraded to was a concrete wall 6 feet from the window. They moved us to a room with an actual view this time at least, but the room was just cleanish and had no bath. We actually think that this may be the room where employees take breaks as the table had pretty clearly had drinks on it not long before we arrived and the TV was on. If they charged $100 or even $150 for rooms here, it would be fine. In fact, it would be good. For $360 a night though, we were really expecting something more than a few steps above a Holiday Inn.

The shops inside were all abandoned. Only a few open. $4 water offered in room. no fridge

There was a lovely gentleman working the front desk who was able to let us check in early. It was a huge help to us considering we had been traveling for over 10 hours with no sleep. The room was very nice; my only complaint would be that there are no fridges available in the rooms.
Pleasant and helpful staff. Dirty, dirty, dirty...stained carpets, broken tiles, torn upholstery on furniture, moldy shower curtain - GROSS!

Beds were perfect. Very comfortable. Pillows were spot on. That is only thing was nice to say about my whole stay. Room was dirty, hair in tub and in the sink. Also smelled funny. Not sure where it was coming from. Parking was very close. My van had door dings. The room size was so small a king size bed was just as big as the room. This place was NOT worh the money.
The cost of valet. Also mark from valet insisted I had to pay him separately before he would run to get my car.
Location Bedding had stains on it, full-length mirror looked like someone had poured coffee down the bottom of it, stains on everything- carpet, ironing board, comforter. No in-room fridge, room service closed early (only have it until 11pm, but no one answered the phone even before that at 10:50 pm). Staff was courteous, location was great; but completely unimpressed with the cleanliness of our room (or lack thereof).
Everybody that worked there was very nice. The front desk helped me immediately. Very nice place to stay. If I ever come back to Cleveland, this will be my first choice to stay Nothing. everything was great!
This location was chosen for it'so proximity to FirstEnergy Stadium, but it also has a multitude of shops and restaurants very close by. Lack of a greeting by hotel staff.
Comfortable bed and room. Decently clean. Breakfast "buffet" was never replenished when food ran out. Never any plates or silverwear. For $15 a person I should be able to get as much food as I want. I was seated by the employee hangout hole in the dining room where I had the pleasure of listening to them complain about customers. Staff needs fired. Also checking out was a joke. They claimed they had no record of us being in that room rather someone else by a different name. Hire some employees with brains and manners.
We enjoyed the location. Also the lobby was decorated beautiful for Christmas. To get our room cleaned we had to ask specifically for it...2 separate times. There were wet towels molding in the floor before we got someone to come clean.

Fitness room great! 1. The hotel facilities are not kept in good repair. For example, the telephone in the room had keys broken or removed from the key pad. 2. Could not check out because the computer system was frozen. I received a email of folio that appears to contain incomplete expenses.

The room was clean, we were put on a high floor with a great view. The staff was excellent. I guess I'm just too picky about the cons. I'm a stickler for good service and the Westin did exactly what they were required to, but nothing more. For example, I asked for a fruit platter & champagne to be put in the room. It was my husband's birthday and it sucked we were stuck in a hotel after a business trip, so I wanted to make it a bit more exciting. Most the fruit was fine, but they didn't pick out the moldy grapes and shriveled berries. There were two glasses for coffee, but provided only one cup serving of grounds. The bag of coffee itself couldn't be opened easily, and since we were traveling, we had no sharp objects. The vanity mirror was broken. Little stuff adds up and I was overall disappointed for a $250+ night.

The hotel was convenient to the Convention Center. The room was clean, hotel was quiet, and the decor modern and relaxing. The attached restaurant is very expensive--if you're traveling on a budget, you're going to have to walk a few blocks to find something cheaper.
Good locatoon, easy walk to local attractions, restaurants, athletic venues. Rooms were comfortable and clean, hotel bar was nice but always under-staffed. Hotel was probably sold out for NCAA tournament, they did not staff the hotel properly. 2 working elevators for 20+ floors after a Thursday night game, plus they closed the bar/restaurant as people returned from the game. Check-in was slow on a Thursdsy, room not ready until after 4:30. Staff were nice, just not enough of them.

The bellmen were outstanding with holding our luggage in storage while we waited 2+ hours for our car at check-out on new years day. They were what made an otherwise unpleasant experience tolerable and actually enjoyable. The valet service was horrible. The wait was long yet tolerable because of the westin's staff and pleasantness. The valet staff had 8 people standing around the podium (not moving or running any cars) sitting there cursing in front of guests during a verbal argument- very off-putting.

The clean room. That the hotel was a little outdated, I stay with Marriott frequently and I feel the professionalism of the staff was non existent. They did not even thank me for my stay upon checkout.
I loved the bed and the room was the perfect temperature. It was quite. Perfect for anyone that just needed a place to sleep and are much more active than we were. Their is no room service that we found. The sink being outside the bathroom was weird. The restaurants nearby closed pretty early leaving fast food as the only other option.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a very nice size and had everything we needed. Parking fees were understandable considering the location. Beds were comfortable. There was no fan in the bathroom. Not a huge deal but hard to get ready when everything is fogged up and you can't open the door cause the others in your room are sleeping! Could also hear the people in the next room coughing up a lung through the bathroom vent...not a pleasant sound first thing in the morning but obviously not the hotels fault!
Complimentary refreshments in the lobby. Great cookies, coffee, tea and water. After walking around the city its wonderful to be able to grab a quick bite and drink upon entering the hotel without having to dig for $. Staff was friendly and more than willing to help. Pool and spa were also great. Lobby couches were worn out, hotel shuttle was limited.

The location was great, just a short walk to Quicken Loans Arena. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Very comfortable beds. Parking was expensive and should have been included. We had dinner in the hotels restaurant and the food was good but the seating was too close to the doors, we were freezing the whole time.
The manager on duty was accommodating and kept her cool in the midst of the problem. The room was comfortable. They oversold themselves, even though I only made the reservation on the way from the airport. Took a long time to sort it out. I did eventually get a good room that was comped.

The location opposite Progressive Field was superb. I went there to watch the Cleveland Indians baseball team. Apart from that the room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was great too. It's a pity that my stay was so short, but Cleveland is a nice city, and I was impressed with the whole place. Can't think of anything I didn't like.
Liked the location next to Progressive Field. Older Hotel, but was kept clean and easy to get to. Parking in the back. Only 1 choice for breakfast, all you can eat for about $12. Tried to get a drink at the bar after an Indians gamed on a Sat. night, only 1 person working the bar and no waitresses. The bar was mostly full, but we sat at a table. Asked for a wine list at the bar after being ignored waiting to order a drink. " Didn't have one and the wines are right there", pointing to a shelf in the back. Of course we left. She wasn't getting our business there. Another couple left without getting a drink before us too. The bed was soft and lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

This was one of the friendliest places we've stayed. Everyone, from the front desk to the service staff, was welcoming and cared about our stay. Within minutes of checking into our room, the front desk called to ascertain if all was well with our room. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The next morning, as we were headed to breakfast, the service staff asked about our room and if it met our expectations. The breakfast area had plenty of seating and a separate space for the food. It was easy to navigate around, although there were a fairly large number of people in attendance, and it didn't make you feel like the area was an afterthought that was just stuck on with a couple of boxes of cereal and lukewarm coffee. Breakfast included fresh, hot eggs, choice of meat, fresh fruit, bread choices, and wonderful coffee. We usually stay at the Express place, but my experience here may definitely change our preference. This is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!

Booked online and received a booking confirmation, upon arrival was informed by the manager of a glitch. He did a very good job of helping get us to an alternate property. What happened between booking, confirmation and arrival? This was very frustrating as we were coming for out of town.

We regularly stay at Hampton's so are very familiar with them. This one was perfect for visiting the Rock Hall and Progressive Field. Everything was expected for a typical Hampton Inn. The breakfast was probably the worst part. They didn't seem to keep the food stocked up so there was scraps left both mornings that we ate there. Our room only had 2 towels, which I found strange, usually there are 4. I had to ask for a 3rd for the 2nd morning. We didn't bother having maid service because they didn't show up until 3pm and by that time we had been out and back and were relaxing for a bit. Valet parking was good but it does cost $20 per night.
It was a nice place close to where I need to be cost of room was good also was the breakfast Wish the room had a frig to keep the food I got at the West side market cold. That's the only that was missing

Location. Cleanliness. Comfortable bedding. Found room very quiet even being next to a young family. Easy and efficient air conditioning. Overall a good place to stay. Did not make up room second day during my stay. Returned to room late afternoon to find no clean towels when we wanted to shower. Front desk said they were behind on laundry and they would run towels up as soon as they could. It was not long after that towels arrived, but to be 5pm and not have made up rooms with fresh towels falls below expectation. Shortly after towels arrived, we were asked if we wanted room service. Late in the evening to be offering, but at least they were checking still.

nicely appointed rooms, clean, fairly comfortable. Located within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions and close to the lake. Staff was a bit harried, not helpful when it came to directions. The 90 East is closed right now, making it a challenge to get in and out of there with GPS. Difficult but not impossible. Staff did not seem to know about this and were not a good source of information for alternative directions.
Typical Hampton inn amenities...Everything I have come to generally expect. Clean and comfortable overall. Breakfast provided--but could have used a bit more variety in hot food options. First...Parking. Granted, I'm used to downtown areas, but I had no idea that the only parking options here were private surface lots and garages, or paying for hotel valet parking. I guess I'm just used to a hotel parking garage or lot of some sort with permitted or validated parking. On the plus side, the valet rate I was charged was a flat $24 for the entire stay. Not terrible. I didn't go in and out, just walked where I needed to go for the most part. Second...The staff. For the most part they were friendly, but I arrived in the very early AM and the night attendant almost seemed like they would rather not deal with checking me in (sorry--our system is in the middle of an update...You're going to have to wait 15 minutes before I can check you in). Third...Overall condition of the property. Not bad, but definitely shows signs of wear and tear and could use a good refresh. Fourth...The room. It was a nice enough room, but was equipped as an accessible room with an adjoining room, neither of which I had asked for. The bench in the shower could not be completely moved out of the way, leaving the only options to either fold it down and use it or deal with it leaning out from the wall slightly. A clip to keep it folded against the wall would have been helpful. Finally...Noise. It should have tipped me off when one of the amenities in the bathroom was a set of earplugs. I was given no warning about this. Things were quiet...at first...until sirens started blaring overnight at street level down below. I was clear up on the 6th floor and could still hear them. The last night I was there (remember the adjoining room I mentioned) the group in the adjoining room was either very loud, or this set of adjoining doors had the worst noise isolation characteristics in the world. Probably a combination of both. I finally had to call the front desk and ask them to send someone up. I hate to be "that guy" but this Hampton really let me down overall.

I wish I could come up with something nice to say about this place, but there really isn't anything nice about it. A mediocre hotel. The view was okay. Mildew in grout on tub. Furniture in ratty condition. Room smelled musty/old. Tub drain clogged. Towels thread bare and had burnt linen smell. Elevator to garage was old and dirty.

We spoke to 3 different people on the phone and they were all rude and unhelpful to the point that we cancelled our stay and stayed at the doubletree where EVERYONE we spoke with was helpful and the request for double beds specifically which was the simple request we had was met with a no problem and see you soon. The 3 Marriott women were very rude and said it wasn't their job. Stay at the Doubletree they are friendly and give you delicious cookies!!!

Had booked this room months in advance. Called the week of our stay to confirm our reservation and notify them we would be a late check in. At check in they no longer had a room for us, and sent us to another hotel nearby where we were given a king bed for multiple people. The room was really expensive, and we ended up getting something less than satisfactory.
Close proximity to every major item in downtown Cleveland. Easy walk to the Browns stadium. This Sunday morning breakfast buffet continue to run out of food. You would be waiting in line and get up where the food is and trays would all be empty
Just very expensive for less than 24 hours in the hotel and it cost me over $300 for the room and the valet parking was $25 per day which totaled $50, to park my car for 27 hours. Arrived at 11:30 am left the next day at 2:30 pm.
The staff were extremely gracious and tried to meet all needs. Not just the front desk staff but everyone we encountered in the hotel. They were a pleasure. The "systems" at the property did not work smoothly. Check in BASED ON RESERVATIONS THROUGH KAYAK did not work. The reservation THROUGH KAYAK was not accepted by the property's computer, despite print outs of the reservation information. It took more than 40 minutes to straighten out. Eventually, we told the staff to just check us in instead of having us stand around in the lobby and when it is straightened out, tell us. Another system that did not work well was room cleanliness -- this should be a 'checklist' task: before a room is logged as cleaned and ready for a new guest, someone should check to see that the towels are clean and all appropriate supplies are present. Something as obvious as a missing box of tissues -- an empty holder is not hard to spot. Then, when a guest asks that it be replaced, there should be a flag on the request with a system to ensure that the task is completed. It was not. The same with the facilities. The exercise room was missing items marked as present, such as clean ear-phones. The exercise bike was broken but not marked as such, suggesting no one on staff knew about it. These are all minor points but this is a facility that should not have these issues. They are minor but also very easy to address.
The breakfast that was included was phenomenal.

It was close to the Cleveland airport. The room was clean and quiet. The desk clerk was very efficient and helpful. I did not know ahead of time that they had a "park-and-fly" option. I would have used it.
Nice place, friendly/helpful staff, easy to walk to great places. The Flats is a great place to use as a base for exploring when you flee to the Cleve. When I got drunk I forgot which elevator bank went to my room and which went to the parking garage. I guess you can't fault the hotel for that.
Loved the rooms...not very large but very efficient and comfy!
The location was good, walking distance to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, which is what we came into town to see. The room was a little small, but they made great use of the space. Everything was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. There was a market attached to the back of the hotel where we got lunch for a more reasonable price than if we had probably found a resturant. Because we were only there for one night they offered us a reasonably priced alternative for parking. We would stay here again if we eve came back. It was next to the Amtrak track, and so was a little more noisy than expected. Bit since I normally wear earplugs to sleep anyway, it wasn't really an issue. Also, there was no dresser, just a small closet, which might be a bigger issue for someone staying more than one night, but wasn't a huge issue for us.
The hotel was very nice and the staff was very accommodating. I really appreciated the snack and refreshments area as I was able to grab a quick snack after a late night of working. The price was very fair. The room was comfortable and clean, and I got a very nice view of the lake after marking view as a preference. The only thing I did not like was the party vibe that the hotel seemed to support. Their W XYZ bar stayed open until 2 am and guests returning from their adventures out or at the bar were very noisy returning to their rooms. This is not really the hotel's fault, but guests obviously felt like they could be loud and disruptive after a night of partying, and I think this speaks to the hotel's atmosphere.
It was new and a ok location. Staff was great. The pillows had a make up stain on them when we showed up. Tlake to a guest acrsss the hall from us and his room was dirty as well. It was so load at night. The bathroom doors are sliding barn doors and you can hear other rooms using the bathroom all night. We will not be back at this hotel
Staff was very nice, and the building was sleek and modern. The Aloft might have been better for a businessperson looking to make a quick stop in town. The room was very, very small, and the train (our room was on the opposite side of the building, away from the train and overlooking the courtyard/office building) shook the room. All in all, it was ok--but I think we could have had a better experience for what we paid.
Not much actually. The yellow stains on the linens. Other stains on the furniture I am hoping were not bodily fluids. The thermostat for the a/c did not work, and after an hour, I figured out how to manually turn it on. Not a very professional establishment. Checking into the front desk was like buying a ticket to a funhiuse.
The check in and out was fast and friendly. The rooms were nicely appointed and new. The bedding was comfortable and the view of Lake Erie was fantastic. Many restaurants close by. Complimentary coffee in the Morning. No complimentary breakfast at this location.

Located by highway Drive in got lost, signs weren't visible at night. We arrived and parking was limited and far from hotel, long walk in with tired toddler. They didn't have the room I booked with two beds, slept as a family in king.. Light was out in room, and the a.c/heating unit was loud and turned on and off all night. There must have been a kids hockey game because there were hockey kids running all day and night.. Very loud and hard to sleep because they kept waking my toddler. Shampoo smelt like hippies and the light bulb blew and got glass on the floor. The second day they came to change the first broken light bulb and had to changed the whole fixture... While my family sat and watched the over half hour process... The pool and hot tub was filled with rambunctious kids... While their mothers sat and drank beer... The sign clearly stated no kids in hot tub under sixteen... They were young... Like single digits... Rest past eight am was not happening. The walls are paper thin... The staff was nice.. But the stay was not... Disappointing for a crown plaza... Very disappointing
