Cons:Got the run around. Had to pay additional cab fare because terminal location was closed for the day. Was told to return to main airport and subsequently tried to charge us 3x the original amount.Reviewed Aug 22 2019

Pros:Staff on the phone helping make modification to rental and at pick up point were helpful, friendly and efficient.Cons:I know it’s the busy season and this was a one way rental but very expensive for a few hour rental.Reviewed Aug 9 2019

Pros:I regularly use national for all my business travel. They have great cars and great customer service when you BOOK THROUGH NATIONAL.Cons:National had originally told me they didnt have any cars, however I was able to book one through kayak. After booking with kayak my company contract with them was somehow no longer valid even though I had to still pay and do everything through National.Reviewed Jun 23 2019

A rental nightmarePros:Turning the car in at Seattle was as should have been.Cons:Overpriced!!! $630 for 2 days. We went to the National counter at Vancouver, and were told that they did not handle my rental. That I had to go to the South terminal. No instructions on how to get to the South terminal were given. We went around the airport lugging 5 suitcases and an infant for over 1 1/2 hours until a bus driver told us how to get to the remote terminal. I will avoid renting from National ever again.Reviewed Aug 30 2018

Receiving my carPros:Received a complimentary upgrade based on the fact that my car class was not availableCons:Transaction was completed with the agent but needed to wait while the manager handled the process of picking out my vehicle. I worked as a manager in rental car for 10 years and found this practice a bit strange. Also, we were asked to initial the vehicle inspection BEFORE we received and saw the car. This should never happen. The inspection should be done WITH the customer before they get the car. NATIONAL should know better than this.Reviewed Aug 26 2018

Pricing InconsistencyCons:When I arrived I was quoted a price of C$680 (CAD) when I had originally been quoted C$420 (CAD) when I reserved it. When I questioned the woman told me the price was the price. Awful experience. I will not be using this service again.Reviewed Jan 4 2017
