Cons: Of course the construction. Banging pounding nailing going on with the expansion. The air conditioning was loud while trying to sleep it made the loudest sounds.

Pros: The proximity to the convention center and civic hall was crucial for my team's stay and this property is next to both. The accomadations and staff were excellent. I would recommend splurging a little fir the concierge lounge.
Pros: Top notch hotel. Clean, newly remodeled, all amenities & on site restaurants etc
Cons: The valet. He did not specify pricing of valet vs self park or exactly where self park was located.
Pros: Room was very quiet, even with all of the airplane traffic on approach to San Jose Airport.
Pros: Had a problem with the first room but they helped me switch rooms no questions asked
Pros: Great room overall, clean hotel in excellent location. Close to shops, food, and activities. Great service and friendly staff. Convenient parking (though it costs extra even without valet) garage connected to the hotel. Only a block away from Original Joe's. Despite a few quirks, I would stay here again.
Cons: Charge for WiFi (unless you are an Elite member), ridiculous prices for snack shop food and goods ($5 for a Dairy Milk candy bar, $6 for an Odwalla Smoothie!), $45 for a t-shirt! Also, the hotel smells like the air freshener they pipe in at many of the Las Vegas hotels (could be a plus if you like that). Also, the choice of "aromatherapy" soaps are awful--why not go the clean, fresh scent of soap instead of burned wood?
Cons: Pay WiFi with speed tiers.
Pros: Excellent location, top choice for San Jose. Walking distance to major attractions and night life in the area. Excellent VTA transit access as well. Also consider the Hilton and Fairmont nearby.
Valet parking is $29 with in/out privileges. This is a reasonable price for the area.
Cons: The valet service was overwhelmed since the hotel had no self park option. Plus, the valet was serving guests who weren't even staying at the hotel but attending a concert or conference in the area. It's a bit ridiculous that it takes 20 minutes to drop off a car with valet and another 20 minutes to pick it up.
Pros: I really Liked its location, we were attending a event at the convention center and the hotel is actually leads into the convention center. That was great! We didn't have to walk at all. All staff members were extremely nice and willing to offer any help that they could offer. The hotel was very busy due to the event, but the staff still dealt with customers in a very polite and friendly manner. I also wanted to say thank you to this hotel for not treating us any different than there other guest, we have been to other hotels and due to our ethnic background have been treated like we were some how less. This hotel did an excellent job treating everybody well and respectively Thank you so much!
Cons: Some of the things that we weren't so pleased with that room service had certain hours and that it wasn't 24 hours and that the rooms were a little smaller than what we excepted. But overall we had a great experience

Pros: Great amenities with pool/workout room/ and arcade, clean, and spacious rooms
Cons: Room had a little of a smoke smell and I'd pass on the bar area.
Pros: Loved how nice the staff was from the initial entrance of the hotel. The room was lovely and very clean.
Cons: Bathtub not very big for the suite. But that's out of their control.
Pros: The free breakfast is great every time we stay here. The rooms are big, location is perfect, and the bartenders make good drinks.
Cons: The bar closed too early for us. We went back around 10 pm after the Sharks game and it was already all closed up on a Saturday night.
Pros: Good breakfast and the room was nice for a short stay. The lobby and common areas were very nice. Front desk staff was very nice, fast, and efficient.
Cons: Room was rough around the edges. Traffic sounds from the highway were very loud in the room. The bathroom needed some repairs - the shower was nearly impossible to turn on the valve was so stiff. Bar staff was slow and rude.
Pros: I liked the drink coupon. The service was great . Our room was very nice and clean.
Cons: There was too many kids around . The pool was kinda of tiny and dirty. I saw dead fly and a bandaid so I didn't get in the pool.
Pros: The rooms are nice
Cons: Smelt like smoke on the 5th floor. Not a lot but too much!
Pros: Breakfast Buffet was very convenient especially for families
Cons: Small bathrooms
Pros: Super nice room. Very friendly staff
Cons: Entire hotel was full of kids...baseball league
Pros: Staff was excellent.
Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Room and bath look worn and dated.
Linens were worn and had holes.
Pros: Very comfortable. I wanted to stay longer.
Pros: Very friendly staff, suites with 2 flat screen tv's, immaculate rooms, nice linens and toiletries.

Pros: The in hotel restaurant & free parking was great.
Cons: They gave my pre-paid room with 2 beds, away to someone else because they double booked rooms. Horrible!
Pros: Room was excellent, except my city view was a view of the stadium. Can't really complain about that though it was fine. They even sent up a bathrobe to my room when I asked.
Cons: There was some youth convention going on which wasn't really a problem. However it took me a while to get on the elevator to get to my room
Cons: Was given a double bed instead of a king. Uncomfortable and had to sleep in two different beds
Pros: The design of the hotel is amazing! I love the modern feel and everything feels new.
Cons: Downside was I came on a day where teenagers called "future business laws of America" were staying for the weekend. They were loud and obnoxious in the hallways, elevators, and at the pool. It seemed like I could never get away from them!
Pros: Amazing views, great service and great bar
Pros: The staf was extremely accommodating and friendly. the food in the restaurants was of excellent quality and the Lounge Bar was an excellent place to relax and grab a light meal. The room was large and perfect for my business trip.
Cons: I liked everything about this hotel

Pros: Hotel itself was great; extremely comfortable bed, very clean, and free parking was a triple plus.
Cons: Reserved a double bed and was given a single king. They offered a fold up bed to make up for the mistake because there were no double bed rooms available. Last thing I wanted to do was share a bed with a friend on our weekend getaway.
Pros: Great staff, very clean and has very good facilities.
Cons: A bit far from all the attractions.

Pros: We were very impressed with the staff all around, reception, bellmen, cleaning staff etc.
Cons: Lots and lots of hidden fees that will drive up your bill significantly.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, upscale, great location in heart of city near restaurants, businesses, arena, light rail, freeway. Wonderful accomodations. Easy check- and check-out.
Cons: Expensive parking. We parked in a garage one block from the hotel to avoid unreasonable $26 nightly fee. Most big cities charge this much, and higher, but why do have to shrug our shoulders and say, "that"s just the way it is". It feels like the baggage fees on the airlines.
Pros: Clean rooms with feel of knowing they are clean
Cons: Ac went out. Super hot. Small beds
Pros: Fancy, various locations to eat and enjoy yourself with partner and great America in a 13 min drive distance just a great stay after all and great valet service
Cons: Beware of an extra 100$ charge at check in just in case you break anything in the hotel but will be refunded after check out and line is to long with no one trying to help them out to make the line go faster
Pros: A property in the Fairmont family. Being in historical downtown next to sites of value. Relying on amenities of a high end hotel which did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful in all encounters.
Cons: Extra fees for wifi these days seems unnecessary. Having to use hotel cards to go between tower and main facility (although security is appropriate).
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable and did not have enough covers
shower was outdated and shower head was cheap
No coffee station in room
Cons: Staff at the door
Pros: Can't really think of anything.
Cons: 1. Room was dated.
2. Room with a view had no view.
3. Parking was expensive.
4. Hotel had no charm or allure (other than the advertised picture).
Pros: Walking distance to downtown San jose & Staff was great
Pros: I liked that it was downtown close to bars, clubs and restaurants.
Pros: Great hotel, room and staff! Got free upgrade upon arrival and an extra 1/2 hour checkout time so we could go to the next door art museum without a hassle.
Pros: Wonderful environment, great Beds close to San Jose Convention Center. Very Friendly Staff, impecible Service.

The Fairmont San Jose combines technological innovation with timeless elegance. A short drive will take you to 30 wineries and the famous Monterey Peninsula golf courses. In the heart of northern California's largest city The Fairmont San Jose blends historic grandeur with all the high-tech excitement of Silicon Valley.
Pros: Breakfast and evening reception were great. Staff was pretty friendly.
Cons: Night staff didn't want to make change for me. The room was just a single room, not a 2-room suite like every other Embassy Suites I've visited. Ran out of towels at pool.
Cons: Left specific instructions that were not followed through
Cons: The staff really needs to monitor the noise level of the kids staying at the hotel while attending sports tournaments. I had to call the front desk EVERY night due to kids yelling in the halls after 10 PM!
Pros: Location. very strategic and close to convention center
Cons: The price is ridiculous, too high for a mediocre room, large, but very old and noisy.
Cons: From the moment you enter the lobby, the blast of painted-over, allegedly-renovated cigarette-saturated waft almost knocks you off your feet. Even the "renovated" rooms feature popcorn ceilings and the stench is unbearable. Guess they should have burned it to the down and started over. I will ever stay in an Embassy Suites again.
Pros: At least once a year, our girls will have a dance competition/convention down the road at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We always choose to stay here instead of the hotels that are a bit closer. It's quieter, roomier, and besides, it only takes 5 minutes to drive to the convention center. (You could spend 5 minutes just waiting for an elevator at the other hotel!) The complimentary breakfast is excellent, and definitely a plus! We'll certainly come back again!
Pros: Location and all the amenities was great! Our room was wonderful. Got a bit concerned about noise because our room was close to the elevator and vending machines, but we hardly heard any noise. Tony at the front desk was very helpful and gave great customer service. Thank you Tony!
Pros: Location was close to the airport and the larger room was nice. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The room was not clean. Hair on bed and in bed sheets, hair in bathroom and it had a smell that resembled an unclean room. The t.v. Did not have any pay per view movies for the kids or is to watch. Only cable. The pool was dirty and had a horrible smell of dirty gym socks mixed with too much chlorine. Hot tub was luke warm and cloudy. Pool was also cloudy. The lobby was not as nice as other Embassy Suites.

Pros: In town for Dave Koz concert at Villa Montalvo. Great service all the way around. Made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Only thing missing: not enough towels and pillows could have been more comfortable.
Pros: We had an unexpected overnight stay in the area and saw the positive hotel reviews online. Modern updated lobby, clean. No frills room. Near freeway but feels secure. Across parking lot from a couple of chain restaurants. In the morning, staff gave recommendation for super breakfast location down the road. Very pleased overall.
Pros: Employees were very friendly and helpful. The location was great! Nice hotel for the price and location.
Cons: The chair in the room was a little dirty.
Pros: Proximity to buisiness event; quiet
Cons: Resturant not open
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located for car access to Santana Row and the Valley Fair Shopping Mall and has onsite parking facilities. The room was nice and comfortable but nothing fancy. We stayed there as we wanted to be close to the shopping areas.
Pros: Staff was fantastic and the hotel was very nice
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable..hard pellows and not a comfortable matress. The tv and dvd player were both borken..repoted to staff and they were unable to do anything. Also the almost 200 dollar hold on my card was not expected.
Pros: Location was perfect for us and the place is warm and attractive with a very professional and helpful staff.
Pros: Very well situated place in the center of Silicon Valley. At least, the "Club Level" is of very high quality considering the price of the room.
Cons: At the hotel itself, the dining service is not top-grade but sufficient. Anyway, the place is rounded by lot of restaurants.
Pros: Although we arrived late in the evening (about 10:30), we were greeted by the upbeat and friendly front desk staff, who quickly took care of checking us in. Not long after we got into our room, we received a call to check that all was well. We requested extra towels and they arrived in less than 10 minutes. The beds, pillows and bedding were 1st class and very comfortable. Our room was quiet and nicely appointed.
Pros: Nice rooms and very friendly staff
Cons: there were a lot of noise during the night (of other guests)

Pros: The night staff, Diane, was what made my stay. She was professional, friendly, welcoming and everything you could want in customer service. I will be returning home just because of the treatment she gave me!
Cons: The only negative was the original room we were in made a horrible noise but it was rectified and we were moved to a different room
Pros: friendly, welcoming staff. after a long day of walking San Francisco, we were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel had a hot tub. much needed.
this was a last minute booking as well so I booked the cheapest thing I could find the day of the stay. I took a chance because the review suck. I hope yall see this because it's a wonderful hotel.
there is a massive breakfast bar included, the rooms are newly renovated, and there is a lovely hot tub.
Pros: Very helpful staff
Pros: the staff was super friendly, helpful, aware of our needs because my husband is handicap, we really appreciate. We love the breakfast it was great, we didn't need to go out. thank you. especially at the lady in the front desk name Adriana S. We know we will be back the Hartfield's
Cons: We like everything
Pros: Staff was super friendly and nice. They accommodated an early check in and a late checkout for me. Everything was clean and tidy. They reminded me there would be a fine for smoking in the room but the room already smelled like smoke, as if it had previously been a smoking wing.
Cons: Cigarette smell in room was not pleasant.
Pros: Pool, clean landscape and breakfast
Cons: AC in room smelled terrible, noisy doors banging at 6am and building construction
Pros: Free breakfast in the morning along with the breakfast hours.
Cons: Funny smell in the elevator and hallways.
Pros: close to highway
Cons: too old and noisy

Cons: Desk personnel missed a 4:00 AM . wake-up call.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and spacious.
Cons: The walls were far too thin, you could hear everything. We were near the elevator and head it go up and down all night. The fire alarms kept going off late at night which the staff called "testing." Not enough parking to support the guests. Also the computers and staff aren't stellar. I've been charged now 3 times for the hotel and am still fighting the charges with a staff that mixed up my credit card with a strangers and wasn't very supportive of trying to find a solution. I would never stay here again.
Pros: Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. They were very accommodating in getting us a pack and play for our infant daughter.
Cons: No wash cloths. Vending was stupid expensive. Continental breakfast is extremely minimal, not a benefit worth advertising.
Pros: I liked the bed it was comfortable!
Cons: The room smell pretty bad, the front door didn't work properly it kept getting stuck to open it, and the cleaning people had their car in the middle of the hallway with stuff sticking out and didn't let people go through and didn't even care about people needing to go through!!
Pros: The staff were friendly and changed our room when we complained about the door jamming
Rooms were clean and the hotel was mostly quiet
Cons: Breakfast wasn't good.
The door to our room frequently jammed
Internet was slow and randomly cut out
Tried the room service and it was terrible
Pros: Nice room comfortable bed.
Cons: Breakfast was nothing special. Quality inns have better breakfast
Pros: The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They let me check in early after a long drive to rest and clean up for a late afternoon appointment.
Cons: The coffee pot in the room was broken.
Pros: Well-appointed kitchen, full-sized fridge. Regular plates and silverware for two.
Good location in Campbell for Silicon Valley business travel. It's right by San Tomas Expressway and El Paseo de Saratoga.
Clean, nice room (modestly proportioned, though).
HD TV and DVD player; remote that came with the TV (not with a red button that sells you hotel services and other nonsense).
Common jacuzzi. I didn't partake, but it was in service and looked ok from my window, if you don't mind a jacuzzi that visible from a hotel window.
Small, but decent lounge (the usual plush furniture and TV near the smallish lobby).
Convenient in-house self-serve laundry facility (didn't try it, but it looked serviceable).
Cons: Continental breakfeast left a little to be desired; "Eggo-ish" waffles and pre-made French toast.
Wi-Fi doesn't allow uPNP. That doesn't seem like much of a problem for most people, but it means that Chromecast and similar devices won't work with the TV. That'll be a bigger deal in the future, when slingboxes are more common.

Pros: The newly renovated rooms and baths are simple and elegant. The Hedley Club lounge serves good food & cocktails. Conveniently located in downtown San Jose, short walk to Convention center.
Cons: The room lacked many standard amenities:
1) password protected, high speed Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi was free, slow and unsecured)
2) in room safe large enough to fit a laptop
3) stocked mini-bar (empty mini-fridge provided but there were no vending machines or in hotel shop to buy snacks & drinks)
4) in room guide/magazine with local/city info
Pros: room service was delicious and fast. Stay was very comfortable. Beautiful large bathroom. Great location.
Pros: We loved the late night pantry
Pros: The bathrooms were well furnished... Better than the actual rooms. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: True price I paid was not worth the room. It was a very crampt room with ancient furniture. The rooms were a boring shade of beige and our window view was another building being constructed. It's layout seemed more that of a comfort inn with a price tag of 90 dollars a night rather than 150. It's not worth the price, if you have a car go to a comfort inn and save some money cause got the same experience.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean/comfortable room.
Cons: It wasn't too close to anything spectacular, but it was close enough to drive everywhere.
Pros: Had a sink inside the room
Cons: Sheets werent clean feeling. Had to request other sheets. This place seemed to attract shady type of hotel guests and individuals who seemed to hover around the parking lot.
Pros: The lady who worked in the eating area was so nice. It was great seeing her every morning.
Cons: The front window had a bullet hole and staff were unaware of it. There was also a silicone object, possibly from a bra and must have been there from the previous guests. Next morning we woke up and were gone all day and came home to an unmade bed.
Pros: My favorite feature was the separation wall between the beds. It gave me and my son privacy . That was an unexpected pleasure. Also, enjoyed the charging station for your electronic devices, phones and tablets. My son who is 13 years old, enjoyed swimming
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about this hotel. Even the breakfast was nice. In fact, my family has decided to make this the place to go when we are in town for our Jehovah Witness assembly's. Making the event even more special.
Pros: Great Location for us , really good breakfast ,wifi great ,worth every penny. Love to stay in same place when ever go back this area .
Pros: Great quite location, near mall and restaurants, easy access to highway, central location, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean rooms.
Pros: Room was clean, staff was friendly.
Cons: Parking was empy all day, and full in the evening. I ran out to eat and came back to zero parking.
Cons: I liked it all
Every staff member we met was friendly and the front desk staff was efficient and helpful.
Pros: Close to perfect. The room was spacious with a plethora of electrical outlets. They serve coffee 24 hours/day and the breakfast hours are long with a variety of hot and cold foods.
Cons: Ice is only available on the ground floor.
Pros: Staff was friendly and the location was really accessible and close to many major areas. The pool area was nice too.
Cons: The complimentary continental breakfast had many options but nothing really tasted fresh, and the hot breakfast items were all in one tray so you had to use the same utensils to grab the pork (bacon/sausage) as everything else, contaminating it for us.
I love it besides the smell in the room
Pros: The pool area and the suite
Cons: I love the suite but as soon asi walked in there was a nasty smell I couldn't explain ... Really strong
