Customer service was horrible. They did not honor the reservation and stated they did not have the size car available and would not offer an upgrade. I left without a rental car.

Pros:

The staff was courteous and the pickup and drop off went quickly.

Cons:

If they could answer the phone at that location. I called the number at the location and it was answered eventually by the 1-800 location call center.

Had the vehicle clean Had staff that’s not incredibly rude Not being downsized without knowledge Not having to drive 45 away to exchange unclean vehicle Not having my drop off time the same time as a closing time. Charging my card for additional day and now I have to wait a week for a refund

Cons:

The owner was very rude and arrogant. I have him recorded on video saying he works for himself, he said his office is not hertz. I was shown the car I would be getting on the app,on the day I was picking up I was given a different car with no apologies,he arrogantly told me that I should pick the car available or forget about it. He was also rude to the lady behind me with her kids. I have a video of the interaction I had with him. So if my booking was not hertz,who or what company rented the car to me? He didn’t know I paid for insurance and liability,he was asking if I wanted to buy insurance and liability, I told him I already bought it on hertz website. The location is not befitting for a hertz,it wasn’t what I was expecting or envisaged my first experience with hertz would turn out.

Pros:

Staff was completely useless. I got there and they didn’t have the truck I reserved; they did nothing to accommodate my situation. I was left stranded with no options. They made no calls to other locations, they literally did nothing. This is the second time Hertz has done something like this. I strongly recommend Enterprise for your rental.

Actually having the vehicle I reserved.
