I loved how nice the room was for the price ! Very close to the Sam Houston race park, so it was perfect for anyone who went to Something Wicked festival with a budget. Would recommend to anyone. Parking was limited and not enough spaces for all the cars.
The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very stark and have no home appeal at all.
The staff was very helpful. there is a pool and a jaccuzzi, also some stores close by. I would recommend this motel. It was pretty hard to get to the hotel, we had to take a cab from Downtown, which is not that cheap...
I liked the size of the room and the fact that there was a refridgerator and microwave. The king size bed was also nice. I had a non-smoking room but the room and bedding always smelled of cig. smoke. I think it must come through the vents or something.
The pool and the very kind young man who over saw the customer counter in the evening. Our room was none smoking -smelled of smoke and air freshner. Upon requesting a second room key, We were told we could not have a second. When asked why she said they were too busy. No one was checking in and it was around 1:00 in the afternoon. We asked later for a second room key we were told that too many people take them as souviners. Finally they gave us a second key but it was made clear to us it must be returned or there would be a 5 dollar fine. We did not have internet connections. We were told to use the lobby. Then offered another room as a result but we could not have until the next day. The second room had internet but smelled of smoke w/ air freshner.
The hotel was walking distance of my destination and the staff was very helpful. Helped me find my destination and also a place for dinner. I plan on staying there again very soon.
The room was ok. The hotel was located nearby the space center and the bay area. You need a car to reach the hotel and everything in the area can only be reached by car (also restaurants, bars, etc.)
Literally 3 minutes from NASA, and the desk had discounted tickets for sale. Clean and comfortable for a budget hotel. Friendly staff. Several restaurants and stores nearby. Enjoyed the pool and the mini-fridge. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. Pictures shown are accurate. Cramped bathroom. Time for new carpet. Pressure wash the exterior. Still, a great place in this price range.
Best breakfast I had in last vizit US. But not every day, only weekends (?). Clean, quiet rooms. Wakl distance to NASA centre. Little bit expensive for counry motel.
Great location for visiting nasa. Breakfast was good, crowded dining area. Our room was good except the carpet was very dirty. Small pool but very clean and refreshing!
I liked the location, the airco, the pool, the breakfast, the bed, the fridge, the microwave, the bathroom, the TV and the roomservice. In one of the rooms the airco wasn't functioning very well.
HOTEL WAS DIRTY FROM THE STAINED EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM TO THE SMELL, BOOKED ANOTHER HOTEL AND DID NOT STAY
Airport convenient location. Free continental breakfast. Worn out room. Strange soapy cover up smell in room. and hallways
They ripped us off. They lie about everything everytime we've called; to get picked up, who is responsible for refunds, and other things. They should be in jail for the way they do business.
Really decent for such a low price. Really big bed and comfortable, A/C was just how I liked it. For me being a teen they actually had a channel that I liked. No bugs in the room, no roaches, nothing. It was decent but not the best hotel around. But definitely a cheap hotel to go to especially if you don't want to sleep with bed bugs or creatures in your room For one night we only paid $48.25. The first hotel I went to that didn't have porn channels. Thank god. Towels had stains, bed cover had holes, bathroom needed improvement. Room was non-smoking but smelled like someone was smoking in there.
For a cheap motel, it wasn't entirely awful. The rooms were clean and there was a microwave/fridge. Nice shower. I would not recommend the pool, it smells weird. Pretty sure all of their licenses to operate they had in the front office were expired. Right next to a "Cabaret" which I didn't know before hand (aka titty bar) so that definitely has an impact on the hotel population. They can probably fix the hotel up a bit, make it much nicer if they tried, but it looked like they were very under-staffed. Would not take my kids there again, but if I needed someplace cheap to stay for myself I wouldn't mind. I've seen much worse.
In a world where cheap motels are $100/night, when you find one for $48 you expect disaster; squalor. When i opened the door on the room for the first time my jaw hit the floor. The pergo wood floor. The first thing that struck me was the long, sleek design. It was a very large room with a lot of space at the entry. A very large orange accent wall and opposing orange accent wall stretched down past the king size bed, flatscreen tv, fridge, and microwave to a mirror, hanging over an EXTREMELY kitschy 60s built in table and leather booth. The bathroom and separate mirror/sink behind were standard motel. The cool, crisp air instantly struck relief, thanks to the digital air conditioner visibly set to 66°. This very large, comfortable, clean room left me wondering why anyone would ever pay for a luxury suite. I highly recommend this motel to anyone. There is one Directv™ satellite for 100+ rooms, resulting in very poor picture quality for thr television, however we were able to watch a couple of movies and it was tolerable. It was 90° at night but the pool was closed. The gate was still closed at 12 noon when i went down. I was told it would be opened in about ten minutes. In such extreme weather, sn early morning swim or nightswimming would be heavenly. There is no lifeguard anyway, so... why not let it be unlocked? The door was a little hard to open.
Cleanliness of the room
Clean room, large & spacious. Front desk clerk pleasant, restaurants & convenience stores nearby, very quiet room considering the busy area. $44 a night for a clean bed & place to shower is a good deal. Very busy parking lot, lots of big 18 wheelers; super hard to find since sign was down-main phone number wasnt working when calling for directions. Credit card machine down so had to drive to atm nearby to get cash, even though I had reserved w credit card. What if I only had credit card & couldnt get cash?
The rooms were very clean, very quiet. Close to the downtown area, simple but enjoyable breakfast was provided. We were in town to visit family in a hospital near by so this was perfect and very convenient for us. Very simple with everything we needed. The kids were a little upset that there wasn't a pool. Also, we almost missed the street where the hotel is located. A few trees in the way but other than that it was a good night's sleep.
I suppose the best thing about it was the location. It's about a mile walk to reliant stadium, which was nice for the Houston Rodeo. "Non-smoking" room smelled like pot and had cigarette burns in the comforter.
Price was cheap. Room was very large and surprisingly clean. Location was convenient. The neighborhood wasn't the best. The customer service could have been a little better (but the staff were also understaffed and poorly trained, so not necessarily their individual fault). Furnishings were sparse but adequate.
easy to get to. good bed. had cable not sketchy at all.
Beds were hard as rock and no free WiFi like most hotel had to pay 4.99 and it was super slow
Room was changed when requested Everything about the room
Poorly functioning doors and locks, leaky facilities, mold in rhe bathroom, sound on the TV was out, consistently woken an hour before intended call. Just poor overall.
