The staff was overly friendly - literally the most positive and sweet people ever. The tooms were clean, overall nice, and perfectly functional. Such a great price for Anaheim too! I'll definitely go back there when I need a room in the area next! Really nothing to complain about. If I HAD to make a suggestion I would say the red paint color wasn't the most attractive? Lol. But really, no complaints on my need whatsoever!
Room was nice and large. Clean. Walls are thin. You could here everything outside your walls. I could not sleep at all! Was up all night! I heard the neighbors conversations as if they were in the same room as me. Also, the cleaning ladies started cleaning early. All you could here were doors opening and slamming. And laughing and talking so loudly as if they were right in my ear. I thought this was going to be a comfortable stay but it was not! It was the worst experience I have had as far as comfort due to NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff other than the front desk was wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating... the front desk staff was horrible. They didn't have our "paid" rooms, argued with us about what we had actually paid for even though we had our confirmation with the actual room description. None accommodating and down out rude.

Close to Disneyland, just a few exits away. Front desk clerk are horrible and rude. Refuse to give us the room we paid for in full on the Internet. Even though it showed our description of the room we reserved they still tried to put us in a smaller room because they said our confirmation was wrong or incorrect on behalf of the third party. We will never be here again, it ruined our entire vacation.
I like buffet breakfast and the people who prepare those foods are joyful, helpful, and very friendly. I like the smooth check-in too from friendly front-desk staff. The bathroom door lock is broken.
We were given a room across from a remodele and it was very noisy in the pm when we checked in and they started at 8 the next morning.
Breakfast My confirmation said 2 queens and a sofa. We got a cramped 2 queens and no sofa. Desk person said their copy said only 2 queens. She was not helpful. Our room was next to a residential area with loud playing teens. At one point they tossed rocks at our window on an upper floor.
The area was not good at all, however it had easy access to the 57 allowing us to get to Anaheim quickly and Yorba Linda. The room I was in was "supposedly" just remodeled so it was fairly clean and neat. The best part of the stay was the friendliness of the breakfast attendant. She was so nice and kind. Ensured the guests were happy and had everything they needed. She would even make food for guests. The breakfast was above average and a steal for being complimentary. That was the best part and the only reason I would stay again. The front desk clerk (Hispanic guy) was really rude when I asked him about a microwave for my room which my reservation said I would received. Argued with me and said he would charge me for one, although I had physical proof that I was supposed to have one. So petty for him to argue with a customer. Absolutely uncalled for and an easy fix to ensure the guest is happy. New generation I guess. He also parked his red suburban in a handicap spot and didn't have a placard. We also asked for a crib at check in. Upon check out a few days later we'd yet to get it. Both were for a newborn child. Unacceptable! The beds were ROCK HARD but after busy days met the intent of us sleeping.Was really disappointed with the desk employees attitude at check in but knowing how people are raised now a day makes it somewhat more understandable. No more of the costumer is always right and absolutely zero empathy for a newborn child.

Broken lock, staff did not seem to want to replace it as they were soon to replace the doors. However, we couldn't close the door with out considerable trouble so we insisted on lock replacement.

Rooms where clean, new and tidy. Comfortable. Breakfast was a complete mess. Too crowded, not enough food and space available at any given time, specially close to the end time, when everybody was down at the same time.

Check-in staff was not welcoming. It looked like the supervisor was teaching a new front desk employee how to use the computer, but he did not look up once to greet us. Check-out staff was also not personable. I went to ask what the check-out procedure was, and the lady at the desk just said to call them from the room. I thought it was odd that they didn't give us a receipt or mention anything else about our stay.
I liked the convenience of this being close to the freeway and major street but not set right on the busy street. It's set back just enough to be peaceful. Courteous staff. Paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling made the place look not as nice as it should be.
We had a mixed experience with the hotel. First we were given a room that was facing the outside and it was smelling real bad (all rooms are supposed to be non-smoking). Later, on repeated requests we got a nicer room. The breakfast was good. Just 6 miles from Disney and the parking is free. Overall not bad for the price. Non smoking policy is not been enforced strictly. I did not expect this from a Marriott chain. I saw people smoking in the corridors.
The hotel is only about 15 mins from Disneyland. The room was clean and equipped with all a family with small kids would need (bath tub, fridge, hair dryer, etc.). The breakfast and facilities were great too.

The rooms were small the shower leaked all night we told maintenance and they never came to fix it we heard it all night long. The woman serving breakfast was absolutely horrible and rude. The rooms smelled bad. Way to much money for this room.

The way the lobby looked was nice. My boyfriend and I came to the Hilton in Anaheim and stayed for two nights to celebrate his birthday. We have stayed at many hotels around this area because we like to go to Disneyland, and this was by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at, Mediocre looking room, lazy house keepers and horrible service. Also had to keep the a/c running at 65 degrees because if we didn't, our "non-smoking" room will begin to smell like cigarettes. Maybe it was the room next to us that smoked cigs in their room but it was very strong in ours. Upon entering the room, the tv wasn't working, had to call the front desk to send someone up to fix it, said he'd be there in 10-15 min...he shows up almost two hours later. It would've been nice to know he'd be there in 2 hours NOT 15 min. The next morning we leave our room go to breakfast at 7 am expecting that our room will be stocked with new towels and have our bed made...we come back at 4 pm and our room has NOT been replenished no one has came in to clean anything! I call the front desk and he tells me house keeping will be there in 10-15min. 20 min later nothing...I call back and tell them that I just need some towels and finally after waiting 45 min and calling twice I got my 2 towels. The showers were terrible. For starters the shower curtain kept wanting to stick to my legs and I had to place the curtain outside of the tub to prevent that, causing water to spill on the floor but at that point I was already annoyed by this curtain! Then the water took forever to warm up, and it was either SCORCHING HOT or ICE COLD for water temperature. Overall my stay was just very very disappointing. I was expecting more from a Hilton and my boyfriend wasn't happy with it either. I have never been so pissed off to the point where I'd want to write a review like this but this place is really NOT worth the amount of money you'd have to spend. (Btw they try to charge you $5 for a ride to the park when you could just walk right across the street to the Disney shuttles for free lol). I feel that I must emphasize that this place doesn't care about its guests, they just want your money. I'll come back to Anaheim and its other wonderful hotels, but I definitely won't be staying here.

We always like staying at Hilton Anaheim when we come to Disneyland. It is close enough to the shuttle parking lot that we can just walk there, saving us money we would have spent on parking. It also helps when some of us want to stay at the park longer. Those who need a break can return to the hotel to rest. The Hilton has a Starbucks and a food court. It also has a restaurant and bar. The service is great too. The room was clean and spacious. So glad there is a fridge. There was a long line at Starbucks in the morning. I guess we all wanted coffee at the same time.
We enjoyed the comfort of the bed. We especially loved the gym facility and classes offered - definitely worth the extra fee. Gift shops were nice and had needed items. It was a little pricey, but that was okay. Close to CVS and Walgreens. Nice walk to Disney. Starbucks gets very busy. Our bathroom could have been cleaner. The hotel should have complimentary wifi, like comparable area hotels.

the place was clean and very well taken care of. good location. nice rooms, except for (see what i didn't like) i was woken up at 9:00a.m. by some sort of knocking maybe caused by expanding joints or metal or possibly construction occuring in an adjacent rooom. i was in the quient wing so the knocking made it more irritating. it went on from 9:00a.m. for at least two hours. i had arrived early that morning like 1:00a.m. and hope to sleep to about 11:00a.m. but with the knocking that wasn't happening. i had to get up and get ready and leave to avoid the annoyance all together. there are many factors/expectation one has when staying at a hotel. with this particular stay i was hoping for a long and good night's sleep. the hotel failed in that respect. that was the most important aspect of that stay given my arrival time and need of a solid rest before a long drive home. disappointing!
Huge parking fee! Whatever rate you see, add $16 to it before you decide. There are other options in 1~2miles with better value and free parking. Moreover, Hilton has no breakfast, while others do.

Clean very well maintained lobby/bar/restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bedding was clean and cozy. Location was good. Shower was horrible. The water was either hot hot or cold cold. U could not get warm water no matter what time of day (morning, late morning or late at night). The ceiling in the shower had peeling paint and drywall (leaving a hole in the ceiling) Room was in need of some updating. Restaurant was way over priced. $16 a day for parking
The only pros to this location are the location and the beds. I have never received such poor customer service at a 4 star hotel. My husband and I called around noon day of our reservation to confirm that we wouldn't lose our room and were reserved for a king size bed, we provided our confirmation # and were reassured that our 7pm estimated arrival wouldn't affect anything. Turns out that was a miscommunication. After being placed in a double room directly across from the elevators, we returned to the front desk to rectify the situation. The employee whom helped us was completely lacking in compassion, barely looked at us, and treated us as if our requests were a bother to her. After being told they were fully booked, we then asked that we at least be placed in a quieter area. The 2nd room was directly across from the ice machine and had a rattling AC vent. We then returned down to the front desk, because if you try to call your phone call goes unanswered, and asked to speak to a manager in order to explain our frustrations. He also was not accommodating and treated us unkindly, in fact he harshly told us that that is "what we get" for booking through a third party site. Finally after his departure, the poor employee whom received us that 3rd time, expressed her surprise that he didn't help us and chose to rectify the situation herself placing us in another king size bed room at the end of a hallway. (She had noticed the amount of times we had returned to the front desk). There is no excuse for the miscommunication and levels of customer service we received from this establishment.

Very nice hotel with an excellent garden. Conveniently located near Disney. We could watch the fireworks from our hotel room. Our bathroom sink and shower would not drain.
Large clean rooms , nice atmosphere, pool area spacious and lots of seating. Our room we were in #1180 was adjacent to an elevator which was very loud early in the morning and at night. I would recommend not getting this room. We liked the hotel other than that.
Very nice and spacious rooms. Hotel is very pretty and has a nice layout. Every staff member I came in contact with was very nice, informative, and accommodating. Kids and parents next to us were arguing and screaming for 2 hours. Walls seemed very thin or they were extremely loud.

I Was a little put off by some of the negative reviews but we found it to be an excellent place to stay with no problems great room and staff. Room service was fast and of excellent quality and their shuttles were on time and ran quickly and efficiently The only thing that I disliked was the $16 per day charged for parking. As a guest at a hotel I thought that them charging this fee was wrong and disrespectful of the customer that had chosen their hotel over many many other options
As we pulled up my kids said, "are we staying in a castle"? we loved how big the rooms were and how accommodating the hotel was with providing us with a crib so we didn't have I travel with our own.

It was quiet. Clean. Swimming pool and spa were great. Staff was friendly. The grounds were beautiful, fish pond, lots of secluded area to hang out in. No MICROWAVE in the room, shower had no water pressure, tub drained real slow.
Reasonably close to Disneyland, and the linens were clean. Our "renovated room" had a bizarrely small bathroom, and the door to the garden (we were on the first floor) had such poor insulation that it sounded like the door was open.

I really like the staff there was a young lady that helped me at the desk she was amazing. I had booked thru a third party and there was some errors she corrected them and got me adjoining rooms for my kids that drive in the next day.
LOCATION the rooms under the rate that you offer me, are old and dirty rooms. this situation happened to me several times. On front desk, as soon as they saw that my reservation is mad by you, they make me feel like low profile customer.

There were ants in my bathroom on the day I arrived and I told about that to the people at the lobby but housekeeping never came within 20 minutes, which they promised. When I left I told them what happened but they never did anything to compensate for the filthy bathroom that I got. Very disappointed.
After discussing with manager Francisco for some time he reluctantly offered some compensation other than a token $50. The convention center is right out the front door and parking is the best for the Anaheim convention center. I prepaid for my room over 3 months in advance and Marriott decided they could make more money by selling my already paid for and booked room to someone else and then tell I'm sorry. So after having my money, making interest on it they then sold the same room to someone else at a higher price and said sorry we don't have a room for you, sorry for the inconvenience. We'll put you (my wife, kids and myself) in another hotel away from your convention where you are an exhibitor, cosplaying and on panels. Unfortunately this is the 4th time in a row that Marriott has severely under performed. This is no longer an isolated incident but a complete brand change from the Marriott I have always know. I would rate them at a 2 star at best with the new corporate image they have chosen. However the alternate hotel where they referred my Hyatt House was awesome. I wish they were at the convention center and I had booked with them. Marriott said I will have to contact Kayak to get refunded on the night that that Marriott did not have a room for me. Just one more hassle and present from Marriott for me. Oh and they gave me a "I'm sorry give bag" in the room with a different guest name on (evidently they did this to a min of 5 other individuals) and the 4 little chocolates we so awful that my 8 year old sone who will eat anything asked me if he could spit it out in the trash. I of course said yes and I had the same simultaneous reaction. I'll leave it at this.
We were a couple wanting a king size bed, which we reserved and the hotel gave us a room eith two doubles and would not make any accomodations for the fact that they allegedly did not have any king beds. So we opted to go somewhere else.
The balcony was a cool area. The heating/cooling unit was EXTREMELY loud! The room itself was okay, but to charge guests that are staying at the hotel $25 per night for parking is pretty ridiculous and excessive. Furthermore, this hotel still charges its guests for internet acess!!?? This is the first time I have been charged for WIFI in California is the past 5 years. Get with the times, Marriot. The hotel wasn't that great to begin with.
The hotel, staff, location, facilities and basically all needs were very well addressed and made the stay wonderful. I couldn't have found a better place to stay to make the trip to Disneyland a great experience I really have no complaints about any aspect of my stay at the hotel
Extremely close to Anaheim convention center where I was attending a trade show. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Comfortable lobby bar for relaxation after a day on the trade show floor. Good restaurant and food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any business traveler.
Great staff nice rooms. The engineer who replaced the air conditioner was awesome did a great job to save us on a hot weekend. The air conditioner broke had to be replaced at 10 o'clock at night. Parking is expensive.
The housekeeping staff was very efficient and really tried to accommodated my needs. Having to pay for Wi-Fi (I think it was $12.95 for regular service and $14.95 for high speed). And for parking: $24.00 per nite. I'm guessing this might be the industry standard in this area, but what a shame

I'm a Pastor and I asked for a 1pm checkout due to a wedding ceremony I was performing in Huntington Beach at 4pm. Initially I was told no problem. I called on Saturday morning to confirm and my request was denied. Staff did not apologize, offer any solutions and I was very disappointed.
The room was very large and very comfortable. The facilities were very clean and aesthetically pleasing, although I was unable to spend much time there due to a business conference I was attending. I read good things about the restaurant, however, was unable to check it out for the same reasons. I was given the opportunity to check-in before noon and to request additional towels, both of which I selected. However, upon arrival I was told that I was unable to check-in early AND that, even if possible, it would cost an additional $40. Furthermore, I did not receive additional towels. So, my question became, why even offer these things if you're not going to provide them upon request.

Everything about the hotel was really really good. It is such a good value for the money. The beds were very comfortable the room was very clean and the staff was very friendly wouldn't hesitate to stay there again anytime.
I didn't like much. My experience was horrible here. We were lied to by the staff. Due to their lies, we ended up stranded at the event we were attending. We booked this hotel specifically for the free shuttle, and even made sure of times and venue location that it would all work out. Well, it didn't and the customer service desk did NOTHING to resolve. What an awful experience! I will never stay there again!

Everything was great Clean rooms, great staff, price was just right, even the food was good ........ unfortunately there was a couple smoking pot at the stairs and the smell went inside our room I don't care if they smoke but I think they shouldn't done were there's young children around....
Friendly staff, walking distance to Disneyland Room quality and cleanliness subpar, basic amenities (rollaway bed, pack and play, wifi beyond limited speed on one day) all required an additional charge. The appeal of the price, location, and attractive online photos quickly dissipated once arriving to our actual room. Better off paying a little more for a premium hotel in the area which ends up being around the same, since they won't nickel and dime you the entire stay.

Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
Room was cute, spacious, grounds are beautiful and location is prime. Shower pressure and temperature were fantastic. Room needs updating. While cute, every panel of the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. There was a makeshift cover for the fuse box that was falling off the walls with exposed screws. Windows opened to exterior building walls. There was only 1 nightstand by the bed, no conditioner, shower cap, or tea by the coffee pot. General condition of the furnishings were old and need to be replaced. They overcharged me for parking, normally $20/car/night, and couldn't figure out what the problem was after they had already charged my card on file. Parking is a nightmare and is small and cramped.

My experience was unfortunately a very disappointing one. We checked into the hotel and upon walking into our room, discovered our remote control did not work. This was not a problem and I looked past this. The next morning I woke up to a foul smelling bathroom, the shower was filling up with septic water and spilling into our room. I spoke with maintenance and they said they would talk to the font desk about giving us a discount, especially after we paid a significant amount more for our second day there. When checking out, I was told by the front desk to wait to speak to a manager. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for said manager and finally lost my patience. I returned to the person at the front desk and they told me "Oh, you were waiting on a manager?", and then said I would have to wait for them longer because they were "helping another guest, OR busy with something else." I simply said thank you and walked away. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel and would hope that they read this and improve their hospitality. It is such a disappointment for having such a great location and beautiful grounds.

Location was good. It was very close to the Disneyland shuttle. The restaurant was good, and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. I dropped money, I.d., and credit cards, and Jeffery found it for me. Thanks Jeffery!! The walls and ceiling were thin, and we got very little sleep. The staff was hit or miss with helpfulness and friendliness. It didn't strike me as that clean. I wouldn't stay there again.
My kids of course loved the pool It did say it was across the street from Disneyland but it was behind the park and was way to far of a walk for my grandfather just to get to entrance.
Pool Bed was uncomfortable. The hook behind the door was broken, the water sprinkler in the room look broken. Very basic hotel. WiFi didn't work. Then I was almost charged for it after I had been talking to staff about not being able to get it to work. Cable wasn't great. There is a store that sells food. We ordered a bagel and it was hard.

Location to Disneyland. The A/C did not work in the room, as soon as we walked in the hotel room there was a strong weird smell. We had to leave the sliding door open to vent out the smell. Not to mention the ants roaming freely in the room. I also noticed a flaw in security, as in I cannot recall seeing any on the premises. One is able to walk through the hotel like nothing, I did not feel safe at this hotel.
Close to Disneyland The in house restaurant has aweful service. I went when there were less than 10 customers and never had water or even saw our waiter. Other tables were requesting their waiter. Not a good experience. I wont stay here again.

Very convenient to Disneyland. Clean, comfortable hotel, felt safe there. The cooling/heating system can only do either air conditioning or heating. I was cold and had to get a space heater to heat the room.

I ENJOYED MY STAY AT AYRES. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, AND I FELT COMFORTABLE THERE. GREAT KITCHENETTE AND LOTS OF SPACE AND WORK FEEL. I WASN'T A FAN OF EXTRA PARKING COSTS NOR THE LONG HALLWAYS, WHICH EVENTUALLY I LEARNED THAT IT WAS QUICKER TO GO IN AND OUT THROUGH THE STAIRS OF ONE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
Breakfast buffet was very beneficial for my family. With four young children it's one of the reasons my wife and I prefer your hotel over others. I wasn't aware that if I used handicapped parking during my entire stay, that I would still get charged a $10 daily fee. That seems very odd considering that any vehicle with a valid handicap placard, can't be towed anyway. You may also want to reconsider the setup of rooms for those who are staying with small children. The Portofinos selling point for me was the bunk beds for the kids and the sliding doors that separate the kids room from the parents room. Please consider adding at least three 2.1 amp USB ports to your rooms. A digitally connected family like mine would greatly benefit if there are various charging points for our phones and tablets.
Drove up from San Diego for a hockey game at Honda Center and stayed here for the night. Couldn't ask for better location. On top of that staff is friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable! Oh and happy hour 5:30-6:30 includes free drinks and appetizers! Awesome!

The hotel is centrally located and six minutes from the airport, making it a great choice if you've an early morning departure or late night arrival. Our room was very quiet. The Marketplace was great for snacks and provided a good selection of tasty foods. The staff was friendly and the bed comfortable. The parking fee of $22-24 per night seems excessive for a suburb like Irvine which is pretty much made of concrete, shopping malls and parking lots. The sink drain didn't work properly, one of my pet peeves in a hotel in any price category and unexpected in this type of hotel.
I liked the pool, room size, little market downstairs with reasonable prices, location to where I was going and the feel of the hotel. There is a mini refrigerator that you can fill up. I like the concept, instead of an overpriced minibar. The front desk was confused as to when breakfast ended. (We were told 8am which is ridiculous, but it was actually 9:30.) we missed a few days due to thinking we missed it. The carpet and little features could be updated, but for the most part it was clean. We would stay again.
I stayed a long weekend here with my friend and the lovely people at hotel Irvine really made us feel like welcome guests! From the complimentary bikes, to the Friday night movie on the lawn, to the friendly and delightful staff, every minute here was relaxing and stress-free. My friend has severe food allergies which the staff graciously and professionally worked arround for her. It really meant a lot to be able to enjoy my mini-vacation knowing that everything we needed was being taken care of. Thank you so much!
We loved our room with a view. Even though the hotel was busy with dance competition and softball teams, our room was quiet and service was great. We will definitely be back soon!
I had a problem with another room being extremely loud and disruptive,, the front desk and security took care of the situation, quickly. Also, the GM comped my valet charges...still not what I expected from a hotel like this.
Impressive, grand entry, airily quick check-in, comfortable beds, clean shower Music at the bar was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation. In addition the check-in attendant never told me details, such check-out time or that a continental breakfast was included ( I had to ask the next morning). They seemed rushed and ready for the next customer. Another issue was non-smoking on a designated non-smoking floor. I smelled smoke as I slept and saw butts on the carpet in the hallway. Lastly, breakfast was limited to toast, cold cereal, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs.

We arrived EARLY and they accommodated our early check in thanks to an empty room. The room itself was clean me organized. The sheets were fresh, the mattresses soft and supportive, but the bathroom was tiny and the rugs a little worn. We enjoyed the free breakfast, though the selection is rather limited. The staff was friendly and attentive, had answers for all my questions. Even the people staying alongside us were pleasant and non-disruptive. Having stayed in the other best western's around, this by far was the best experience. I honestly have no negative reviews.

The location was fantastic as it's across the street to Disneyland California Adventure. The rooms have been maintained well or have been remodeled recently and include a decent sized mini-fridge. Free continental breakfast was nice to have. Parking was easy. Hot tea b and pool were nice and had a great view of nightly Disney fireworks. Overall it was a good value. The beds were substandard. They were like sleeping on a trampoline. The pillows were so thick and dense they were uncomfortable. But the comforters were thin, not much thicker than sheets. The hotel was very busy, and so the breakfast was a disaster to access and they were out of half of the items early. The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my heavy bags to the third floor. You can hear people walk past your room or talking outside the room.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Stuff was super friendly. Love the free breakfast, it really helps you save money if you have a full breakfast you can last until a early dinner. Only a few min walk to park... Carpet was a little outdated.

We stayed at this hotel while in town for Disneyland's Half Marathon Weekend. Overall, great value for the money, clean, and proximity to Disney Parks was especially convenient. The A/C unit is a bit loud, which makes it hard to sleep or hear your tv.
Walking distance to enter the park via the Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney. Good, basic hotel room to stay in close to the parks. Checked in at 11pm, walked all the way to the room with a tired wife and tired 4 year old. Room key did not work. Walked all the way back and the staff did not apologize at all. Just made a new key and said "you should be good." Small but infuriating detail. Breakfast time is a zoo.

Our stay was for our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, & special. Although the prices seem a little high for most people, our stay was very enjoyable. We will be returning in the future. The only negatives to our trip were the Disneyland Railroad, Haunted Mansion, and River Boats were closed. Also, I was looking for a Disneyland Railroad Engineer hat, but was only able to find a Conductor's hat.. Lastly, there were no hats for the Disneyland Monorail.
Our room was great, and so was every cast member. I couldnt buy the throw pillow which was on each bed.
Love the themes and decor, and the perks that come with staying at a Disneyland resort hotel. The headboard that lights up and plays music (and serves as a great nightlight) is lovely. We had a room in the Adventure Tower facing Downtown Disney this time, and while we didn't care about the view (in this case, plants from the Adventure garden blocked pretty much anything we could see from the 2nd floor), what we didn't like was how loud the music was from Downtown Disney. We also learned that although we could only see a tiny amount of fireworks from Disneyland, we could hear all of them and they were pretty much as loud as they are when you're in the park. I'm still shocked that my kids slept through the music and fireworks that first night. On our third night, the older one was still awake when they started and used earplugs to get to sleep. The live music didn't stop until 10 pm even on weeknights, which meant we didn't get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the room (after being in the parks all day) until then. If you're not bothered by noise, it won't be a problem, but if you are, consider requesting a pool-view room.

Traveled as a multi-generational family group. We greatly appreciated how soundproof this hotel is. Plenty of water pressure at the right temperature too. And enough elevators for minimal wait time. We could have used electrical outlets for cell phones at the bedside but this is a minor improvement suggestion.

Beautiful resort! Loved our room. Food was amazing! Love the boutique on site. Front desk was great. Had an early check in. Staff overall was very slow and not to experienced when it came to bellman and room service. Every time we called for something we sat on hold for a period of time. Then when we left the resort i couldn't see out of my car windows. I had hard water spots all over my beautiful clean mercedes. The sprinklers covered my car and when i asked the valet to help with windex they looked at me like I was crazy.
the views and the bungalow room was great food service (both in room and at the pool lunch) was slow, inaccurate and not as expected. although the food quality was very good.

I stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel several times. I love how roomy it is and very relaxing! I like the view from the rooms...one side you can watch World of Color with the television playing the sounds for the show! We stay with a family of four, there is a sofa that turns into a bed. The toiletries are very nice!!! If you stay at a Disney property, you can use the special entrance from the Grand Californian. The Surfside Lounge is a bar/ snack shop you can warm up food (there is a microwave!) and pick up utensils (fork, knife, spoon or condiments). I personally like the vending machines on the ground floor..it is in a room by itself! PCH Grill is great during breakfast and looks fun at dinner time too! I whole hearted recommend staying here with everybody!! Upper level soda machines take only credit cards. Wish there was more food eateries.
The room was very nice and the view was amazing. No complaints, we got a great deal and would stay here again.

The location was great for getting to the Disney parks. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from my hotel room door to the park gates. There are many restaurants within walking distance.
Ideal for a small family to enjoy Disney without paying the cost of being on site. Sleeping in is hard with everyone leaving to make park open all at the same time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Easy walking distance to Disneyland. There was a hotel being built right next door, which meant waking up to construction early every morning. It sounded like there was hammering right outside our window. However, this wasn't the hotel's fault, just an annoying coincidence. Overall it was a great place to stay.

The lobby was beautiful, the service was excellent, the location was perfect for visiting the parks and downtown Disney, and the room was big. While the room was large, it wasn't anything amazing for the price.
We loved our stay here. Our family can't wait to return! We loved the pools, the closeness to the park (our room over looked it!) and the on site character breakfast. Also loved the bunk beds for kids There is a Loud speaker in the park that they do announcements on. You could here that muffled early in AM or late at night from our room. Needs a new shower head.
Great location close to Disneyland - easy walk to the park. Had a room that looked across Harbor Blvd toward Disneyland. Had an AWESOME view of the fireworks. Staff was friendly, pool was clean, just wished there was a hot tub in the Garden pool, not just Castaway Cove, too many kids in it to be relaxing for an adult, pool hours just right. AC in the room. Wished frig was larger, really only had room for a meal/day in it for 3 people, couldn't imagine if we had more people - a bigger frig would really have been nice. Despite the things I'd change, it was still the BEST VACATION EVER! Our bathroom sink was quite sloped, things would roll off it. Wish the frig was larger and that there was a hot tub in the Garden Pool.
Outstanding personable staff, very well kept, a true classic like the park across the street. It is designed for family's with small children, and sometimes they get loose! Fortunately all were exhausted and and quiet by a reasonable time. Didn't really notice many, if any, teenagers.
Our stay at Howard Johnson Anaheim was excellent! Check in was super fast. We arrived early and they allowed us to pre-check-in, hold baggage, and hang out at poolside. Water features were excellent for the kids. While at Disneyland (which is only a short walk away) kids kept asking when we were going back to the hotel to the kid water playground. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not so much a didn't like, but more so a would've liked- it would be awesome if food and drinks were available at poolside and water playground.

This hotel was 10 minute walk to the gate. It was nice and easy even at night. The staff was nice and very efficient. The Castaway Lagoon was a fun was to spend the morning or afternoon. My 5 yr old twins had a blast. WiFi was horrible. Walls were thin. The people above us were so loud my kids had a hard time sleeping the last night. Cleaning crew left cart in hall starting at 8 in the morning was still there 1 pm and did not seem to have been moved nor was there anyone in any of the rooms cleaning
Close to Disneyland, has a little shop for miscellaneous things you may have forgot to pack and souvenirs, spray park keeps kids entertained for hours, loved to kids suite! No breakfast provided. A Continental breakfast would be great. No complimentary shuttle service either. Small refrigerators.

We like how close to the Disneyland resort you are, and the pool and water park that are available if you are not at the parks We did not like that on the second night of our stay how the bath tub started to back up when we returned from the park. The smell was atrocious. When we called the front desk, they informed us that nothing could be done until 7:30 the next morning. No shower after a full day at Disney. When we woke up the next morning, the bath tub was still backing up. Again no shower. When I told the front desk the next morning at check out, they asked if I had been offered to be moved, we were never offered. Are parking which expired at 3 the day of checkout was comped after that but not much more. We have stayed her 2 other times in the past year and half but never experienced anything like this. Just upset that more wasn't done to fix a stinky backed up bath tub when it was reported.
The only thing i liked was the tv Almost everything was outdated. Didnt like much. The bedding felt so gross; as if had been sitting there for weeks acumulating dust. Then the room felt really moist, almost humid when we walked in. The bathroom looked like it was for an old person. It said I got a deal after paying $200, but it seemed like it was a $100 room. In the pictures it looked like a $300-$400 room.... Super disappointed.

Nice area to behind the hotel to walk. Larger room size Service was somewhat lacking. I stayed 3 nights. My room was never serviced by the cleaning crew after I checked in. Mattress was very firm and not very comfortable. Hotel nickel and dimes for everything. Self parking was $22 a night. Hotel Concierge wanted to charge me an additional $20 a night when I (a solo traveller) requested a king bed upon arrival instead of two queens, even though the hotel was half empty and the published rates of the king rooms were $35 less a night than the nightly rate I had paid for my stay.
Location and cleanless and overall design has an iverall good feeling Just better the complimentary breakfeast its really not that good just donuts and cofee or orange juice. And the hidden fees once you get there you would have thought hotel included free parking but charged 9 plus tax and checking in early additional days parking

Incredibly clean room on the first floor (of 2). We were there for 5 days, and originally we thought we'd only be there at night after full days at Disney. We ended up coming back each day for about an hour or two during the hottest part of the day (and to avoid some crowds!). A small fridge to keep things cool, the bed was very comphy, a lot of pillows to choose from. Some other guests would slam the doors occasionally, but nothing the hotel can really do about that. We didn't have a car so didn't have to worry about parking. Looked like there was plenty of room, slots were probably a little closer together than my car would've like but that's just me being a little picky. It is litterally 100 yards from the Disney tickets stands, or you can buy in the lobby. Service was pretty quick checking in and out. The little shop has a bunch of travel items and small snacky items and plenty to drink. Pretty much anything a traveler would need. Only problem, and this is really minor, is that the toilet would slip occasionally and not fill the tank in order to flush again. Simple fix, just take off the top and push down on the pump thing, works good. No other problems with our stay!
We stayed here since we couldn't get into (what used to be) our favorite place a few doors down. From the second we got there everything was pleasent and clean. The front desk got us sorted out quick, which was much appreciated as we had just spent 10 hours on a small motorcycle, and our room was nice and quiet. I had read some other reviews about the "outrageous" parking fee which turned out to be $9 a night which didn't bother me. They have valet, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to. They sell 2-5 day park hopper tickets right there for the same price as the gate so I didn't have to wait at the line for tickets which was great!!! There is a small attached cafe which sells the typical Starbucks-ish fare and has some grocery items and souvineers as well. The walk to the park is almost the closest walk you could have, only one hotel closer. If you are still awake after your day at Disneyland there are plenty of channels on the TV, and they are clear. Overall we had a great expirience and this will be our first choice on future visits. I really don't have any complaints. Some will complain about the parking rate, but as far as I can tell everyone is charging about the same so to me it was a non-issue.

I liked that it was very close to downtown disney and the convention center. We didn't even need a car. We put our please service sign out at about 7:00am and came back at 2:00pm and the room still wasn't ready. They didn't stop by until about 3:30 which I think is a little too long. I wish you also had a vending machine for when the grocery store is closed. Coming from a different time zone it was hard to get a quick snack.
