Cons: Be very careful if you book this hotel through a third party booking service. They did not honor my booking and the entire check in was long and delayed. The Hotel Boscolo charged my credit card that I gave them for incidentals even after I showed and emailed them the copy of the booking. Very frustrating and I am still dealing with it weeks later.

The location is perfect for walkers, right in the middle of attractions with shops and restaurants nearby. 20 minutes walking distance from Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Coliseum. The staff were very helpful and polite at reception and especially the restaurant staff are more than excellent services. One of the best things about this restaurant is the staff. We asked for a room at an upper level which we got. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and toiletries. The lobby, restaurant and roof top were also very clean and tidy. We only had breakfast once at the hotel the rest of the time we ate out. The buffet breakfast was good, not the best but there was variety of cold and hot foods, croissants, eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausages and much more. I Would recommend to have breakfast at the hotel at least once but do make sure you get out and about there’s some great Italian restaurants nearby for breakfast.

We were stayed for one night while transiting from the south of Italy to Australia, so we didn't use any of the facilities or have breakfast at the hotel, so we cannot comment on these. The location to Termini was the reason for choosing the hotel and we were very pleased with the location. The hotel room we stayed in was very quiet, which is great for a good sleep. Highly recommend the hotel if you want to be near Termini. Value for money the hotel was excellent for our stay of one night.

Had to take allergy meds to be able to breath.

The room and bathroom were spacious and we had a tiny balcony on the 2nd floor. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle and a free bottle of water. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Roma Termini train station which makes excellent for those who travel by train. Cons: Paid extra to upgrade but the room was sparse. Poor storage and really uncomfortable, unless you wanted to sit on the bed when you were in the room. There was poor storage in the bathroom, meaning our toiletries had to be kept on the floor. The air con/heating sounded like a tractor all night. The wardrobe was falling apart, the curtains didn’t close properly and being close to the main Termini this meant light in the room all night. The ceiling in the bathroom was damp and the wallpaper peeling in the bedroom.

The hotel is walkable to alot of the things that you want to see in Rome. Cynthia helped us a lot and she was lovely and very helpful. Cons: When we checked out we were met with a receptionist that was very rude to us and did not even look us in the eyes. As a Front Desk manager myself i got very frustraded with the rudeness and then she also told me i did not pay for my stay even thoe they made a reservation on my card when i checked in but according to her she could not see that, she wanted me to pay for the room again. I got so frustraded with her rudeness so i switched receptionist and the other receptionist could see the reservation on my card and she was very nice and helpful, if i remember correct i think her name was Beatriz(??), thank you! Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful and modern. It was very convenient to have a hotel so close to the train and metro station. Probably the best part for me was seeing the ancient Roman walls and tower that they have in the garden of the hotel.
Cons: We had high expectations because this was the third hotel we were staying at on our trip and it was significantly more expensive than the others (which we loved). Yet this was the smallest room out of all of them. The trash can and tea kettle were broken in the room. This was also the only hotel that didn’t provide a complimentary breakfast, they wanted an additional $150+ to include breakfast.

Pros: Breakfast was great, many choices as well as local products. You can also order an omelette but it would take a long time to deliver so we opted not to. The room and bathroom were spacious and we had a tiny balcony on the 2nd floor. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle and a free bottle of water. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Roma Termini train station which makes excellent for those who travel by train. Cons: We asked for extra Breakfast tea as we only had 1 bag between 2 of us but only received 1 extra Breakfast tea but 4/5 fruit teas which we didn’t want. Only 1 bathrobe on arrival so had to ask for another. Cleaner knocked on the door about 2000 hrs on the 3rd night to give me 2 packets of jelly sweets (2 in a packet). They had left some on the bed on day 2 of our stay but there weren’t any on arrival (they need to decide whether they are giving them or not!). On our first morning at breakfast there wasn’t anyone to check us in (in fact not on any morning) but we were challenged quite aggressively as to what our room number was & made us feel we shouldn’t have been there even though we were paying for it. Having said that there was a massive amount to choose from, however cooked food was lukewarm at best. When we arrived back on our 2 day there were bath mats next to the bed on the floor but the next day they were gone! No idea what that was all about. Small little niggles but not enough to spoil our stay.

Pros: We arrived in Rome to travel on a cruise and when we got off at Roma Termini, we walked by the hotel by chance and wanted to see how the rooms were, the staff was super helpful and friendly and showed us every type of room they offered without hesistation. We ultimately selected the suites because we were going to stay here after our cruise and wanted to have a big space. The rooms were perfect and modern and very clean. Bathroom is clean with great showers and amentitites! Even without booking the staff offered their help. When we arrived, they let us check in by 11AM and helped us with all our questions and helped us book escortion tours which were all wonderful. They also helped to book a taxi to the airport. The breakfast is very traditional European breakfast and it was great. This is def a place I would recommend everyone if you want to stay near Roma Termini. It is literally across the street from it and offers MRT, taxi, trains and you can walk 15-20mins to see the Colosseum and shopping near termini is also great. This hotel deserves a HIGH rating!!!

The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.

Cons: The hotel is in bad shape. Carpet is shabby, paint chipping off walls, etc. I'd stayed at a Eurostar hotel in Munich that was modern, clean and very comfortable and thought the Rome location would be similar since it's a chain...but they seemed like two different companies.
That said, it's fine for the budget traveler. Clean room and decent shower, but the whole place from the lobby to the rooms are just much shabbier than they appear online.

Cons: the superior room i booked looked contemporary with nice furnishings, however on arrival we were allocated something completely different, when i complained i was informed there was more than one type of superior room, it was only when i refused to move from reception that the room i thought i had booked was allocated to us so beware you may end up at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy/loud main road. Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable and there was no good blanket to use. The AC temp could not be adjusted despite that the staff telling me that it was. I stayed for 4 nights and the last two nights someone was smoking in the room next to mine and the smell invaded my room and I couldn't sleep well. This was supposed to be a non-smoking property! I mentioned this after the first night and the staff brushed it off as if the smell was coming from the outside. It wasn't, it clearly came from the room next to mine and the entire stairwell reeked of smoke when I came up into my room in the evening.

Cons: I was there for 1 night, after check-in I had to call reception 4 times in only one hour as once for water problem and 3 times problems with electricity (even my light went completely off and it took them 21 minutes until they send someone up to fix it while without any sense of being sorry or excusing me) impossible for me to go back there! Very old inside as old not ancient and nice, four stars when you look the lobby and 2 stars when you inside, I am very sorry that I chose here as I have been in different hotels always for business trip and I say you can find very good other choices in Rome.

We were given a room combined with kitchen and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a fridge. The bed was comfortable. The region is pretty quite even in evenings. The garbage was cleaned from the room every day. And while we stayed there 9 nights we had our bed sheets and towels changed once which is pretty acceptable. We will definitely recommend it for a budget stay in Rome.

Cons: The room was quite dirty and dusty, with spots that seemed not to be cleaned for a long long time. My window overlooked an inner courtyard which was very smelly so it made it quite uncomfortable to open the window. Cleanliness should definitely be improved. Plus, I know there are fixed fares in Rome but i think the price is quite too high for what it is offered.
