Prompt service, starting with a phone call right after I booked the car, to let me know when the vehicle would be ready for me. Fun to drive the Dodge Charger R/T! Many thanks to Susan for the courtesy ride and for making it to my work shuttle on time. You're a great driver :).

Pros:

Car was a great car for driving around california. Quite zippy and very easy to parallel park. When picking up car, I felt it was a bit dirty outside and inside. Looked like Car had been vacuumed but windows, dashboard and and steering wheel were dirty. A simple detail would solve the problem so the next client can be assured a clean driving rental vehicle. I would rent again from both Enterprise and Kayak website.

The car had visibly been in an accident with the front bumper loose/falling off. I was charged an additional $27 beyond my original amount with no explanation.

The rental car operation at CHS was overwhelmed - I waited an over an hour waiting in lines. They had to pull my vehicle from a remote lot - it wasn’t in the garage. The car was clean on the outside but the interior was not - my wife spent time wiping everything down. The tires were really worn - I wish that I had more time to reject the vehicle - bald spots on all four tires. Returning to Budget at OKC was fast and friendly - that part of the rental was terrific!

We wait for 30" & take the shuttle to the car rental location / we wait in line for 45" for them to tell us we booked at a different location - I look at my email confirmation @ pay $39 to Uber to the location listed on my co formation email - it's a Hilton hotel & they said Hertz closed that location after the pandemic. I then try to call 9 get an actual person to try to find where our car is & after calling 4 locations & ask to speak to the local agency & no one answers any phones. I also tried to get someone at Kayak & no online chat available & God forbid anyone has a customer service phone number listed anywhere on their app. This was a pre-paid non-refundable rental. I gave up & got an Uber to our friends house which again cost $85 & we have now wasted 3hours & our friends made lunch for us & it takes another hour & 1/2 to get to their house because of traffic!! I waited on the phone over 30" to talk to someone to get credit for this debacle & received - but $3 credit - but no Uber reimbursement. I will never rent via kayak again

Went to website to add another day to rental, accidently canceled. Called the phone number and explained that I fat-fingered the buttons, I did not want to cancel but add another day. The associate was very unhelpful and still penalized us with a cancellation fee that was a few dollars less than the rental was. I will never use Hertz again and will tell everyone to go to Enterprise instead.

I misordered for the wrong weekend. They fixed the order and had a vehicle available. Great car only 2k miles clean fresh and very comfy for the 6 hrs each way trip. Definitely a 5 star deal. The folks in the office were polite and super helpful. Thanks guys.
