it is very conveninly located and and all your hotel staff have been very kindly to the guest. nothing
Attentive and helpful staff, central location and comfortable room. No issues
Bright room lighting no
We were very comfortable and able to get a really good nights sleep as the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very attentive and efficient. Not a complaint but would like to have been issued extra tea and coffee supplies.
Very good value for money. Staff were friendly. Location is convenient only if you don't mind walking everywhere.
This is a very nice hotel to stay at, great location and great staff. I can recommend this hotel
The location of the Hotel is very convenient , not too far from the central business district still very quiet The air conditioner had aan erratic temperature control.
location is good, easy access to the subway, many shopping mall in a walking distance the hotel is under renovation and has a lot of noise, they are breaking one side of the hotel, so impossible to sleep during the day.
The cleanliness. TV channels were not clear.
Location was very good.
The hotel room I stayed in was good. The staff were helpful. But see my comments below. When I arrived I was given a room which was occupied by another guest who I found out had the same name as me. There needs to be a more rigorous checking of guests details - I supplied home address when I checked in but this wasn't use as a check. On Saturday morning I received a phone call re the return flight which was obviously for the other person. I don't expect these slips in a high quality hotel.
The gym was decent considering how old the hotel was. I was able to find most things in the gym. I did a late check out no problem (2pm) Water pressure in the shower was good. Bed Bugs. Felt itchyness on my legs and head. Bed was flat and rock hard Cable was weak. Needed one good nights rest and I couldn't even get that.
We found the Park hotel to be very well located. The pool area was fabulous for a city hotel and the club floor was great. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely reccommend this hotel.
nearness to bars and restaurants Hotel dining room too small
New clean hotel Took a day to find out there was internet service in the room, didn't find it in the room documentation
hotel staff were courteous and friendly (reception, housekeeping, etc.) rooms were clean and modern too. The rooms are seriously very small and cramp...
Very friendly and professional staff, clean and up to date facilities, great location. Nothing to say
Excellent pool/jacuzzi area! (Jacuzzi is at the end of the pool - switch is on left side of pool). Great location minutes from Clarke Quay. Very safe area, in fact the whole city was! Helpful staff and we even got checked in at 9:30am after a long flight. Our bags were taken up to our room for us. Our room was cleaned daily and the showers were lovely! The hotel staff hailed down a taxi for us on our departure and they lifted our cases into the taxi for us. Very relaxing stay! We would love to stay here again! Occasional noise can be heard from the flushing of next rooms toilet. Water pipes/system can also occasionally be heard although this didn't wake us up. Personally I would have preferred softer pillows but I wouldn't let this put me off staying here again.
We had been up since midnight on our flight when we got there was told our room wasnt ready, and made to sleep in lobby, even tho we had booked club floor. Was not offered a drink and left ehere for 2hours.
Location-service-cleanliness Really not enough storage units
We had a club room which allowed us to use their Crystal Lounge where we had breakfast and afternoon tea + cocktails. Internet use was also free. Great ameiies. It was not so close to the Old Singaopre but taxi were cheap so it wasn't an issue.
Excellent service and courtesy and helpfulness of staff, n/A
The location was ok Rooms were awfully small, the amenities were very limited, service was fine. Very surprised the ratings for this hotel are as high as they are. You can do much better in Singapore.
Impressed with staff, room and location. Especially liked the upgrade offer which included breakfast which we would otherwise have found too expensive. The use of the Premier Lounge was included in the upgrade and we found this very useful as we had a late flight out. The access to computers at reception and the ease with which we could check-in on-line and print boarding passes were plusses.
Enjoyed the swimming pool. Most of the staff were friendly. it was expensive.
Located in nice area for night life pedestrian street bars and life band pubs
The location was excellent. Near china town and right on Clarke Quay and about 400 meters from the MRT so easy to get around. Room was good but just looks a outdated compared to hotels recently i stayed in of a similar calibar.
The location was great, the interior was very stylish, the room was spacious the bath was grey and dirty looking. very disappointed wifi isnt free and the 5 avaliable computers always crashed and its uncomfortable to use without a chair and viewing personal documents is not possible as people walk past all the time, i was only given one room key so if my partner wanted to use the computers i had to go with him, would of prefered nicer free toiletries from a 4 star hotel as others in the past have used molton brown etc and it took one hour to get my luggage delivered to my room
Early check in was wonderful. Excellent staff and quiet room inspite of the construction next door.
Friendly and professional staff. I had the executive lounge which has great city views. Was nice, simple choice breakfast there too, away from the main restaurant on 7th floor. Everything you want,,, bars, restaurants, shopping, walking, is right outside the door. A lot of construction in the neighborhood, and the down side of being in the 'hub' of the bars, clubs and restaurant scene is the traffic, but, I guess that goes for any major city. Room was nice, modern and clean with good internet speed, nothing exceptional, but suited me perfectly.
I booked a non-smoking room, but when checking in they had only smoking rooms available. Very smelly, and the window could not be opened either. Also the bathroom in the room needs to be fixed (shower head not working well, sink not draining water). In general, not good value for money (273S$ all included), not even close to the hotel where I stay usually (Regent).
The hotel has everything that you would need around you when going abroad. It has mcdonalds, starbucks, money changer, food court (with a variety of delicious and newly cooked food) and shopping mall at the back, plus the rivercruise at the back and the surrounding night area close by the hotel. it was kinda a long walk done everyday from mrt station of quay to the hotel esp when your feet are aching from a full day's tour already.
It is a good and affordable hotel. Near to the MRT (Clarke Quay) and shopping complex (Central).
Very helpful staff as my husband was using a wheelchair
just ok. nothing special
Neat, clean, great location with lots of restaurants and food places and just across the MRT. I thought the bedroom was a little small in comparison to what I would expect in this part of the world for this class of hotel.
Location The hotel was more of a 3 stars or less. It need a lot of updating. Everything from the bed to bathroom was old and worn out.
This is my second stay at the hotel and I would have no hesitation to return again. Staff are friendly and willing to help. It has easy access to all part of the city due to the MRT being closeby.
The location was really good. Next to the river and heaps of restaurants, bars etc. Easy to get a taxi from the hotel & the concierge were full of helpful information about anything we needed to know about Singapore. The spa should have been warmer than the pool.
Proximity to Clark Quay attractions. Floor layout was like a maze otherwise very nice place.
Staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is very well situated for walking to Chinatown and the MRT is virtually next door so it makes travelling around the city less of a hassle. We have stayed here many times and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Friendliness and courtiousness of staff. Very clean rooms and well furnished. Hotel is in a brilliant location, provides good chinese food, has a superb swimming pool, and is within easy walking distance of Chinatown, all the main attractions, shops and excellent restaurants. We could not fault the hotel during our stay.
The convenience of its location and ready access to the adjacent MRT station, although the construction of the Central Shopping Mall has robbed the hotel of its former main appeal, the view of the River Although I requested a non smoking room but was allocated a smoking room and was unable to be reallocated.
It was steep in price for what you get. Having said that there was nothing amiss one you are in. The staff go out of the way to help. The west need to learn this from the East.Facilities were good. Breakfast was too damn expensive.
Close proximity to Clarke quay Hotel staff were poorly trained and lacked management
Location is great... lots of shops & great nightlight... MRT very close to the Hotel... Breakfast was good + executive club on the 11th floor for happy hour was a bonus... Never had to wait for a cab... 2nd floor under construction... lots of noise during the week... pool area looked a little dated....
Extremely kind and helpful staff. The front desk guy escorted me all the way to my room: I felt a little self cautious as I would have much preferred a lady. I loved the room: very spacious, comfortable and luminous. The swimming pool is decent, although the water was cold. I love the location, close to the Singapore River, dotted with stylish Japanese and Italian restaurants. The clubbing area of Clarke Quay is only one kilometre away.
All great except no "do not disturb" sign at the door, so they called and ringed and woke me up numerous times. I know they were just trying to do their job, but we also need to rest...;-)
The fact that the TV screen was big and clear. TV channel options were lousy, no free movies on HBO. I was also promised a complimentary late check-out at 3pm but at 1pm, hotel reception already started calling me to ask me to check-out.
Excellent location, easy check-in/out Room was too small for my liking. Bathroom is connected to the room and there is no sofa or buffer area between bedroom and bathroom.
Staff was outstanding and hotel accommodated early check in w no issue. Walking to Raffels or Clarke Quay MTR is less than a block away.
Internet speeds were excellent, pool/work out room was nice. Lobby was spacious and open. Restaurant was nice (but expensive). Bathroom is literally part of the room and only a curtain separates you from the room. The room size was SMALL (especially for a family). No fan in bathroom/shower makes smell and humidity uncomfortable.
Experiance was not good. We were provided with 2 single beds instead of King. Same as above.
Not so many things, it is so average hotel the quality and service are quite poor, except breakfast and luch there is no open buffet restaurant. For breakfast and lunch, open buffet is very very poor. As I stayed at similar hotels, I cannot even compare.
Good sized rooms, comfortable bed and a full size proper bath.
The carpet was stained and dirty. Upholstery on chairs were dirty and had holes in them.
The staff were extremely accomdating and polite.
Convenient to walk to MRT or many tourist sites, really comfortable beds and extremely quiet, relaxing rooms. Despite the somewhat disappointing breakfast, we would recommend this hotel for cleanliness, quietness and pleasant staff. Could have used a convenient get-it-yourself ice machine. Breakfast was included, buffet style, and was only mediocre, but probably hard to manage with the number of people using it.
near our business partner company
The best was the location to the MRT and good eating facilities. The service was a little slow sometimes.
the location was very good, rooms and breakfast also excellent
Everything was perfect. The room was set up with the extra bed and ready for us when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning. The view from the window was spectacular: the Singapore Flyer and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with the boat on top. Breakfast included a buffet of Singaporean and international foods, which got our day of touring off to a great start. I was eager to show off the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel to our family we were visiting. The location was excellent and only a 5-minute walk to the MRT station, which took us all over Singapore. I would definitely stay in the hotel again and ask for Room 1113! In the display of brochures offered to tourists, I wish the brochure on the Marina Bay Gardens was in English. I checked with the front desk and concierge of both the Peninsula and the Excelsior towers.
The room given had been renovated very recently. Very close to City Hall MRT/ 300 meters from Boat quay and the Esplanade area. The breakfast buffet is not tasty, better go to a maket and eat fresh local food.
The service of Room Service staffs and Counter Staff is excellent. They are all smiling and kind to answer all your enquiries. Nothing.
Fantastic place to stay with the most amazingly friendly staff. When we asked for soap and tea it was provided very quickly. The 2 bedroom apartment is cosy, not quite as big as it looks on the website but it's very clean and the amenities are good. The breakfast was extremely basic but there was plenty of it and well topped up. Don't stay here if you like a buffet breakfast with plenty of choice.
The room we booked was well equipped for an extended stay but most probably not for two or three nights as we did. It is annoying arriving at a hotel at 23h30 in the evening and not finding a minibar. I found the staff at the hotel totally useless. Most of them were unable to conduct even the most basic conversation in English, and issues such as booking a taxi and getting the internet to work was cumbersome. They porter dropped one of our bags from the baggage cart, causing items inside to break (Normally you wold rely on the airline to do that). The ladies in our party were not very happy with the fact that the room lacked a hair dryer. Though the rooms were in very good knick, I found the passages, elevators and walkways extremely dated (looks like it was last tiled in 1980).
Great location near singapore river ; kitchen and washing machine in room No
Hotel was in a great location for restaurants and shopping, excellent space in two bedroom two bathroom apartment. Breakfast was good. Rooms were a little dated but clean. Also renovation is underway which will see rooms be refurbished.
The pool is not friendly to young children. There is only a very small area of shallow steps. I suggest installing a small, shallow "baby pool." Also, there was no proper outlet in the bathroom for the hair dryer.
Big, spacious, comfortable apartment.
Great location, good room size and friendly staff Street noise.
The view & location were fantastic. The hard bed & breakfast needs some work, more variety each morning would help.
the reception staff were wonderful. every time we entered the building we were greeted with a smile and a hello. when we lost a mobile phone in a taxi they bent over backwards to help find it and find it they did. your maintenance man was very patient with me when trying to explain how to use the washing machine/dryer. i had searched the internet for 2 months to find suitable accommodation for my 2 children and myself and was more than thrilled when we arrived to see our room. thank you so very much for being part of our wonderful holiday. perhaps an instruction manual in the room to show you how to use the washing machine/ dryer so we don't have to bother the maintenance man.
Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Spacious, comfortable and clean apartment. Great location close to river, shops and restaurants. Easy, free access to internet handy to have.
The location. Lots of eateries and drinking place. Bathroom a little to small
Rooms with the bed on the upper floor gives you more room in the working area. Great pool, good breakfast Exercise bike was broken the 6 days that i was there. Linen was not clean when I checked in at 2 am.
Very stylish design Very near to Roberson Quay Easy to get taxi Friendly Staff Quiet Not close to MRT station Room is very small Breakfast is average
Value for money. Convenient location. Excellent Front Desk staff - Joey. Upon check-in, my booking could not be located until I presented my confirmation e-mail.
Cosy bed! Loud thuds can be heard when other occupants slammed the cupboard/cabinets' doors. Very irritating and heart pumping effect.
Location was excellent, very close to Clarke Quay. Very close to the riverfront with plenty of restaurants. Really cramped room size; room advertised for three was barely big enough. Door to bathroom was difficult to open.
The best part was how really comfortable the bed was. I wasn't anticipating to get out of bed, at all. You can imagine. The cleanliness was on a tip-top condition. Furthermore, after a nights' stay, I was out the whole day and came back to see that my bed's been made, my towels have been replaced, including all my toiletries too! It was amazing. The staffs were wonderful too. They were very polite and were very prompt to help us whenever assistance was needed. It was all very pleasant. I would come back to stay at Studio M Hotel again, no doubt. I think it is more to where it is located at. It would have been really convenient if it wasn't much of a walking distance to the hotel from the nearest MRT Station. But this wasn't that much of an issue, until it rained and I realised how 3/4 of the time, there were barely any sheltered area from the hotel to the MRT Station vice versa.
Location, a bit far from MRT but free shuttles provided. Hotel service never responded to requests, TV didn't work, shower flooded
The loft design was refreshing and the space was smartly utilised. The room was very comfortable. Other than the toilet being a bit too small, the service leaves nothing to be desired. When I developed some rashes during my stay and approached them after a visit to the hospital, they refused to take responsibility or follow up with the case.
Upgraded to executive. The bed. Possibly one of the best I've slept in. quite "run down" for a new hotel. No bedroom sandals. The service at the cafe is horrible.
The loft rooms are unique to most travellers. There is a sense of homeliness from the design. The high ceiling and wide windows provide an excellent view of Robertson Quay. The toilet/bathroom are rather small, giving a cramped feeling. It would be better if there is a larger space for these room amenities.
