Waiter changed our dinner order after he noticed us appreciating the dessert at a nearby table, Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Pros: It s a business hotel.I stayed one night (Sat/Sun) at a very favorable weekend rate. Superb suite. Pity I couldn't enjoy the luxury longer. Breakfast on Sundays is a disaster. Buffet is very spread out i.e. long ways from one station to another, it is overcrowded (many Singaporeans stay just for this weekend night), long queues everywhere. Singaporeans are very inconsiderate and just elbow you out of the way. 44 S$++ is a bit high for this breakfast which is very average . When I remarked that I do not appreciate breakfast in a 'school canteen' set up, the matter was dealt with without hesitation. It was a very nice gesture.

Pros: Conrad truly lives up to it's name in this location. The hotel is extremely well maintained, the staff is attentive courteous and ready to help, and the amenities more than sufficient for a hotel that caters mostly to business (we were there for leisure). Rooms are spacious (for Asian standards), clean and could find nothing non-functional or a bit off. Hotel provides 2 small bottles of water daily - also available upon request - which is great for taking with you. Towels are plush and the bed linens are veeerrryyy comfortable. There is no external noise in the rooms - not that Singapore is a noisy city like NYC. Even numbered rooms have a slightly better view (of the Sands and Gardens but at an angle) but odd numbered rooms have the fountain view - not bad either.
Cannot go wrong with this hotel choice.

Pros: Hotel attached to both Raffles city mall and City Mall metro station. Unbelievably convenient where transit station is steps away from the hotel and you don’t need to even go outside if its raining (saved my wife from having her hair ruined which in turn is a life save for me!). Mall is also connected to the hotel so you have an abundance of top notch food choices from a high end japanese restaurant to castella cakes, coffee/ramen shops and Din Tai Fung all just below the hotel.
Room was spacious, with a view and central to almost everything there is to see in Singapore. Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown and Orchard Road can all be reached with a quick 10 min train ride or a 20-30 minute stroll.
Service was impeccable starting from the lovely receptionist and front desk staff. Gina helped us and not only gave us an early check in, but also hand drew on the map where we were in the city, top points of interest and also wrote down her favorite places to eat nearby. Thanks for the chicken rice tip Gina!! You made our stay so much more personable and easy! In addition, we had a hard time using the outlets since my wife had a special hair curler needing the standard US 110V but since we didn’t have one, they actually had a converter AND a step down voltage converter to take the Sing 220V to US 110V! Amazing help so the wife could look and feel her best!

Pros: I chose this hotel due to its reputation and location, centrally sited for everything and not too far to walk and as it was extremely humid whilst there. Fairmont hotels epitomise luxury and I doubt you would be disappointed. The hotel can be reached from the aiport by the MRT for $2, shuttle bus for $9 or taxi for $25 . Either choice will be quick and easy. The rooms are spacious and have all you would expect for your comfort and convenience. The hotel stands above a shopping mall, Raffles City, which is thankfully air conditioned and has a vast amount of shops and eating choices. All the staff I met were courteous and helpful. There are 2 outdoor pools and a large sun terrace as well as a fitness centre and spa.

This is the best Intercontinental brand I have stayed at around the world. And I have stayed at some nice ones in other countries. Try the Cub Lounge. It is worth every penny of the extra cost. Pros: Room had great view of city was clean but had to request to move rooms because the first room smelled stale of moldy cigarettes. We were then moved to non smoking and it was worth the inconvenience although the view was less interesting. Staff was aware of stale smell and did help accommodate. Nice bathrooms. Overall architecturally interesting late 80's hotel... Will not return.

every morning our we ate at the breakfast buffet, an array of English, Chinese, Japanese and Singaporean favorites, including a personal chef for eggs, an ice cream machine, and plenty of cappuccino or espresso too.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The room was set up with the extra bed and ready for us when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning. The view from the window was spectacular: the Singapore Flyer and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel with the boat on top. Breakfast included a buffet of Singaporean and international foods, which got our day of touring off to a great start. I was eager to show off the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel to our family we were visiting. The location was excellent and only a 5-minute walk to the MRT station, which took us all over Singapore. I would definitely stay in the hotel again and ask for Room 1113!
