9.2 Excellent
Pros: Strategic location - next to T4 by a covered walkway Very clean, room well equipped, friendly staff and was given a very quiet room as we were flying early next morning Very good hot breakfast spread - did not have enough time to enjoy it as we had a plane to catch
Cons: Not the hotel’s fault but the choice for dinner was limited to the hotel’s bistro , a bistro at T4 or sandwiches from Boots
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Just the staff lie or don’t have the right information
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and the hotel was comfortable and the meal we had in the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: We were told that we had been selected as ‘guest of the day’. This was a near worthless honour and so created disappointment and therefore did not add to our experience. As an example we were told that the mini bar was complimentary but but the contents were laughable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great plenty of choice
Cons: I liked everything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is an unexpected find - a London Heathrow Hotel that is modern, clean extremely comfortable and with well trained personable staff. As a frequent business traveller, such locations are rare and to be appreciated.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place to stay after arriving later in the day from an overseas flight. Modern, clean, helpful and welcoming staff, particularly Sunita on Reception.
7.5 Good
Pros: Food was excellent staff was excellent
Cons: Alarm went off twice and we rushed out which caused me to twist my ankle the emergency door next to 3001 did not open I was in my dressing gown standing on the bridge nobody let us know it was false alarm We had to ask after 15 minutes for our change when we bought a drink We waited 40 minutes for our drink and starter on the evening at the meal we only got it because I went to reception and complained. This evening supposed to be special for my husband and I and it worked out very stressful I wish to book a room and meal again next month to make it special for him as he is having chemo at the moment . We did receive 50% off out meal which I am grateful, but I would much rather it be a special evening for us without complications. The receptionist was lovely but I didn’t want to take it further at reception as my husband was tired and went straight to the car. Please let me know who I contact about my complaint. Regard Sharon Tipp.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent for a stopover before an early flight. The hot breakfast was available from 6am which just worked for us. The room was quite an acceptable size with all that we wanted for a one night stop
Cons: The walk from Terminal 4 seemed very long when we arrived but shorter when we left! The signposting for the turn off the walkway hanging from the ceiling to Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express misled us and so and we waked further than we needed to. We saw the Holiday Inn Express through a window and realised where it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well organized the hotel & the staff are so friendly.
Cons: The prepayment method I thought upon arrival but a day before my check in it was deducted already the deposit .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Efficient, clean just right for a short stay pending onward travel especially if using terminal 4
Cons: A little cavernous. Makes for an impersonal feel in the communal areas
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Getting to and from the airport is really fantastic. Hotel was stunning for the price.
Cons: Lack of near by stores and thus the location was a bit of an issue but not to complain as the price serves for the lackings.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good airport hotel, comfortable bed, quite. Like being connected with T4 by tunnel that makes everything easier
Cons: Restaurant in the evening is very inefficient
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and ideal for terminal 4 which is a short walk away.
Cons: Some lifts were out of order so the others were slow at times.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in this location for 1 night on our way back; we thought being close to the airport would be a good idea so we booked at a location that had direct access via a skybridge to the airport. We weren't disappointed, the skybridge was literally right outside the main door of the property and it was so easy to get to our terminal and gate at Heathrow-an airport that can have it's confusion and complexities. The Holiday Inn is physically connected to the Crowne Plaza and they share some common areas like the elevators. There are restaurants in both and we were starving when we arrived and decided to try the fine dinning restaurant in the Crowne Plaza. It was great, lots of menu choices and the food and service were good.
Cons: There was a bit of jet fuel vapors in our room from time to time throughout the stay. Not a huge deal for us.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with plenty of storage and a chair. Excellent breakfast and service.
Cons: Toilet roll holder located too far from the toilet (Atillia). Height of the bedroom door Yale lock and the key was difficult at times to remove. The poor explanation/justification for the credit card £50 .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great right by the river. The decor inside was lovely and cozy.
Cons: The staff didn’t provide us with info about the hotel on check in and it was only through my own research I knew about it. They seemed not fussed about us being there or not.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely position on the river. Didn't realise we needed to book a parking space We arrived before check in and left our over night bag at reception and was disappointed that it was not taken to our room

8.8 Excellent

7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location - handy for town but suitably quiet Lovely outlook across gardens and river. Attractive décor in room and public areas and very clean.
Cons: Restaurant poor value. Breakfast (continental) was overpriced and not well stocked - even relatively early no croissants available and would have been 15 minute delay to acquire more..!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent quality and choice.
Cons: In room internet and digital radio were not working, and television was only partially working.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Amazing position on river, bedroom nice with lovely view. Friendly bar staff. Lovely view from terrace. When we arrived the bar was closed for filming which appeared to take priority over hotel guests even though hotel had been informed day before it was our wedding day! They did however give us some complimentary sparkling wine!
Cons: Reception staff very bored, unsmiling and underwhelming especially as our wedding day! A vacuum cleaner stored outside bedroom door with other laundry items stacked up!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well decorated, friendly staff and attractive building. Good quality all round.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: hospitality - child friendly - facilities - space
Cons: a smell in the room (old)
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was a buffet, standard fare and fine. The room was small but the bathroom was refurbished and very nice. The location was very convenient as I had a meeting in the conference centre the next morning. The food and service in the bar in the evening was good. The room had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe which was much appreciated and the coffee and tea were good.
Cons: The bed was of a poor standard for the price paid for the room and the mattress needs replacing. Though the bedding was of good quality I had an uncomfortable night on the thin unsupportive mattress and did not sleep well. It was also not possible to open the window so the room was stuffy which did not help. There is air-conditioning but I would not want to sleep with that on all night.

Pros: The hire boats, the welcome at the hotel

Pros: Location, cleanliness
Cons: Price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, and world class spa
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Beautiful location and river view Excellent spa Comfortable bed Nespresso machine Night manager. See below
Cons: Trainee staff was nervous and even the normal reception acted, at best, like a brusque and unfriendly airline check in. I was given a room without river view initially when I had paid for it I booked the Runnymede just, I underscore just? for that peaceful and lovely view which I will post here I was cross examined when I came back down, dead tired and irritable and the first reaction was that it must be the fault of booking .com and they did not offer to fix it. No one was pleasant or smiled. ...it unfortunately caused me to raise my voice for which I apologized This fortunately attracted the attention of the professional and charming night manager who sorted it out and gave me the room I had booked. It did take up 15 minutes of a a 24 hour holiday, but he recognized that. He offered me a nightcap and I asked for a midday check out instead if possible I got that and it’s been delicious Didn’t like the advice that guests were advised, that is asked, to change in the changing rooms and not in their rooms, and drag the bathrobes with them TV Very small and even smaller choice Though it says I Can control room temperature the air conditioning would not stop Towel rail unheated Asked for room to be cleaned (on door) whilst I was in spa So I could have a final nice hour with view. And fresh bath after pool with fresh bath wash Didn’t happen. So I Didn’t tip but that made me feel bad Couldn’t resist the lovely fat biscuits : ) in the room
6.5 Good
Pros: Awesome spa facilities, the whole place was clean.
Cons: The rooms were very hot and no way to control air conditioning. The staff at check in lacked any listening skills or emotional awareness. We requested english breakfast tea bags in the morning as the room had none and the porter delivered earl grey?! In too much of a rush to get to an event to chase. Hotel is right in Heathrow flight path so very noisy for most of the night when the window is open (as room to hot!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very polite and facilitating. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was completing in the Thames Path Ultra 100km challenge and had hiked 31 miles to get to Runnymede. I liked everything about the hotel from the great welcome I received at check in, the comfort and facilities of my room, and the friendliness of the bar and food service staff. I left in the early hours of the next morning completely refreshed. I totally recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing, it was all good !
7.5 Good
Pros: Modern, good spa. Nice seating along the river.
Cons: The Restaurant, The Lock, had average food. Good quality ingredients but didn’t come together well at all. Meal was quite tasteless.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We ate in one of the restaurants. The food was pleasant and good value. The room was nice.
Cons: This is the second time we have stayed and it is a nice hotel. Not a "you must stay there." but a perfectly pleasant hotel with friendly staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming staff
Cons: Choice of firmer pillow

9.6 Excellent
Pros: A perfectly satisfactory place for what we wanted to do in the area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to Kew Gardens for a day trip and the hotel was exceptionally well placed for a visit there. With parking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Attending family wedding the staff were really helpful when our son (who was getting married across the road at Cambridge cottage) had a traumatic 2 hr taxi ride stuck in the climate change demo traffic in 24 degrees. They provided some fresh towels so he could jump in our shower and get redressed and calmed down before we all raced out to witness him marry our new daughter in law!
Cons: There were a few teething issues when we arrived with the room but the management sorted them instantly and also gave us a complementary drink - great service
7.5 Good
Pros: The position of the hotel was perfect, the food excellent and very comfortable and friendly staff.
Cons: A few late night noises which were annoying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and literally across the road from Kew Gardens. Loads of eateries and pubs in the area if you want to get out and about but you have a cracking little pub on site with yummy food :) Breakfast in particular was a delight! Superior room really spacious and beautifully decorated. To top it all off the hotel staff were all so friendly and professional it was a perfect stay! We will definitely be back!
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, the breakfast was lovely, the staff were very friendly & helpful.
Cons: The room was a little noisy, the window didnt seem to close so a lot of road noise kept us awake. Apart from that it was fab and it wouldn't put us off staying there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both exactly right. Food good and we were staying for a wedding at Cambridge Cottage in Kew Gardens just a short walk away. Hotel staff all very pleasant, bed comfortable and room was just as we expected.
Cons: Clear instructions for use of bath/shower would have helped. We struggled for quite a while trying to work out which control out of four did what and got help from family! we had to ask for a bath stopper which didn't stay in place anyway. We are an elderly couple and find these things a challenge - I expect had we not had family help the staff would have explained.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location, tea & coffee making facilities in room and secure underground parking. Pleasant room at a comfortable temperature.
Cons: Tea at breakfast was lukewarm but put right when requested without any problems. Receptionist was unsure about processing credit card payment and the other staff member available was not very helpful to her to resolve so took longer than necessary to check out.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were return guests at this hotel. The room this time was at the rear and much roomier than our previous visit. It was quiet and has good food in the restaurant. A very good place which served our purpose of being relatively close to Heathrow for catching a flight. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: A bit of a walk to a tube station (900m). Taxi is best for airport transfer. Breakfast choices were a bit limiting in sections. Operation of the TV was a bit of a challenge but staff solved it quickly.

Cons: Lovely comfortable bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. Went to order another drink and was told the bar was closed, no last order had been called or advised. Pros: Check In was swift and smooth. Every member of staff I interacted with were polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and was served very quickly.
Cons: If I had known that a private party was being held in the evening I would not have booked a nights stay there. There were children running around the dining hall who were not customers of the dining area and no parents in sight to manage their behaviour. The music was so loud I could not have a conversation with my partner without raising our voices to be heard, even though we were sitting opposite each other. After our meal we could not use the bar/lounge facilities due to the party so we had to retire to our room early. We decided to sit on the balcony of our room for coffee, but unfortunately it overlooked the function room, and many of the patrons of the private party were outside and were using foul language which made us very uncomfortable. Eventually we decided to retire to bed before 9pm and reflect on a ruined, but expensive nights stay.

Pros: The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and in line with what we had specifically requested. It was very good value for money. The staff were attentive and pleasant and dinner was very nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness. It is the most important quality in a hotel for me.
Cons: I was a little sad that only one restaurant was available during my stay. I also was hoping to use the sauna, but found out I was required to pay a fee.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Ease of booking in and out, cleanliness, ambience and it was quiet.
Cons: Non applicable
5.0 Okay
Pros: Convenient for a stayover at Terminal 5. Check in was a breeze and reception staff was delightful. Room was spacious and nicely outfitted. Bathroom was also spacious and comfortable. Good outlet locations for phone charging. Onsite restaurant and bar seemed reasonably priced.
Cons: Bed and pillows were way too soft. Got little sleep, felt every toss and turn of my husband -- which defeated the purpose of a daytime flight to LHR.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The proximity to terminal 5. Felt very safe and a nice hotel. Will stay there again when I m in London.
Cons: Not really

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect hotel for the traveler coming or going from Heathrow to the States - you are right at Terminal 5 so super convenient! The hotel pampers your weary traveler's body - wonderful beds, pillows, bath products etc. The bars are fun and the Vivre restaurant is excellent. Overall, we would always prefer Sofitel for airport stays as they are outstanding!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at the Sofitel on previous occasions and the standard is always high and the location is perfect for T5 and trains. On this occasion Lavinia (Reception) stood out as particularly helpful, kind and professional and I would like to commend her for this. The cafe is very good both in quality of food, coffee, prices and professionalism.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a popular location, so when I got there in the late evening, I had to stay in line for the staff to serve us and check us in. However, the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and spacious, the bed was excellent. It felt as if sleeping on the softest cloud, the pillows were also new, puffy and fantastic overall. It was quiet in the evening and in the morning, a great location for someone to spend the night before an early flight to Heathrow.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and approachable staff.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. Dinner was not so great and too expensive. The staff could not have been more helpful and PLEASANT! Every encounter with the front desk staff and housekeeping was so positive.
Cons: Better menu for dinner.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to Heathrow. Hand a 14 hour overnight stay on way back to Canada from Greece. Very comfortable beds. Rooms looked recently renovated. Usual amenities for mid range hotel
Cons: Breakfast buffet only and fairly expensive for the three optional breakfasts. Elevators very busy at checkout (10:00 am). On first floor and first 3 elevators full. Walked down to lobby twice with bags before my wife found an elevator with room for her to come down with last bag
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. Overall a great place to stay when traveling through a Heathrow.
Cons: The only issue we had was the taxi service they contacted to return us to the airport. The driver charged 17L for a very short drive to Terminal 3. We had been told at reception that the ride would be a contracted 13lL, but the driver required 17.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I was there for my professional meetings inside of the hotel. I did not go to the center and therefore didn't have a terrible traffic (people said!) from and to Heathrow. From this point of view my stay was excellent:) Great transport communication (buses) with all Heathrow terminals. Free of charge. If a taxi - 10 pounds' trip. Very friendly and helpful employees!
Cons: Nothing to inform.

4.0 Okay
Cons: My room was not serviced after the first night, when I reported it to reception they were more interested in finding an excuse than helping. Eventually I registered a complaint about the staff attitude. I have since heard nothing. Their "Make it better" slogan does not work. Why did the TV in the bathroom come on at full volume at 5:00am?
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very new, amazing facilities, tv in the shower area and a beautiful location by the park
Cons: We arrived 10h30min am and they wanted to charge us 25 extra pounds to leave our bags in the room (so the check-in), considering that at 12pm would be free. Asked to be waived, but even being Hilton Honors didn't work. Felt quite embarrassed... Breakfast for 20 pound per person is too much for what you already paid for the room...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect beautiful hotel.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of choice at the buffet breakfast Friendly staff at the spa/swimming pool Nice pillows in the bedroom too. Great cocktails in the bar.
Cons: The shower door leaked making the floor in the bathroom wet. Cheese wasn’t very nice on the cheese platter.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rooms and location with great facilities within the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and spacious. Friendly staff both in reception and the restaurant, we ate in the restaurant without a booking and the staff were super accommodating. The food was beyond expectation, super yummy and great value! The room was awesome and spacious, super clean and comfortable, we had a ground floor room with a view of the garden with an outside table and chairs, the super huge shower with inbuilt tv was a luxury! I will definitely be returning to use the amazing looking spa and stay.
Cons: The only one thing I could mention is the pudding my partner ordered ‘berry crumble’ in fact came as more of a pie and little cream which wasn’t overly enjoyable for him but nevertheless tasted good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities was lovely and felt like I was at home.
Cons: The food was overpriced and there was a lot of dust in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the tv in the bath tub We loved the large bed We loved the balcony area We loved the spa area and decor We loved the free ice bucket We loved being to order food to the room.
Cons: Steam room out of action Plug socket to both sides of the bed
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, big room. Great breakfast with lots of choices but food is mediocre otherwise. Sheets are really comfortable.
Cons: Because it's inside Syon Park, it takes a while to get out of the property and there is only one road into and out of town so traffic can be bad. There aren't a lot of choices to eat within walking distance. Really would need a car at this property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Different and very comfortable , lots to do on site

Pros: Welcome was good. Breakfast was excellent. Bedroom was made of paper thin walls! Sounds from below quite audible despite them talking normally!
Cons: As above.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room at the top of the stairs. Excellent shower and plenty of light in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Gardens are very enjoyable to walk in early morning and evening and Richmond Park is only a short stroll away.
Cons: Room gets very hot with the afternoon sun.
6.7 Good
Pros: The home itself was so beautiful.
Cons: I think the staff were mostly overseas part-timers, so they weren't invested in the job. No one to show you around the home and explain the family significance, as most people would come for the house and history. Felt more like a big hotel than a boutique historic home experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here are amongst the best I have known. So friendly I felt I could have moved in permanently! Food is also great - everything home made and very British.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location!!!

Pros: Location - perfect for us Quiet.
Cons: Would prefer king sized bed. Very Limited bar menu if you don’t want to eat in the main Restuarant.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The setting for the hotel was beautiful, everything else was ordinary.
Cons: The room itself was average and in the annexe which I hadn't been informed of before arriving. It lacked any insulation and so could hear absolutely every sound from room above. Changed rooms at 1.00am to a single but that was even noisier so returned to original next day after having hardly any sleep. Bar food was mediocre and had to return chips as they were not cooked.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was on a private road. Very quiet area. The dinner and breakfast were good. The room was pleasant and comfortable.
Cons: The hotel often caters for weddings and conferences - individual guests might sometimes find such events distracting. This was not the case during our stay for Friday night only.

Cons: Some areas warn and slightly dated furniture, however fits with the building type
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, catering staff in the restaurant were super friendly and helpful. The hotel has beautiful surroundings.
Cons: Bad showers, inconsistent hotel service. Our stay was slightly ruined by a bad incident... My poor mum struggled with the shower which had terrible water pressure - cold water blasted out, then when the hot water finally came on it was only a weak stream so she felt really cold and tried to get out but slipped badly in the bath as she was fumbling around and we had to get her to the hospital - reception NEVER answered the phone throughout that evening and the one staff member around wasn't helpful at all (he asked if my mum was drunk - she was NOT and it seemed really rude of him to ask that while not doing anything to help us) so we just dialed 999 ourselves and got the ambulance over. The next morning as we were returning to the hotel from hospital (spent the whole night waiting for the ambulance and at A&E), we needed our room changed to the ground floor as my mum could not walk up the stairs due to pain from her fractured ribs, so I rang reception multiple times to ask for a room to be prepared in advance but NO ONE picked up again. When we got to the hotel, thankfully Katherine at front desk was super helpful and apologetic about the situation after I explained everything, and she did her best to get us rooms on the ground floor and made sure my mum could rest in a vacant room while we waited for the rooms to be prepared. Thanks to Katherine she made our terrible experience better and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay as much as possible while my mum tried to recuperate - if not for Katherine's professionalism and friendliness, I would have filed a formal complaint about how badly the hotel handled our accident, which was frankly caused by the terrible shower in the first place (the tap in my sink also sputtered out water so perhaps there's bad water pressure on all the rooms above ground level). Thank you Katherine, if only your colleagues were all as good as you!

Pros: Beautiful location and building Good little touches and given the quality and location price reasonable.
Cons: 12. 5 % service charge automatically added . Becoming common but don’t agree . Tipping should be linked to service quality. (Which was excellent)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is amazing. Extremely friendly atmosphere. Helpful and knowledgable staff. The views are amazing. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Beds were very comfortable and both my wife and I had a good nights sleep. We will definitely be back
Cons: No separate heating controls in the room. Temp was very warm. Slept with balcony door open and with a fan. On saying that I would much rather do that than have a freezing cold room. It certainly wasn’t the end of the world and I’m sure for many guests the room temp was fine. Adjustable heating in rooms would be a fine addition.
7.5 Good
Cons: Smell of food from kitchen in our room. Noisy telephone from neighbor
