Cons:I didn't even pick up the car. The line was over a 2 hr wait, wrapped all the way across the multi car rental lobby. I was ridiculous. I rented a car from the company next to it and just took the loss.

Pros:I did like that there was no hassle trading the vehicle.
Cons:I didn't like that initially the vehicle they gave us was unsatisfactory. The car also wasn't really clean. The windows especially.

Cons:Too much pressure on the upsell. It gets old. Then you tell me I need to bring gas receipt to prove I just filled the tank. Feels like you are nickel and dimeing me after I just agreed to pay you $200+ to rent a car.

Pros:Pick up was fast, easy and friendly.
Cons:There was a bit of a trip from the airport to pick up the car. The biggest issue was the absolutely rudest customer service I have ever received during drop off. When I pulled up the attendant was sitting in a chair looking at his phone so I turned the car off and walk to get a baggage cart. Once at the baggage cart the attendant begins to yell at me to return to the car immediately so he could check the mileage. I told him I was getting a baggage cart and was coming back. He continued to yell and tell me I’m not to leave the vehicle until he gave me permission... It took longer for him to have his inappropriate outburst then it did for me to get the cart and come back. After throwing the receipt at me he got in another car and squealed the tires as he pulled away.

Cons:We had to wait in a 2.5 hour line to pick up our car at PHX airport, despite having a reservation well in advance. That would have been a real problem if our travel plans were not flexible. There were only 2 or 3 agents assisting customers at a counter that had 7 stations. No other car rental agency at the airport had a line. Everyone else in line at Thrifty had a reservation, and most through Priceline or similar service, so they had already paid for at least part of their rental and couldn't cancel and find a car through another agency. Thrifty knew in advance the number of customers picking up cars at that time (via the reservation system), but did not sufficiently staff their service counter to accommodate those customers. Will never reserve a car at Thrifty, or through Priceline, again.
