Pros:The type of vehicle worked well for our trip
Cons:No cars were available even though I had a reservation that was made 2 weeks prior to arrival. We had to wait an 1hr and a half for a car. We were told that cars were not available due to lack of maintenance and rental extensions. I called he thrifty customer service and they could not help me and told me to ask for the area manager onsite. The area manager would not come out of her office to talk to me and 3 other customers asking for her help. She literally said no and hid in her office. Horrible experience.

Pros:We arrived earlier than expected. Our car wasn't ready. We were offered an upgrade that would be ready immediately.
Cons:The downside was I ended up spending an extra $60.

Cons:The reception desk at Savannah airport tried to give me a pickup truck as part of the "dealer's choice" rate, not a normal sized car. I had no idea they could insist on such a dangerous transaction--requiring a customer to take a vehicle that actually requires fairly specialized practice and skill to drive and park. Not everyone is comfortable with or able to drive and park such vehicles. I certainly am not. I kept requesting that they give me something else. The woman at the desk didn't warn me about assigning me a truck. I found out on my own when walking into the parking lot. Terrible, sneaky practice. It took making a big scene at the desk before a manager intervened and assigned me a more appropriate car. So, contrary to the first desk attendent's insistence that they had no other available cars, apparently they did. Thrifty is terrible, engages in underhanded practices and makes vacation plans uncomfortable. Never again.

Pros:I thought my family of 5 would need a full size vehicle. The Thrifty employee suggested an upgrade to a Ford F-150... I thought my family would hate it. Everyone loved it and had plenty of room for 5 and our luggage. The bed was covered to protect our luggage from the rain. I would definitely recommend it!!!
Cons:I thought our upgrade was $25 per day total...once I returned the vehicle it was $25 additional. The rental was still reasonable. Averaging a little more than $45 per day.

Pros:unlimited mileage is a great thing--check-in to return the vehicle was amazingly quick and efficient.
Cons:picking up the vehicle took too long waiting in line in Savannah--only one agent available...the website deal was misleading on the kind of car we had reserved, so there was no choice but to upgrade and pay more than expected. Felt manipulated.

Cons:Inside car was not well cleaned. Armrest and. GPS screen had finder prints all over. Car tires were set al all different poundage. One tire was under inflated at 23 lbs. The others were exceeded buy as much as 10 lbs. Should have been set at 32 all around. The 300 Chrysler is a nice driving aut

Pros:Person who helped us with car was great. Car was adequate.
Cons:There were scratches on the car that we had to go back into the terminal about that should have been noted prior. It was over 90 degrees. When we returned we had to go drop off the keys in the terminal, and we had to wait in line.
