Cons:they didn't honor my reservation
Cons:I reserved a convertible for 497 thru the kayak site. My reservation was immediately switched to a compact car for twice the price. Great deal of aggravation trying to get what I had reserved and was not successful I will never use kayak, priceline or thrifty again due to clear unethical advertising and policies.

Cons:Insurance was the price of the car rental fee. Ridiculous
Pros:The staff was friendly and helpful and drop off/pick up was easy despite the fact that it was not at the airport.
Cons:First car they gave me was filthy and smelled like an ash tray. The second car they gave me was old and dented all over the place. Two warning lights were flashing and the tire pressure was low. Had to go to gas station first thing and pump up tires. Trunk was also broken with exposed wiring.
Pros:We had a working vehicle that got us where we needed to go. And, due to the multiple dents and scratches, it did fit in with the local population.
Cons:The ad was for a convertible. There were no convertibles on the island at all --so that was misleading. We suspect the car had been totaled out by insurance due to the hurricane and was still be rented. The stains on the ceiling and seats on the interior were very suspicious for mold. The loose hubcap gave us sound effects throughout the trip. The broken tail lights, big dent in the back and multiple dents made it easy for us to not have to worry about damage to the car. The clearance was too low for most driveways in St. Thomas. They charged us for a full tank of gas even though we returned it full. And lastly, there was no way to contact Thrifty from the airport other than borrowing a phone from a local who had cell service. (Verizon does not work in the Islands). And then we waited 30 min for them to pick us up from the office less than a mile away.
The vehicle windows on the inside we very dirty. It was hard to see thru the front window due to film.
Check-out and check-in was quick and easy. Condition of vehicle was less than what is normal for Thrifty.
Pros:Drop off was quick, the car was clean,.
Cons:Picking up the car took a very long time as there was only one person working in a very small office.
Cons:The woman at the front counter was so rude, I didn't go through with the rental. I just leaved and walked down to Dependable Rent a Car.
